Chapter 1508
Daisy placed a cup of coffee on the table and then settled onto the couch, glancing at Fred, who appeared slightly uneasy. She had just called Oliver to inquire about the new female teachers who had graduated from Sunset Valley High. There were indeed two single ones, so she had invited Fred over to help him out.
"Fred, you're still young. Even though our troupe isn't doing so great right now, you need to work hard and use this time to improve your skills. We need to keep learning. We're getting older, and the future of the troupe will depend on young talents like you. I don't know you very well, but from our interaction today, I feel like you're someone with ambition and dreams, right?"
Daisy's words were intended as a leader's encouragement, but Fred, harboring preconceived notions, thought Daisy had called him over because she was interested in him. So, he interpreted her words differently, thinking she was hinting at something. He straightened up and said, "Daisy, don't worry. I just graduated and don't know much yet. I'm really touched that you think so highly of me. I want to learn more from you. Besides, you don't look old at all. You have such a great figure, like a girl in her twenties. If anyone dares to say you're old, I'll be the first to argue with them."
Daisy had just taken a sip of water and, hearing Fred's straightforward compliment, she accidentally spat it out on him. She quickly grabbed some tissues to help wipe the water off him, laughing, "I didn't expect you to be so good at flattering women. But in work, just talking isn't enough. Actions speak louder than words. I'll be keeping an eye on your performance."
Fred was thrilled to see Daisy lowering herself to help him wipe off the water, and her words seemed even more suggestive. He felt her fingers brushing against his chest and stomach, and he could even feel her breath on his neck.
His eyes couldn't help but drift to Daisy's chest, noticing the curves beneath her sweater. He felt a surge of desire, wanting to reach out and grab those enticing breasts, and his arousal intensifying.
Daisy, while helping Fred, suddenly noticed his body stiffening. She looked down and saw a bulge in his pants. When she looked up, she saw him staring at her chest, and her face flushed. She realized she had been too careless.
Young men are naturally full of desire and sensitive. Seeing a woman's body can easily trigger a reaction, let alone physical contact. She remembered how Kevin had reacted when she helped him apply ointment after he got burned. But Kevin was her daughter's classmate and still a kid, while Fred was a colleague. She couldn't let him misunderstand.
She quickly pulled her hand back and moved a bit to the side, trying to stay calm. "Fred, young people need to have positive thoughts. Don't let me catch you doing what you did this afternoon again, or I'll have to report it to Mr. Watson."
"Oh, Daisy, I'm sorry. I'll definitely behave better in the future." Fred's face turned red as he stammered, recalling how he had been caught watching adult videos in the office that afternoon. He was confused by Daisy's mixed signals, not sure what to make of her behavior.
"By the way, I contacted a female teacher for you. She's from my husband's school, just graduated, and is a year younger than you. If you think she's suitable, reach out to her and meet up soon." Daisy smiled, "Young people should have a proper relationship. Don't overindulge yourself; it's not good for you."
"Oh, thank you." Fred finally understood that Daisy had invited him over to set him up with someone. A wave of disappointment and embarrassment washed over him. It was foolish to think that Daisy—a woman of her stature—would be interested in someone like him.
He jotted down the teacher's phone number and left the office, feeling dejected. Thinking about Daisy's mature and alluring body only deepened his sense of disappointment. He had foolishly considered whether to welcome Daisy’s supposed advances, but now he felt like a fool.
After Fred left, Daisy tidied up the couch and sprayed some perfume around. She took a photo of her cozy office and sent it to Kevin, wanting to share her joy with him.
Kevin was in the classroom during study hall when his phone buzzed. He took it out and saw a photo from Daisy. It was a beautifully decorated room with a couch and a desk. He found it odd and wondered if Daisy had sent it to the wrong person.
"Daisy, did you send this to the wrong person?"
"Nope, it's for you. Guess where this is?"
