Two people packed up their things and left the research room together, stepping out of the office building. Audrey glanced towards Class 57 as she walked, noticing that the class had already started. It had been half a month since she left, and she wondered how Kevin would react to the news.

"If it's not working out, maybe it's best to move on," Kevin suggested. He felt Albert's interest in Laura was more about vanity. If Ivan couldn't win Laura over and Albert could, it would prove his superiority. "There are other girls in the class who are nice, like Lucy. I think she's interested in you."
"Really?" Albert pondered for a moment, deciding not to give up easily. "I'll give it another shot. Maybe Laura is just testing me."
As they left the restroom and headed towards the classroom, Laura emerged from the classroom. She was wearing a light blue dress, showcasing her fair legs and a slight bulge in her chest. Her charming and youthful appearance captivated both Kevin and Albert. Laura truly lived up to her reputation as the school goddess, effortlessly standing out from the crowd.

Her charming demeanor made Kevin's heart flutter, but he remembered Albert might be watching from the classroom. He restrained his emotions and said calmly, "It's not necessary. Your mom is too kind. Besides, I'm busy with studying over the weekend." With that, he headed back towards the classroom.
Laura didn't expect Kevin to so bluntly refuse her invitation. As the school goddess and the principal's daughter, she was used to being adored by countless boys. This cold treatment was a first for her, and she felt a mix of anger and frustration. However, she remembered Kevin had saved her, so she couldn't lash out at him.
