Chapter 337 Sensual Afternoon Nap
At noon after school, Kevin remembered that Audrey had invited him to have lunch at her place. Excitedly, he arrived at Audrey's doorstep. Just as he knocked twice, the door next to Audrey's cracked open, and Christopher peeked out, grinning, "Kevin, here to see your cousin again? You're not going home for lunch either."
Looking at Christopher's annoying face, Kevin wanted to tell him to mind his own business. But then he remembered that Christopher had once given him two tickets to the water park, and since Audrey was his neighbor, he coldly nodded and said, "I'm here for lunch with my cousin."
"Well, that's nice for you, getting a meal as soon as you come back," Christopher sighed, "I'm the unlucky one, working all morning, and still have to cook for myself at noon. By the way, Kevin, what delicious food does your cousin make for you?"
This guy, already thinking about mooching off Audrey's food again, Kevin turned away as if he hadn't heard. Just then, Audrey opened the door, saw Kevin, and smiled, "I was worried you wouldn't come. Come on in, the food is ready."
As she was about to pull Kevin inside, she noticed Christopher looking in their direction and casually asked, "Have you eaten, Kevin?"
Audrey had just asked casually, but Christopher was waiting for her to ask. He immediately pitifully said, "What to eat? Your Elder Sister-in-law is working the day shift and won't be back for lunch. I was just wondering what to eat. How about you, have you eaten?"
Audrey was about to answer when Kevin discreetly tugged at her arm. Audrey glanced at Kevin and suddenly understood Christopher's intentions. After hesitating for a moment, she said, "I've eaten. By the way, Kevin, have you eaten at school?"
"I have." Kevin said loudly, glancing at Christopher. "Cousin, aren't you supposed to help me with my studies? Let's get started quickly; I have classes in the afternoon." With that, he pulled Audrey towards the yard.
Christopher felt frustrated. Although he could smell the delicious food coming from Audrey's house, the siblings had made it clear that he wasn't welcome. Even with his thick skin, he couldn't bring himself to intrude and slinked back home to cook instant noodles.
Audrey led Kevin into the yard, furrowing her brows, "Kevin, is it right for us to do this? I clearly told you the food was ready. Christopher might have heard, and he probably thinks we said it on purpose."
"So what?" Kevin snorted, deliberately speaking loudly, "It's his own fault for not being self-aware. Always barging into other people's homes, how shameless. We shouldn't be too polite to such people."
"Shh, keep your voice down. Don't let Christopher hear you." Audrey scolded Kevin, pulling him quickly into the living room. "He's still our neighbor, we see each other all the time. If you act like this, how am I supposed to deal with him in the future?"
"Then just don't deal with him." Kevin grinned, walking to the dining table, only to be stunned. The table was filled with dishes - braised pork, boiled shrimp, cold beef salad, about seven or eight dishes in total, with two bottles of chilled beer on the side.
"Sis, why such a feast? Can the two of us finish all this?" Kevin looked puzzled at Audrey. "Is today a special day? Is it your birthday? Why didn't you tell me earlier? I'll go buy a birthday cake now."
"Come on, I'm not that young anymore, why celebrate a birthday?" Audrey quickly stopped Kevin, smiling slightly. "You're still growing, and with so much study pressure, eat more to nourish your brain, understand? Now, hurry up and eat."
Kevin was indeed hungry. Seeing the delicious spread before him, he didn't hesitate to sit down and eat heartily. In no time, he had devoured most of the food and drank half of the two beer bottles.
Audrey ate a small bowl of rice with a plate of eggplant and drank a beer. A rosy flush appeared on her fair face. Seeing Kevin had eaten his fill, she got up to clear the table, telling Kevin, "Alright, go rest for a while; you have classes in the afternoon."
Seeing Audrey's radiant face, Kevin's heart fluttered. He walked behind Audrey, hugged her slender waist, and said with a grin, "Sis, I want to sleep with you. I promise not to do anything."
Initially, Kevin was just testing Audrey, but to his surprise, Audrey readily agreed, "Sure, you go to bed first. I'll clean up the kitchen and join you."
Hearing Audrey's quick agreement, Kevin was taken aback. Usually, when he tried to get close to Audrey, she would always dodge. Today was different; had she suddenly changed her mind and was teasing him?
Kevin entered Audrey's bedroom, undressed, leaving only his underwear, and then got into bed, covering himself with a towel. With Audrey's strange behavior today, he felt something was off but couldn't quite put his finger on it.
After a while, Audrey walked in, seeing Kevin lying on the bed staring at her intently. Her face blushed slightly, and she scolded, "What are you looking at? Hurry up and sleep; you said so yourself."
