Chapter 1612
After class, Kimberly hurried out of the classroom, her long legs striding towards the office building, her mind racing. Suddenly, someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turned to see it was Audrey, the homeroom teacher for class 57.
"Kimberly, what’s on your mind? I called you a few times, but you didn’t hear me," Audrey said with a slight smile. "Thinking about Grant?"
"No way," Kimberly blushed. Seeing Audrey's radiant face and smooth skin, she felt a pang of envy. "Ms. Johnson, I heard your husband is back. You look so happy these days."
"Well, it's been okay," Audrey replied vaguely. In truth, she hadn't been intimate with Jason much lately. Instead, she had a threesome with Alissa, and under Alissa's influence, she had become more proactive and passionate, experiencing more intense pleasure. Perhaps that was the allure of a threesome.
But thinking about how she had acted like a slut in bed yesterday, Audrey felt a bit embarrassed. After all, she was Kevin's Audrey. If Bethany found out she had been seducing her son so shamelessly, who knew how she would react—heartbroken or furious?
"I really envy you," Kimberly said jealously. "Unlike me, sleeping alone every night."
"Come on," Audrey quickly said. "Grant just went to West Stream Town. It's not far, just over an hour's drive. It's not like Jason, who is so far away that it takes a whole day by train, and he only comes back for the New Year."
"That's true," Kimberly nodded. Compared to Audrey, she was still fortunate. At least she had something to look forward to, and Grant's move to West Stream Town was a promotion. People around her were very polite. Even if it was just flattery, it still felt good.
"By the way, how's Kevin's English now?" Audrey quickly changed the subject, not wanting to talk about Jason anymore.
"Oh, he's been doing okay lately. He's grasped most of the key points," Kimberly said softly. "But his literary skills need improvement. I tested him in class earlier, and his answers weren't satisfactory. He probably didn't review well over the weekend. But that's normal for boys his age; they're more playful and less focused than girls."
Audrey was taken aback when she remembered how she and Alissa had spent the whole afternoon with Kevin yesterday. She felt partly responsible. It seemed they couldn't be so reckless before exams.
As they chatted, they entered the office building. A male teacher greeted Audrey and Kimberly warmly. As they climbed the stairs, he couldn't help but glance back at their enticing figures, a look of infatuation on his face.
Since Vanessa had transferred to the city office, Audrey and Kimberly had become the most beautiful teachers at Sunset Valley High School. Audrey, with her stunning looks and figure, outshone Kimberly. But her beauty made ordinary men feel inferior, not daring to have any improper thoughts.
The only men who had dared to covet Audrey were Oliver, Quentin, and Christopher. But now, Christopher had reformed after his wife Violet's ordeal, Quentin was in jail, and Oliver had health issues. Audrey's troubles seemed to have vanished. If it weren't for Jason's sudden return, she would still be enjoying her wonderful sex life with Kevin.
'If only Jason hadn't come back...'Audrey thought but quickly felt ashamed of herself. She had already betrayed her husband physically. If she also gave her heart to Kevin, what would be left of her marriage with Jason? She didn't dare think further.
"Kevin, did you play the game I told you about?" Albert asked excitedly during recess. "How was it? Fun, right?"
"It was okay. But with exams coming up, how can you just think about games? If you don't do well, how will you spend your winter break?" Kevin said calmly. The warm winter sun felt comfortable on his skin. For a moment, he wished time could stop, allowing him to remain a carefree high school student, at least not having to part with Audrey.
However, Jason was an insurmountable obstacle between him and Audrey. When Jason wasn't around, Kevin could enjoy Audrey's alluring body. But once Jason returned, he had to revert to his old life, and even Audrey's attitude would change, distancing herself from him. He could only passively endure this change, as Jason was Audrey's lawful husband.
"Hey, it's just finals. My mom said if I make it into the top twenty, she'll take me abroad," Albert said confidently.
Though Lucy always kept him at arm's length, she was very supportive of his studies, often studying with him and supervising his homework at night. It felt like he had a tutor rather than a girlfriend. But the results were evident; his grades had improved significantly, and he was confident about making it into the top twenty for finals. If not, he could always cheat.
"You're something else," Kevin said, a bit envious. Since elementary school, Albert had traveled everywhere with his mom during breaks, both locally and abroad. Unlike him, who had only been to Oceancrest City with Audrey.
But that trip to Oceancrest City was quite enjoyable. They visited Disneyland, watched shows, and had several intimate moments. His relationship with Daisy also progressed. The only regret was not hooking up with the flight attendant he met on the plane. But life couldn't be perfect; he was already satisfied with his numerous affairs with older women.
"Hey, Kevin, why don't you come with us? I'll ask my mom, and she'll be thrilled," Albert said with a grin. "It'll be fun with the two of us. I'll take you to a strip show. I saw videos online; the women have big breasts and round butts. It made me hard just watching. We can each get one and show them what we're made of."
"Yeah, right," Kevin said, rolling his eyes. "You haven't even gotten Lucy yet. Don't aim too high."
"Don't underestimate me," Albert said, his face turning red. He almost mentioned his affair with Elodie but remembered her strict warning to keep it a secret. It was frustrating not being able to brag about such a significant conquest. Finally, he said, "Kevin, you just wait. I'll get Vanessa one day."
Kevin didn't bother arguing. Actions spoke louder than words.
As the break ended, students headed back to class. Kevin suddenly felt a stomachache and rushed to the boys' restroom. Just as he found an empty stall, he heard footsteps and a few people entering.
"Kevin got chewed out by Kimberly. I wonder what he did to piss her off," said Paul, Ivan's sidekick.
"What's the use? Kimberly isn't the homeroom teacher," Ivan replied. "We need to find a way to get Audrey replaced as homeroom teacher, or we'll never have peace."
Kevin smirked. He thought Ivan and Paul had been behaving, but they were still up to no good.
"Ivan, how come you can't handle Kevin?" another voice chimed in. It was Amos, another of Kevin's enemies.
"If you're so great, why don't you do it? Stop talking big," Ivan retorted. "Last time, Kevin kissed Laura right in front of you, and you didn't dare hit him. At least I fought him. You're just a coward."
"I didn't want to stoop to his level," Amos said, his voice faltering. "I'll get Laura back. Just wait and see. She'll be my girlfriend."
Kevin frowned, feeling annoyed. It seemed he needed to teach Amos a lesson.
Suddenly, a boy's laughter echoed outside. "Ivan, what are you guys doing here? Watching adult videos?"
The voice was familiar, but Kevin couldn't place it. It sounded like one of the troublemakers, but the tone suggested he didn't take Ivan seriously.
"Jeremy, what are you doing here?" Ivan snapped.
It was Douglas's brother, Jeremy. Kevin's mind raced. Besides Paul, the boys outside all had grudges against him. Ivan was a given, Amos was because of Laura, and Jeremy was for standing up for Ivan. Plus, Douglas's arrest was partly Kevin's doing. Were they forming some kind of revenge alliance?
