Chapter 269 The Flirtatious Woman
Audrey Johnson and Kevin were both stunned when they saw Caroline. Audrey had seen her clearly earlier; this beautiful woman was indeed the flirtatious woman she had seen in the forest, and it turned out she was her Elder Sister-in-law.
"This must be Younger brother's wife. Dad has been preparing for your visit," Caroline said with a cheerful smile, her eyes then shifting to Kevin . "Younger brother's wife, whose child is this?"
"Elder Sister-in-law, this is Kevin , my aunt's child. His mom is on a business trip, so I'm taking care of him for a couple of days," Audrey explained with a smile. She then turned to Kevin and said, "Kevin , greet your Elder Sister-in-law."
"Hello, Elder Sister-in-law," Kevin quickly said, his eyes having previously been fixated on her breasts, not her face. Now, taking a closer look, he saw that Caroline had delicate features. Her skin was tanned from labor but had a natural, healthy beauty.
"This boy is quite tall. He must be in his senior year of high school, right?" Caroline asked, smiling charmingly as she looked at the tall teenager. "Come on, I'll take you inside to sit."
She swayed her slender waist as she led them to the main house.
Kevin followed, watching Caroline's round, large buttocks swaying with each step, the flesh jiggling seductively. Suddenly, he felt a chill beside him and saw Audrey glaring at him, making him quickly avert his gaze.
Caroline led them into the main room. Kevin noticed the room was dimly lit, with a brick floor full of pits and depressions. Despite it being midday, the room felt gloomy.
Caroline had them sit on the kang (a traditional heated brick bed), poured them two cups of water, and said with a smile, "Younger brother's wife, Dad has gone out for a walk. He'll be back soon. You two sit tight; I'll go make lunch."
She then left the room, swaying her hips as she went.
After Caroline left, Kevin hesitated and said, "Sis, I think she looks like the woman from the forest earlier. Could it be the same person?"
"Enough, don't talk nonsense. You must have seen wrong," Audrey said sternly, glancing at the door and glaring at Kevin . "You are not to mention this to anyone, understand?"
Her mind was in turmoil. She hadn't expected to catch her Elder Sister-in-law cheating with another man. If this got out, it would be a scandal.
"I understand," Kevin said, startled by Audrey's serious tone. He quickly nodded, although he was still convinced he hadn't been mistaken. The breasts and buttocks looked exactly the same, and even the voice was identical. But since Audrey forbade him from speaking, he suppressed his curiosity.
Audrey, still worried, lowered her voice and said, "Kevin , the countryside is different from the city. Saying the wrong thing here can be dangerous. When we eat, just focus on eating and say nothing. After lunch, we'll leave."
She felt increasingly helpless, unsure how to handle the situation. She couldn't tell her father-in-law or her husband, so she decided to act as if she hadn't seen anything. After lunch, she could report back to her husband and leave this troublesome place.
After about ten minutes, they heard coughing from the courtyard, and a man in his fifties walked in. This was Audrey's father-in-law, Gerald Gray. Audrey quickly stood up and said, "Dad, how's your health? Jason is on a business trip in the south and couldn't come, so I came to check on you."
"Good, good. It's nice to have you back," Gerald said with a smile, looking at Audrey with a hint of helplessness. "You two haven't been married long, and Jason is always away. It must be hard on you."
Audrey then introduced Kevin , explaining his relationship. Gerald, learning that Kevin was a cousin, was pleased and said, "That's good. With Jason away, I worry about you being alone in the city. You two should keep in touch more. Kevin , take good care of your cousin."
"Don't worry, Uncle. My cousin and I are very close. I'll take good care of her," Kevin said with a grin, sneaking a playful look at Audrey. He thought, "Now I have a legitimate reason to visit her more often."
Audrey blushed, knowing Kevin 's intentions. She felt guilty about their relationship, and Gerald's words made her feel even more uneasy. She quickly said, "Dad, we'll go see if we can help in the kitchen."
She pulled Kevin out of the room, whispering, "I’m warning you, don't say anything inappropriate during lunch, or you won't be allowed to visit me again."
"Sis, I'm sorry," Kevin said, alarmed. He grabbed her arm and pleaded, "Please forgive me. I promise I won't say anything."
Audrey sighed, hoping Kevin would keep his promise.
