Chapter 576 Having BBQ with Fiona
Due to the swelling on his face, Kevin didn't dare to go anywhere and could only continue to stay in the study room to do his homework. Kimberly felt guilty and voluntarily helped Kevin with some English tutoring. She frowned and said, "Kevin, your listening and speaking skills are not up to par. It would be best for you to have your family buy you a better radio. You can listen to VOA or BBC radio programs at night. This way, over time, you can improve your language skills."
"I understand, Kimberly," Kevin nodded. He thought to himself that he could afford to buy a radio, especially since Alissa had given him a supermarket gift card worth a thousand dollars the night before.
After hesitating for a moment, Kimberly took out two hundred dollars from her bag and handed it to Kevin, saying, "Kevin, you got hurt because of the teacher today. This is just a small token of my apology. Please accept it."
Kevin quickly replied, "Kimberly, I really can't accept your money. This incident is not your fault. It was just an accident, and my injury is nothing serious. Maybe it will be fine after a good night's sleep. Please don't worry about it."
Seeing Kevin insist on not taking the money, Kimberly had to take the money back, feeling even more guilty. She bit her lip and said, "Kevin, how about this? You can come to the teacher's house for extra lessons during the summer vacation, and the teacher won't charge you."
Kevin was startled and quickly shook his head, smiling bitterly, "Kimberly, I'd better not go. Otherwise, your husband might misunderstand again."
Kimberly was taken aback, thinking about her husband's temper. Indeed, she had overlooked this aspect. If Kevin went to her house, Grant would definitely be suspicious. However, she didn't know how to compensate Kevin in this situation.
Kevin, on the other hand, stared at Kimberly's face. Kimberly had fair skin, and after crying, her eyes were red, making her look even more delicate and charming, with an indescribable feminine charm. It was no wonder her husband was worried about her.
Seeing Kevin staring at her, Kimberly furrowed her brows. She was about to reprimand him, but when she saw the swollen area on Kevin's face, she couldn't bring herself to speak. She thought, if he wants to look, let him look. Consider it as compensation.
However, after Kevin finished looking at her face, he couldn't help but glance down at Kimberly's chest, where her two full breasts were subtly outlined under a white T-shirt with a black bra. The sight was alluring, making Kevin think that if Audrey dressed like this, it would evoke a different feeling. Audrey's 36F exquisite breasts would always capture his attention, an overwhelming sensation that no other woman could match.
Finally, Kevin's gaze fell on Kimberly's beautiful legs. Kimberly's legs were fair and slender, not as voluptuous as Alissa's, nor as strong and powerful as Grace's long legs, but comparable to Florence's beautiful legs. Her skin was fair, smooth, and glossy, inviting closer inspection.
"Kevin, have you seen enough?" Kimberly thought Kevin would just take a quick glance, but he kept looking at her face, then her chest, and then her legs. It made her uncomfortable, so she couldn't help but cough and say, "If you've seen enough, go back to studying."
Kevin snapped out of his reverie, realizing Kimberly was looking at him sternly. He knew he had crossed a line and quickly moved to a corner to continue his work.
Seeing Kevin's embarrassed look, Kimberly couldn't help but smile. Although Kevin's peeking made her uncomfortable, she didn't feel disgusted. She actually thought Kevin was quite sincere. If it were someone else in his situation, they might have already caused a scene or called the police. Kimberly felt that letting Kevin sneak a few glances wasn't a big deal.
The two stayed in the office until after seven in the evening. Kimberly had received over a hundred apologetic messages from her husband, Grant. She realized that continuing the silent treatment wasn't the solution and decided to go home and have a good talk with her husband. She stood up and said, "Kevin, it's getting late. Let's go home."
"Okay, Kimberly." Kevin packed up his things and left the office with Kimberly. Kimberly carefully examined Kevin's face and noticed that the swelling had subsided. She felt relieved, bid farewell to Kevin at the entrance, and hurried back to the residential area.
Meanwhile, Kevin headed south, thinking about Kimberly's impulsive husband. He felt a bit depressed about the unfairness of the two slaps he received today. If Kimberly hadn't been kind to him before, he wouldn't have been so quick to resolve the situation.
However, Kimberly was also in a pitiful situation, having such a husband. She didn't know how she managed at home with him. No wonder she had to run to the school on a big weekend.
Turning the corner, Kevin arrived at the busiest commercial street in the county. There were many restaurants here, and in the evening, they placed tables and chairs on the roadside for a cool atmosphere. Many customers sat along the street, chatting and drinking, creating a lively scene.
The enticing aroma made Kevin's stomach growl. He had spent the afternoon with Kimberly at school and hadn't eaten dinner yet, so he was feeling quite hungry. However, after feeling the change in his pocket, with just a few coins, he gave up on the idea of eating out. He swallowed his saliva and was about to leave when he heard someone calling his name from behind. Turning around, he was surprised to see Fiona.
Fiona was wearing a blue checkered dress, showing off her slender and fair legs. She wore black sandals and had her hands behind her back, exuding a calm and elegant demeanor. She walked up to him with a smile and asked, "Kevin, where are you heading?"