Kevin squinted at the photo, trying to figure it out. It looked like it could be Oliver's office. Was Daisy at Sunset Valley High? The idea of Daisy possibly sitting in front of her husband while texting him made his heart race. He quickly typed back, "Daisy, I wasn't satisfied at noon. Let's do it again tonight, at your place."
Daisy felt a rush of heat through her body upon reading Kevin's message. She hadn't been fully satisfied at noon either. After a moment of hesitation, she couldn't resist her desire and sent Kevin a message.
"Come to the dance troupe after school, go straight to the third floor, room 309. That's my office."
Kevin was surprised. The photo Daisy had sent was of her office. No wonder it looked so cozy. He had never been to the dance troupe before and found it intriguing. He had never been intimate with Daisy anywhere other than her home.
"Kevin, what are you up to?" Laura, who was working on her homework, turned and saw Kevin on his phone. She grumbled, "If you don't focus on your homework, I'll take your phone away. Who are you chatting with?"
"Just a spam message," Kevin chuckled, slipping his phone into his pocket. He couldn't exactly tell Laura he was chatting with her mom. But one day, he hoped to enjoy being with both Daisy and Laura.
Just then, Laura's phone rang. She looked at it and sighed, "My mom says she'll be late tonight and told me to grab something to eat. Kevin, come have dinner with me."
"I can't. Audrey wants me to go to her office after school to help me study for the exams. Why don't you go with Lucy?" Kevin quickly made up an excuse. Daisy was waiting for him, and he had no time to spend with Laura.
As soon as the school bell rang, Kevin dashed out of the classroom, running towards the school gate like he was in a sprint race. He didn't notice a figure quietly following him.
That figure was Amos. He had spent the afternoon contemplating and decided to follow Kevin to understand his routine. But Kevin was running so fast that Amos had to jog to keep up, trying not to be noticed. Soon, he was out of breath, as he wasn't very fit, and Kevin pulled ahead by several hundred yards.
Just as Amos was about to lose sight of him, Kevin slipped into a large courtyard. Amos looked up at the sign on the wall—it was the county dance troupe. What on earth was Kevin doing here?
Amos knew the dance troupe well. As a kid, he often hung around there because of the many beautiful women who would hug and kiss him. Those were some of his happiest times.
But one time, he mistakenly entered the women's changing room and saw a stunning woman undressing. Seeing her breasts, he was shocked, and it was the first time his body reacted that way. That night, his father nearly broke his legs, and Amos rarely went to the dance troupe afterward.
Did Kevin have a relative in the dance troupe? Amos wondered. He stepped through the gate and saw Kevin heading into the office building. He was about to follow when someone called out, "Amos, what are you doing here?"
Amos turned to see his father, Darren. Startled, he quickly replied, "Dad, I just got out of school and thought I'd come see if you were done for the day."
"Alright, let’s get going. I’ll give you a ride home." Darren nodded, then added firmly, "From now on, go straight home after school. Don’t mess around here. Remember the trouble you caused when you were a kid? Willow still remembers."
"Dad, that was ages ago. Why do you keep bringing it up? It’s so embarrassing," complained Amos, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks. The woman he had seen was Ivan's mother, Willow. Every time he visited Ivan's house, Willow would tease him about it, making him feel utterly humiliated.
Sometimes, he couldn't help but think about Willow's ample bosom. It was a pity he hadn't appreciated them back then, and now there was no chance to see them again.
Amos climbed into Darren’s car, taking one last glance at the office building, trying to figure out who Kevin was meeting.
Meanwhile, Kevin had reached the third floor and found room 309. The office building was deserted; even the security staff had gone for dinner. The dark, old building had a distinctly eerie vibe.
He knocked on the door, which quickly opened. Daisy, seeing Kevin at the entrance, looked surprised. She glanced down the hallway, then swiftly pulled Kevin inside, closing the door behind them. The hallway was plunged back into darkness.
