Chapter 1490
Kevin got up and walked towards the door, his penis slowly subsiding. No matter how attractive Kimberly was, she couldn't hold a candle to Audrey. He needed to keep his priorities straight.
"Water, I need water," came Kimberly's faint voice from behind.
Kevin turned and saw Kimberly muttering softly, her eyes still closed. She looked so vulnerable that he couldn't just leave her like that. He went to the kitchen, poured a glass of warm water, and carefully brought it to her on the sofa.
Kimberly was clearly very thirsty and drank the entire glass. As she opened her eyes slowly, she was startled to see Kevin. Pushing him away forcefully, she said coldly, "Kevin, what are you doing here? Who let you in?"
Kevin felt a pang of frustration at her cold demeanor. If he had known she would react this way, he wouldn't have bothered playing the hero. He might as well have let that other guy take her. He replied indifferently, "Ms. Rivera, I was passing by the bar and saw you drunk. One of your friends wanted to take you home, but I didn't feel comfortable with that, so I brought you back. I'm sorry for entering your house without your permission. I apologize, and it won't happen again. Please rest well. I'm leaving now." With that, he turned and headed for the door.
Kimberly was stunned, and fragmented memories began to resurface. She had been stressed out by Grant's issues for the past few days. Today, she called her husband, asking him to come home, but Grant kept making excuses, saying he was busy. They had another argument, and she was feeling down. A colleague had mentioned a new bar in town, so she went there to drink and unwind. She ended up having too much, and many men approached her. If it was true that a man had wanted to take her away, as Kevin said, the consequences could have been disastrous.
She broke out in a cold sweat. Feeling ashamed of her earlier cold attitude towards Kevin, she quickly got up and said, "Kevin, wait a minute."
Kevin stopped and looked back at her, his face unreadable. "Ms. Rivera, do you need anything else? If not, I'll head home."
Kimberly approached him, her expression apologetic. "Kevin, I'm sorry. I misunderstood you. Thank you for bringing me home."
"It was nothing, really. Just a small favor. Ms. Rivera, it's late. You should get some rest." Hearing Kimberly's soft apology, Kevin's anger dissipated. After all, she was his teacher. He couldn't just let some other guy take her away; that wouldn't sit right with him.
"Kevin, can you stay with me for a while?" Kimberly bit her lip and asked, "I need someone to talk to."
Kevin saw the pleading look in her eyes, softened, and nodded, "Alright."
They returned to the sofa and sat down, each at one end, and an awkward silence hung between them. Their previous physical relationship made normal conversation difficult.
After a while, Kimberly broke the silence, speaking softly, "Kevin, why didn't you come to school yesterday afternoon? Did something happen at home?"
"Oh, no, I just wasn't feeling well, so I took a day off," Kevin quickly explained.
"Well, you're in your junior year now, and the pressure is high. You need to take care of yourself and not overwork," Kimberly said out of habit, but she felt a wave of irritation. She had to pretend to be indifferent at school in front of her colleagues, but did she have to be so fake at home, too? Would Kevin think she was a hypocrite, pretending nothing had happened even though they had been intimate?
"Yeah, I understand," Kevin said, lowering his gaze to Kimberly's beautiful legs in stockings. She was leaning against the sofa cushion, her legs together and hanging down. Her feet were as delicate as carved jade or blooming white lotus flowers. Her toes were neatly arranged, with pink nail polish. The arch of her foot was exquisitely shaped, and her feet, wrapped in transparent stockings, had a sexy, enticing glow that made Kevin's mouth water. Her calves were slender and smooth, looking so tender and inviting that he could hardly resist the urge to touch them.
He looked up along Kimberly's thighs. The hem of her pencil skirt had ridden up slightly, revealing the lace panties on the inside. The center of the panties was darkened, hinting at the most intimate part of her.
Seeing Kimberly’s long, smooth, and inviting legs, along with the glimpse of her panties, Kevin’s heart raced, and his erection strained against his pants. His mind raced with vivid images of Kimberly undressing, her slim body revealed, her firm legs wrapped around his waist, his thick, hard penis deep inside her, feeling the tightness and warmth of her vagina. He imagined their bodies entwined, her vaginal fluids seeping out, making his glans tingle, almost driving him to the edge of climax.
