Chapter 1087 Protecting You
"No, absolutely not." Kimberly's tone was firm as she sat up, reaching for her bra and panties to don them slowly. Despite her acceptance of the ambiguous situation with Kevin, allowing him to stay was simply too risky, especially if Grant were to return unexpectedly.
Reluctantly, Kevin also got dressed and followed Kimberly to the living room. Kimberly sighed and said, "Kevin, do you find what the teacher said earlier ridiculous?"
"Not at all," Kevin quickly shook his head. He knew Kimberly meant they wouldn't engage in intimacy again. "Kimberly, it was my fault entirely. I deceived you. You can criticize me."
"Enough, does that even matter now?" Kimberly cast a helpless glance at Kevin. "Regardless, you're still a student. Education should be your top priority. Review the topics I covered tonight when you get home. I'll check your understanding tomorrow, understood?"
"I understand, Kimberly." Kevin bid farewell to Kimberly, descended the stairs, and made his way slowly to the front door. Although he had once again made love to Kimberly, his relationship with his cousin had distanced yet again. Was this a case of blessings in disguise? He didn't quite know how to feel. Audrey held the most significant place in his heart, irreplaceable by any other woman. Yet, contemplating giving up those other women to safeguard his bond with Audrey stirred conflicting emotions within him.
Alissa, Vanessa, Kimberly, Evelyn, Natalie, Grace... These women had all shared intimate moments with him, fulfilling desires, albeit temporarily. Humans are not devoid of emotions, and especially situations like dragging Kimberly into this mess were unacceptable to Kevin. He couldn't simply walk away, showing no responsibility, differentiating himself from a scoundrel. However, his cousin wouldn't tolerate his involvement with other women. Audrey was different; she had discovered Kevin in compromising situations before, leading to long periods of conflict. If she were to find out about his relationships with multiple women, she might sever ties completely.
Kevin pondered, feeling a headache coming on. Suddenly, the scenarios in romantic novels where men enjoyed the affections of multiple women seemed farcical—fictionalized ideals that rarely translated to reality. Unless brainwashed by the protagonist, jealousy and competition among women were a commonplace norm. Audrey's reaction was the epitome of normalcy; who would willingly share their man with another?
"Kevin, what are you doing here?" A voice interrupted his thoughts, causing Kevin to look around in bewilderment, unable to pinpoint the source of the voice. Did he just imagine it?
"I'm over here." The voice sounded again, and this time Kevin saw Maurice—a mature lady clad in a black coat, seated on a wooden chair beneath a large tree. If not for Maurice's laugh, he wouldn't have noticed her. Walking over, Kevin asked with a smile, "Mrs. Maurice, what brings you here?"
"I was feeling bored, so I decided to take a walk and clear my mind," Maurice smiled faintly. "You haven't answered my question yet. Are you here at the county committee compound to see me?"
Feeling slightly embarrassed, Kevin scratched his head and replied, "Mrs. Maurice, I actually wanted to see you. But with the start of the school year, things got busy, and I forgot. I was at Kimberly's for tutoring."
"Are you done with your session then?" Maurice stood up, her smile inviting. "How about you accompany me for a stroll? Mr. Armando is away in the city for a meeting, and I'm feeling quite lonely."
"Mrs. Maurice, isn't Fiona at home?" Kevin asked as he followed Maurice around the courtyard. Despite it not being nine o'clock yet, the chilly weather had driven most people indoors.
"Fiona went to her aunt's in the city. I'm alone at home," Maurice remarked, smiling. "Besides, Fiona and I can't get along. Every time we meet, we end up arguing, so I prefer it when she's away."
Acknowledging Fiona's temperament, Kevin shared some amusing incidents from his school life with Maurice, who listened with keen interest, occasionally asking questions. As their bodies drew closer, Kevin felt Maurice's mature and voluptuous figure brushing against his arm, rousing a tinge of forbidden desire.
Both Maurice and Daisy exuded an air of aristocratic sophistication, but Maurice's presence was more dominant. Her figure was even curvier than Daisy’s, accentuated by the black coat that emphasized her alluring curves. Displaying an elegant and noble aura, with a glimpse of her fair neck above the collar, her ample bosom suggested a formidable cup size—D or more. Recalling the time he gave Maurice a piggyback ride to the hospital, Kevin vividly remembered being pressed by her weighty breasts the entire way. Although he had solely focused on the road at the time, he now regretted not seizing the opportunity to appreciate the moment.
However, Maurice's prestigious status as the governor's wife left Kevin no room for inappropriate thoughts. He diligently suppressed any lewd inclinations and followed Maurice to the backyard garden.
Suddenly, a dark shadow darted out from the bushes, its vivid green eyes eerie to behold. Maurice let out a shriek and instinctively dove into Kevin's arms, pressing her ample breasts tightly against his chest. The mature allure surrounding Maurice overwhelmed Kevin momentarily, and he felt a surge of desire stirring within him, his manhood springing to life as it pressed forcefully against Maurice's abdomen.
