Chapter 312: Mind-Boggling
Kevin's mouth went dry as he looked at Audrey. In fact, the outfit she was wearing wasn't more revealing than what she usually wore to school, and it paled in comparison to Vanessa's provocative style. It was just that Audrey's stunning beauty and tall figure were enough to attract most men's attention without showing too much skin. Her natural allure exuded a mature charm that was far from vulgar or seductive. For a young man like Kevin, it was an irresistible temptation.
Seeing Kevin's intense gaze on her, Audrey displayed a hint of shyness on the outside, but inside, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Subconsciously, she twirled in front of Kevin and asked, "How does this dress look?"
Earlier, when she was picking out clothes in the bedroom, she had initially planned to wear a T-shirt and jeans. However, feeling that jeans would be too hot, she decided to opt for a dress instead. This particular dress was one she had bought but never worn before. Considering it was her first time going out with Kevin, Audrey wanted to surprise him by wearing it. She realized that she hadn't put so much thought into dressing up for a while. Could it be that she had developed feelings for Kevin beyond those of a sister or a teacher?
Kevin greedily eyed Audrey's well-proportioned figure. Her cool and proud face, with delicate eyebrows and captivating black and white eyes, appeared even more enchanting. Her naturally rosy and smooth complexion resembled a ripe peach, tempting one to take a bite. Her small, red lips revealed a set of pearly white teeth, inviting exploration. Her long, black hair was simply tied back, exposing her fair and smooth neck, leading down to her mesmerizing curves that left countless men spellbound.
"Beautiful, too beautiful..." Kevin couldn't help but swallow hard. Seeing Audrey's peach-like beauty and sensual figure, he struggled to find the right words to describe her. Terms like 'alluring beauty' seemed too cliché. Perhaps only 'natural beauty' could capture Audrey's charm. If Audrey were to enter a global beauty pageant, she would easily make it to the top three.
Having seen past beauty pageant winners, Kevin knew that none of them could compare to Audrey in terms of looks or figure. Unfortunately, Audrey was just a modest school teacher in this small town. Kevin couldn't help but wonder if this was a stroke of luck or misfortune for a woman with such exceptional assets.
Seeing Kevin's eyes fixed on her, Audrey smiled gently, adjusted the folds of her dress at the chest, a gesture that was irresistibly enticing. She teasingly said to Kevin, "Is 'beautiful' the only word you know? I wonder how Mrs. Garcia teaches you English. Seems like you've wasted your time learning it."
Kevin blushed slightly. Normally, when writing compositions at school, he was always eloquent and rarely at a loss for words. But today, facing a meticulously dressed Audrey, he felt a sense of inadequacy.
"Alright, I'm ready. We can head out now."
Seeing Kevin looking a bit embarrassed, Audrey felt quite pleased. She walked over, took Kevin's hand, and headed towards the front gate.
As they passed by Christopher's house, Kevin suddenly felt like someone was peeking from the doorway. He couldn't help but glance over, but found nothing. He thought maybe he was mistaken. Christopher couldn't possibly be lurking at the door all day spying on Audrey. However, having a neighbor like Christopher made Kevin uneasy. If only Audrey could stay at his house, but his mother might not agree.
As the two walked out of the alley, the door of Christopher's house opened slightly. Christopher peeked out, a hint of jealousy in his eyes. Earlier, when he had returned home and thought about Audrey being playfully handled by Kevin, he couldn't help but get excited. He indulged in his desires but also felt a growing longing for Audrey.
However, seeing Kevin and Audrey leaving the alley, Christopher found it strange. Where were the two of them going in broad daylight, especially with Audrey dressed so attractively? Could they be planning to have a rendezvous outside instead of staying at home? Kevin seemed to be quite adept at charming women. Christopher couldn't help but feel envious. Why didn't he have a seductive cousin like Audrey back when he was in school?
With a quick decision, Christopher closed the door and hurriedly followed them. It seemed like he wanted to track Kevin and Audrey. But when Christopher caught up on the main street, he saw Kevin and Audrey boarding a bus. The bus headed east with an advertisement for a water park on its side. Christopher was dumbfounded. So, Kevin and Audrey were going to the water park. Damn it. He had personally given those two tickets, intending for Kevin to go with his classmates. He never expected Kevin to go with his cousin.
The thought of Kevin and Audrey frolicking in the water made Christopher furious. He had inadvertently made a mess of things. If only he had given the tickets directly to Audrey. Kevin was such a little jerk. Christopher fumed at the thought. His tracking intentions vanished. Seeing a watermelon rind on the ground, he kicked it away as if it were Kevin's head. Unfortunately, it landed near a woman passing by, almost causing her to slip. The woman furrowed her brows and scolded Christopher, "Are you blind? Can't you see people?"
Christopher's mood wasn't great, but upon seeing the woman's face, he was left speechless.