Kevin quickly closed his legs, clamping his excited penis. He didn't blame himself. It was late, and he was alone with a beautiful, sexy teacher dressed so provocatively. It would be odd if he didn't have a physiological reaction. But what good was an erection? Kimberly just wanted to chat, not have sex. Why had he agreed to stay?
Kimberly noticed the change in Kevin’s crotch, and her face flushed. She instinctively pulled down her pencil skirt to cover her legs, but it was already short and only exposed her waist more.
She knew she shouldn’t have asked Kevin to stay. Her husband wasn’t home, and it felt inappropriate for a single woman to be alone with a man, especially one she had a past with.
But she didn’t want to be alone. She just wanted someone to keep her company through the long night. She had felt an urge to let loose and retaliate when she went to the bar, but she held back. She wasn’t the kind of woman to degrade herself, even if Grant had cheated on her.
Now, with Kevin there, she felt uneasy, worried that he might misunderstand her intentions. She genuinely just wanted to talk.
Seeing Kevin still staring at her legs, Kimberly's heart fluttered. She quickly got up and said, "Kevin, have you eaten? Let me make something for you." But she was still a bit drunk, her legs wobbly. She almost stumbled after a few steps.
Kevin rushed to help her sit back down and said, "Ms. Rivera, you should rest a bit. I'll make some noodles for you." He then headed to the kitchen.
Kimberly leaned back on the sofa, her head spinning and her throat dry. She regretted going to the bar and drinking. Hearing the noises from the kitchen, she felt a warmth in her heart. It had been a long time since she'd felt this way.
Since Grant had gone to West Stream Town, she'd been eating at the school cafeteria before going home. On weekends, she just ate random things, as her cooking skills were lacking. The first time she tried to cook, she almost cut her hand, so Grant didn't let her cook again.
Grant was a good husband, driven and ambitious in his career, and he took care of her well. If she worked late, he would pick her up from school, and if the weather was bad, he would drive her. He rarely made her do housework, and her colleagues envied her. His only flaw was his temper and jealousy, not allowing her to interact with other men, even hitting Kevin once.
Kimberly never thought of betraying her husband or getting involved with another man. She didn’t understand why she so easily had sex with Kevin and felt little anger afterward, just a deep sense of guilt.
Kevin was a minor, and it had happened in her home. As an adult woman and a teacher, she had to take full responsibility for such a scandalous act. If Kevin's mother found out and made a scene, she would have to face severe consequences. This was why, despite enjoying the sex with Kevin, she kept her distance. A teacher-student relationship was unethical and could ruin them both if it came to light.
If Grant hadn't gone to the countryside, Kimberly might have gradually forgotten everything and returned to her familiar, peaceful life. But since he moved to West Stream Town, he seemed like a different person, calling her less and less, and she could sense his indifference.
When she heard from Ethan about Grant's behavior in West Stream Town, Kimberly realized he was no longer the man she once knew. She regretted encouraging him to take the position. The countryside was remote, and relationships there were tumultuous. His position was easily coveted by others.
But it was too late for regrets. Kimberly tried to persuade Grant to return to the county, but he insisted that he had only been there for a few months and couldn't give up now. He needed to stay in West Stream Town for at least two years. Kimberly contemplated transferring to a school in West Stream to avoid a long-distance relationship and to prevent others from taking advantage of the situation.
However, conditions in the countryside were poor, and the benefits were far inferior to those at Sunset Valley High. Moreover, it was a crucial time for housing allocation. If she left now, she would lose her chance at securing a house, so she couldn’t make up her mind.
Stay or leave, Kimberly was in a dilemma. She got up and walked to the kitchen. As she approached the dining room, she caught a whiff of a delicious aroma. She hadn’t eaten much all day, and the smell made her stomach growl and her mouth water. She cursed herself for being weak but was also surprised that Kevin wasn’t just good at studying, he was an excellent cook too, and he was great in bed. What was she thinking?
