Chapter 1555

"Who does this guy think he is, kissing Laura like that? Doesn't he know her dad's the principal? This is insane!" a girl, utterly clueless about the situation, stared wide-eyed and open-mouthed, completely shocked by what she was seeing.

"How could this happen?" a boy looked utterly devastated, like he could barely breathe.

Laura, sixteen years old, 5-feet-5, 86 pounds, with measurements of 30-24-34 inches and legs that seemed to go on forever, was the second most beautiful girl at Sunset Valley High, right after the student council president, Fiona. She was a talented violinist and incredibly popular among the students. It was safe to say that two-thirds of the boys at Sunset Valley High had once considered Laura their dream girlfriend.

But now, Laura was being forcefully kissed. Several boys who were infatuated with her were enraged, ready to step in and play the hero.

"No...Kevin...not here." Laura hadn't expected Kevin to be so bold, kissing her in front of everyone. She instinctively tried to struggle, but Kevin's strong arms held her close. The scent of his cologne made her heart flutter, and she soon found herself melting into his embrace, closing her eyes shyly and letting Kevin's lips press against hers.

Across from them, Amos watched Kevin kiss Laura and felt a surge of satisfaction. He had intended to provoke Kevin into doing something rash. Even if Laura was dating Kevin, she was still the principal's daughter and would surely be embarrassed by such public affection. But to his surprise, Laura didn't resist at all; she seemed completely willing.

Amos’s jaw dropped. This wasn’t a forced kiss; it was a public display of affection between a couple.

Lucy, standing closest to the scene, had the best view. She watched as Kevin kissed Laura passionately, even slipping his tongue into her mouth. Her heart raced, her face flushed, and her ears burned, as if she were the one being kissed.

Kevin was infuriating. Yesterday, he had slapped her butt, and today he was kissing Laura right in front of her. But Laura was his girlfriend, so why was she feeling jealous? Lucy stared at the scene, feeling a pang of sadness.

From the second-floor railing, Ivan watched Kevin holding Laura, gripping the cold metal tightly. Ever since he had fought Kevin in freshman year, his dominance at Sunset Valley High had been slipping. He lost the class president position, Laura, and even Fiona seemed to favor Kevin, who had become the student council’s publicity officer.

In every confrontation with Kevin, Ivan had been defeated. He couldn’t understand why so many people supported Kevin—Alissa, Audrey, Laura, Fiona, even his own mother, Willow, had advised him not to go against Kevin. It made no sense to him.

If Ivan knew that his mother, Willow, had offered herself to Kevin, he would have lost his mind.

“Kevin is really bold.”

On the outskirts of the crowd, Samuel, Carl, and Albert were all stunned. Samuel and Carl knew Kevin and Laura were close but didn’t know the full extent of their relationship. Albert, however, was fully aware. Seeing the girl he once liked being kissed by his friend was painful.

Lucy was sweet, but she wasn’t his first choice. Laura was the girl he had always dreamed of. He consoled himself with the thought that at least Laura chose Kevin and not Ivan, which would have been even more upsetting.

Not far away, Yara watched Kevin intently, admiring his audacity to kiss Laura in front of everyone. How would she react if he ever did that to her? Pretend to struggle or just let it happen like Laura?

She had hinted at her feelings to Kevin, but he played dumb. Laura was pretty, but so was she, and she had a better figure. Why wouldn’t he accept her? She wouldn’t even make him commit. Behind her, a short boy named Andy watched, admiring Kevin's boldness. If only he had a fraction of Kevin’s courage, maybe Yara would say yes to him. He resolved to be more like Kevin and finally kiss Yara.

Fiona stood under a sycamore tree outside the small auditorium, hands in her pockets, observing the commotion from a distance with a faint smile.

Kevin sure knew how to make a scene, kissing the principal’s daughter in public. But it wasn’t surprising. Last semester, he had crashed her birthday party with a dare to propose to her, ruining Ivan’s carefully planned confession. If she had accepted his proposal, Ivan would have been furious.

As the daughter of the County Executive, Fiona had a broader perspective than most students. She read deep literature and thought on a different level. While she had some feelings for Kevin, she wasn’t caught up in romantic drama. There were more interesting things in life than dating, and her current goal was to get into college and make her parents proud, so she could pursue her own interests without any burdens.

But seeing Laura nearly swoon from Kevin's kiss piqued Fiona's curiosity. What was kissing like? Books could answer most questions, but some things needed to be experienced. A high school life without a kiss felt incomplete, yet she couldn't just give her first kiss to anyone. It had to be someone she found appealing.

So, who at Sunset Valley High did Fiona find appealing?

Sean, not far away, watched Kevin surrounded by the crowd, kissing the school’s most beautiful girl, Laura, with envy. He wished he could be like Kevin, openly showing his feelings. Could he ever confess his feelings for Audrey?

Yesterday, in Audrey’s office, he had felt a strong urge to kiss her, even if it meant getting slapped. But he lacked the courage to take that risk. He cursed himself for being afraid. He wasn’t afraid of anything else, so why couldn’t he kiss Audrey? Maybe she was waiting for him to make a move.

Feeling a sudden surge of determination, Sean looked up at the second floor of the office building with a burning gaze. Inspired by Kevin, he decided to take a risk. Even if Audrey sent him to the Student Affairs Office, he was going to kiss her!

Unaware of the commotion he had caused, Kevin remained absorbed in the passionate kiss with Laura, savoring the taste of her sweet lips and soft tongue.

Laura, though she had kissed Kevin before, had never done so in front of so many people. She felt incredibly embarrassed and wanted to escape, but Kevin’s kiss made her head spin. She couldn’t think of anything else, lost in the pleasure of the moment.

She wrapped her arms around Kevin's neck, her tongue intertwining with his, her face flushed and her breathing heavy. Her chest pressed against his, and a warm sensation bloomed in her lower abdomen.

This was too much. They were at school, with so many teachers and students watching, and even Oliver was there. If Daisy found out, she'd be in big trouble. It was all Kevin’s fault. They had agreed to keep their relationship a secret, and now the whole world knew.

Just then, a tall, imposing figure appeared at the back of the crowd, speaking coldly, "What are you all doing? Class is about to start. Get to your classrooms."

A student, engrossed in the scene, replied without thinking, "None of your business. Ms. Turner!"

Elodie glared at the student, her face stern. She wore a dark gray business suit that barely contained her ample figure. Her skirt was stretched tight over her hips, and the buttons on her blouse strained against her chest. Her thick legs were encased in black tights, and she wore black shoes. With her black-framed glasses, she looked like a strict, no-nonsense teacher from a comic book, evoking no desire in the students.

The student, terrified, nearly wet himself and ran upstairs, while the others quickly dispersed at the sight of Elodie.
