Chapter 631 The Framed Ivan

"Sis, how can I make you believe me?" Kevin still held onto Audrey's arm, knowing that the more she resisted, the angrier she was. If he let Audrey leave like this, they might end up in a cold war again.

"What do you want me to believe in you?" Audrey freed her arm from Kevin's grip, giving him a deep look and said lightly, "Kevin, as a student, you should know what you should and shouldn't do. I don't want to bring up today's incident again. In the future, don't come to my office at school. If you have any issues, talk to Mrs. Garcia. Otherwise, I will have to discuss with Mrs. Garcia."

Kevin's heart sank. Was Audrey trying to keep her distance from him? He felt unjustly treated because he hadn't done anything wrong. Why wouldn't Audrey believe him? If he really had something going on with Kimberly, how could it happen in public?

"Mrs. Johnson, if you don't believe me, there's nothing I can do." Kevin said stubbornly, "I won't come to your office again. I don't need a cousin like you." With that, he turned and walked away.

Seeing Kevin's tall figure disappear at the distant intersection, Audrey felt a pang in her heart. She wanted to call him back when he left, but no words came out of her mouth.

Audrey didn't understand why she was so angry. Just seeing Kevin with Kimberly made her uncomfortable, and meeting Quentin today added to her frustration, leading her to vent on Kevin.

Perhaps it was all a misunderstanding between Kevin and Kimberly. Audrey bit her lip, a hint of regret on her face. She shouldn't have been so emotional. Despite Kevin's good behavior lately, Audrey had slowly accepted their ambiguous relationship. But today, they had a falling out.

As Audrey walked on, she realized she lacked certainty about her feelings for Kevin. Unlike Alissa, who only needed physical satisfaction, Audrey sought emotional connection. However, she couldn't let go of Jason emotionally, creating inner conflict. Despite avoiding the issue, it continued to torment her, leaving her unsure about her future with Kevin.

Maybe it was for the best, Audrey sighed inwardly. She shouldn't have let things get complicated with Kevin. Before crossing the final line, she decided to end this twisted relationship to avoid future regrets.

As the weight on her heart lifted, Audrey didn't feel relieved. Instead, she felt empty, reminiscent of the loneliness she felt when her husband first left, with no one to confide in. Lost in her thoughts, she didn't know who to share her pain with.

Suddenly, a car horn behind her startled Audrey. She turned to see Quentin driving slowly, poking his head out of the window with a smile, "Mrs. Johnson, why do you look upset? Facing difficulties? You can talk to me, I promise to help."

Audrey's expression darkened, ignoring Quentin and continuing to walk forward. Her long, snow-white legs moved swiftly, her ample bosom swaying with each step, captivating Quentin.

Undeterred, Quentin gazed at Audrey's alluring figure, his eyes filled with desire. He continued driving alongside her, leisurely saying, "Audrey, don't think Oliver can protect you. Once my uncle becomes the head of the education bureau, even the school principal will have to listen to him. Where will you run then? Unless you don't want to be a teacher anymore, you won't escape my grasp."

Stopping in her tracks, Audrey glared at Quentin, her brows furrowed, and said coldly, "Quentin, even if I don't teach anymore, I won't agree to your terms. Give up on me."

Quentin expected Audrey's response. His gaze lingered on her seductive figure, admiring her ample bosom and slender legs. He licked his dry lips and sighed, "Mrs. Johnson, you misunderstand me. I may want to be intimate with you, but men, including Oliver and even your husband, have similar desires. Maybe he's already enjoying himself down south, leaving you alone. Why hold back? Life is short. As long as you're willing, I'll make sure you're satisfied. I'm better than that kid Kevin, can his little thing satisfy you?"

"Shut up, Quentin! Don't speak so crudely." Audrey's body trembled, her face turning pale as she glared at Quentin, "Kevin and I are innocent. It's not as sordid as you think."

"Why so serious, Mrs. Johnson? I was just joking with you." Quentin wasn't entirely sure, but he wanted to provoke Audrey. Seeing her intense reaction, he felt a hint of doubt. Could Kevin have really crossed the line with Audrey? But then he dismissed the thought. Even if Kevin dared to make a move on his cousin, Audrey wasn't the type to be taken advantage of.
