Chapter 1544

"Sean5, why are you crying all of a sudden?"

Audrey was caught off guard. She quickly grabbed a tissue from the desk and started wiping Sean's tears, frowning. "What's going on? Is someone in your class giving you a hard time? Tell me, and I'll talk to your homeroom teacher or even Ms. Turner if I have to."

"Ms. Johnson, I'm too scared to say," Sean shook his head, crying even harder.

"There's nothing to be scared of. Just tell me, and I'll help you," Audrey said, her concern growing. Sean was usually well-behaved and not the type to cause trouble. Plus, he was a class officer. Who would bully him?

"It was Kevin and Albert," Sean stammered, sneaking a glance at Audrey's expression. If she showed any sign of protecting Kevin, he wouldn't say anything more.

"What? Kevin!" Audrey was shocked, her eyebrows knitting together. "Sean, tell me exactly how Kevin bullied you. I'll deal with him."

"They hit me and forced me to give them my allowance!" Sean cried, though he was vague, putting all the blame on Kevin and leaving out Albert's part.

"This is outrageous! I'll call Kevin over right now," Audrey fumed. She couldn't believe Kevin would do such a thing behind her back. If it were anyone else, she wouldn't be this angry, but Kevin was her cousin, which made it worse.

"Ms. Johnson, it's not Kevin's fault," Sean quickly said. "I deserved it. I did something wrong to you."

"What do you mean?" Audrey's pretty face showed confusion. "Sean, you're confusing me. What happened?"

"I'm too scared to say. I'm afraid you'll be mad," Sean said, tears streaming down his face. "Ms. Johnson, I deserve it. I should die."

"Alright, I promise I won't be mad. Just tell me," Audrey said, growing more curious. What could Sean have done to make Kevin act this way? She hadn't noticed any impact on herself.

Sean finally mustered the courage to confess that he had posted Audrey's private photos on a forum.

"What!" Audrey's face flushed with embarrassment. She never expected that the photos she had accidentally sent to Sean instead of Jason would end up online. "Sean, how could you do that? Do you know what that means? Why didn't you tell me at the time? No wonder you were scared to say anything. Do you think I can just forgive you for this?"

Seeing Audrey's expression darken and her tone grow colder, Sean panicked. If Audrey held him responsible, he was done for. He collapsed to his knees in front of her, sobbing, "Ms. Johnson, I'm sorry. I must have been out of my mind. I deserve to die. If you don't forgive me, I don't want to live. I'll jump off a building."

Audrey's expression shifted. Boys at this age could be impulsive, and if Sean really jumped, it would be catastrophic. Besides, although Sean was wrong, she was partly to blame for accidentally sending the photos. Seeing Sean's tormented state, she sighed and said, "Alright, I don't blame you. Get up."

"Ms. Johnson, do you really forgive me?"

"Yes, I forgive you. Now get up," Audrey said, feeling a bit awkward. If someone saw this, they might misunderstand.

Sean stood up, still nervous. "Ms. Johnson, you really don't blame me?"

"No, I don't blame you," Audrey said, looking at Sean. She was still angry, of course. Her private photos had been posted online, and who knew if anyone she knew had seen them. Although Sean had deleted the photos, she was still uneasy. "But you have to promise me that all the photos are deleted. No backups on your computer, and you can't tell anyone. Understand?"

"Ms. Johnson, I swear I didn't keep any photos. I deleted them all," Sean said, his face flushed with urgency. "You have to believe me. I'm not lying."

"Alright, I believe you," Audrey finally said after a moment of silence. She sighed, "Sean, you've really let me down. I never thought you'd do something like this. Just go. I don't want to see you right now."

Sean panicked, seeing the clear look of disappointment on Audrey's face. He knew she probably hated him now, and he would never get close to his beloved teacher again. Feeling hopeless, he cried, "Ms. Johnson, I'm sorry. Goodbye!"

Audrey saw Sean rushing towards the door and quickly grabbed his arm, her face pale. "Sean, are you out of your mind? What are you doing? Calm down."

Sean felt he had committed an unforgivable sin. Looking at Audrey's beautiful face, he was filled with regret and cried, "Ms. Johnson, I don't want you to hate me. Living is meaningless to me now."

Audrey instinctively wanted to push Sean away, but hearing his words, she softened. Sean had made a mistake, but he was still a kid. He didn't deserve to die, and this was partly her fault. If Sean really did something drastic, she would never forgive herself.

"Alright, Sean, I don't hate you," Audrey sighed, gently stroking his hair. "Don't do anything foolish. There are so many wonderful things in this world waiting for you. You have parents who love you, and a long road ahead. Understand?"

But Sean couldn't hear Audrey's words. Seeing her ample chest, he was overwhelmed with desire, his body reacting. He fantasized about being intimate with her and instinctively moved closer.

Audrey quickly noticed his dick and felt a mix of embarrassment and anger. She wanted to scold him and send him to the Student Affairs Office, but after the recent scare, she didn't want to push him further. Taking a deep breath, she controlled her emotions and said calmly, "Alright, Sean, go back to class. I'll talk to Kevin. No matter what, hitting someone is wrong. I promise he will pay for it."

"Ms. Johnson, about what just happened, I..." Sean began, realizing he had disrespected Audrey and feeling terrified.

"That's enough, Sean. You don't need to explain. I understand. Just go," Audrey interrupted. She didn't want to revisit the incident. She could understand Sean's sudden impulse and decided to let it go as a small concession.

However, she resolved to avoid any private interactions with Sean in the future. And his long-awaited transfer to another class was now out of the question. After what had happened, Audrey realized Sean had developed feelings for her, and she needed to prevent any further issues. She didn't want another situation like Kevin's.

"Goodbye, Ms. Johnson," Sean said as he left the office, still basking in the relief of being forgiven. He didn't realize that his impulsive actions had landed him on Audrey's blacklist, forever ruining any chance of winning her favor.

Despite being a class officer since freshman year and having more opportunities to interact with Audrey than any other boy, Sean had been outdone by Kevin. His lack of courage and poor luck had cost him dearly.

Opportunities always favor those who dare to take risks, especially in matters of the heart.
