Chapter 673 Hero Saves the Beauty
Kevin's heart skipped a beat. "This girl really has no taboos, she dares to say anything," he pretended to be surprised and said, "Fiona, you must be joking. How is that possible? I don't have the courage for that."
"What's the big deal? Teacher-student relationships are not such a big deal. It's normal to have a crush on your teacher," Fiona said nonchalantly. "Besides, our school has several beautiful female teachers. It's a pity they are not single; otherwise, you could consider it."
Kevin didn't know if Fiona was joking or testing him. Did she discover something? At school, Kevin was always cautious. When he went to see Alissa, it was always in the guise of representing the Chinese class or receiving tutoring. Although others thought Alissa favored Kevin too much, no one suspected anything because of Alissa's fiery temper.
As for Audrey, everyone knew she was Kevin's cousin, so no one would think in that direction. The only other person, Vanessa, Kevin rarely interacted with at school. In theory, Fiona couldn't have discovered his secret.
"That's just in TV dramas. I have never thought about it like that," Kevin thought to himself. Regardless, he would never admit it. "By the way, do you want some birthday cake? I'll get you a piece."
"I don't eat cake. It's too high in calories. I rarely eat anything at night," Fiona shook her head and blinked, saying, "I couldn't resist that night, so I sneaked out to have barbecue. Usually, I just eat an apple at night."
"Even though you have a great figure, you're still dieting?" Kevin couldn't help but comment. Fiona was about the same height as Laura, but more developed, with a fuller chest, probably similar in size to Lucy's breasts, a slender waist, and long, straight legs. She would definitely turn heads on the street.
"Do you think I have a good figure?" Fiona asked with a light laugh. "Girls with good figures maintain them by not eating. By the way, during the break, can you teach me how to play basketball? I want to exercise properly. Just dieting to lose weight isn't very healthy."
"Sure," Kevin readily agreed. He found Fiona, despite being from an official background, unlike Ivan, very easy to get along with. He also wanted to annoy Ivan. If Ivan knew he and Fiona were getting along well, he would probably be furious.
Meanwhile, the protagonist of the evening, Laura, was feeling down. Ever since Fiona unexpectedly appeared, she had been watching her closely. Seeing Fiona chatting with Kevin, she felt uncomfortable, as if something that belonged to her had been taken away by someone else. But she was also puzzled. Fiona was a sophomore, and her father was the deputy county mayor. How could she know Kevin?
"Alright, I'll leave first so I don't steal the spotlight," Fiona glanced at Laura, smiled slightly, greeted her, and walked towards the door.
"I'll walk you out," Kevin saw Fiona's lonely figure and instinctively walked over, saying.
"Okay." Fiona smiled, her bright and beautiful face causing a stir in Kevin's heart. This girl was truly special, always giving off an indescribable feeling.
As they left the private room and walked outside, they turned a corner and saw a drunken man approaching, blocking their way. Kevin was surprised to see that the man was Douglas.
Seeing a tall and beautiful girl standing in front of him, with a gentle and elegant demeanor, Douglas's eyes lit up. He grinned and said, "Beauty, how old are you? Accompany me for a while, brother won't treat you badly." As he spoke, he reached out to touch Fiona's face.
Fiona's face changed slightly as she stepped back. Kevin quickly stepped forward to stand in front of Fiona and shouted, "Get lost, or I'll call the police."
"Who the hell are you? How dare you try to steal a woman from me," Douglas glared, reaching out to slap Kevin's face. However, being drunk, his movements were slow. Kevin easily dodged his hand and kicked him in the abdomen, knocking Douglas to the ground.
"Douglas, are you okay?" Several men in black clothes quickly ran over from the corridor. Seeing Douglas knocked down, they rushed to teach Kevin a lesson. Kevin tried his best to defend himself, but he was outnumbered. He could only shield Fiona in a corner and endure the punches and kicks.
Fiona's face turned pale. It was the first time she had experienced such a situation. Seeing Kevin protect her instead of running away, she felt an inexplicable emotion. She took out her phone to call the police.
"Stop!" Just as the situation was about to escalate, a woman's voice suddenly rang out in the corridor. Natalie walked over, seeing Kevin surrounded by several men in a corner, being beaten up. She scolded, "Are you looking to die? He's my brother."
"But he just hit Douglas, so we had to do something," one of the men weakly explained.
"We'll settle this later." Natalie, still angry, approached Kevin with concern. "Kevin, are you okay?"
