Chapter 503 The Coerced Attractive Boss Lady
Kevin walked to the entrance of the shopping mall, glanced back at the second floor, feeling a bit depressed. Although he was just a high school student, he knew that doing business was not easy. He shouldn't have mocked Grace earlier, making their already strained relationship even worse.
Perhaps due to the hot weather, people's moods were easily irritable, especially Grace, who had a quick temper and was prone to impulsiveness. As Kevin faced a setback with Grace, he gradually realized that reality was different from novels. Not every woman he had been with would be submissive to him. He could have affairs with several women, so why couldn't Grace? At least he couldn't stop Grace from being intimate with her husband, let alone someone like Vanessa, who might have even fewer inhibitions once in the city, possibly sleeping with many men.
Kevin knew that if these women cried and demanded responsibility from him, he would have a headache. He was just a regular student, barely able to support himself, let alone support women. Although he desired Audrey, he couldn't confidently ask her to divorce her husband and be with him. His immature shoulders couldn't bear the responsibility of a family, let alone establishing a harem like in adult novels.
If only he could win the lottery and have millions, he would buy a large villa in the city, bring his mother there, convince Audrey to divorce, quit his job, and live together as a family. This way, his mother wouldn't suspect anything, and if other women couldn't get along with their husbands, they could work as maids in his villa. Everyone would have their roles during the day and enjoy each other's company at night, a harmonious and indulgent life.
However, Audrey's personality would likely not accept Kevin having other women, except maybe Alissa. But Alissa, despite her strained relationship with her husband, didn't seem inclined to divorce. Moreover, Alissa's appearance was average compared to Audrey and Vanessa, not to mention she was below Kevin's mother, Bethany, in terms of attractiveness. Kevin would probably get tired of her eventually.
As for Evelyn, it was even more impossible, given Albert's presence. Their relationship couldn't be public, and Albert, despite being Kevin's close friend, wouldn't accept the fact that his mother was with his friend. Evelyn's husband held a powerful position, with significant undisclosed income. Albert often traveled with Evelyn during breaks, and Kevin's meager earnings wouldn't interest Evelyn.
Grace was also unlikely due to her relationship with Kevin's mother. Kevin couldn't risk bringing her close, especially with Grace's explosive temper. She was like a wild horse, difficult for most men to handle, only someone like Byron, who was meek and honest, could tolerate her dominance.
Kevin was scolded by Grace the first time they met, realizing her seemingly friendly and easy-going nature was actually prickly and sharp. While she might be fun to be with occasionally, being with her long-term would likely lead to constant arguments and unrest.
Vanessa was never a serious consideration for Kevin. Her ambitions were too great, and she wouldn't settle down with one man. She was more of a casual fling, given her exceptional skills in bed that most women couldn't match.
As Kevin pondered all this, he felt disheartened that none of these women were willing to commit to him wholeheartedly. The main reason was that his relationships with Alissa, Vanessa, Evelyn, and Grace were purely physical, lacking emotional depth. Their differing personalities and values would inevitably lead to conflicts over time.
Even though he had developed feelings for Audrey, they often clashed due to differing opinions. Kevin realized that the age gap between him and these women, who were in the same age group as his mother, or even older in Audrey's case, created a significant generation gap, making communication challenging.
Kevin used to think Albert's pursuit of Laura was childish, preferring mature women over young girls. However, now he considered that having a girlfriend of the same age might be better. At least they would have common topics and wouldn't have to worry about family influences, possibly continuing their relationship into college.
Most importantly, girls of the same age usually had little romantic experience, and except for a few promiscuous ones, most were virgins who had never been in a relationship with the opposite sex.
Kevin didn't have a virginity fetish, but he was inherently selfish and didn't want to share what was his, especially when it came to women. When he helped Albert with Vanessa, it was partly to make up for his affair with Evelyn and partly because Vanessa was promiscuous, and Kevin saw an opportunity to benefit from it.
However, Albert's lack of control led to an embarrassing situation, where he ejaculated upon seeing Vanessa naked, becoming the subject of jokes for a while.
