Chapter 153 The Power of a Woman's Charm
Oliver wasn't about to give up. Audrey was the kind of woman any guy would want to chase and win over. He couldn't help but wonder who'd be the lucky guy to finally win her heart and have her willingly offer her sensual and alluring body.
In the dimly lit private room of Imperial Bar, Kevin couldn't hold back any longer. His head jerked as he came, thick streams of semen spilling into Natalie's hand. Panting, he watched as Natalie, the seductive bar owner, smiled and grabbed some tissues to clean him up. He couldn't figure out why she'd do this for him. Was it just because he mentioned Fiona?
"All done, little brother. Satisfied now?" Natalie said, tossing the tissues into the trash. She smiled and added, "I've got some stuff to take care of. You head back to the room. I'll have the waiter bring some wine over later." With that, she left like it was no big deal.
Kevin walked out of the private room and headed back to Room 201. The moment Albert saw him, he shouted, "Kevin , where'd you go? We've been waiting forever. Come on, spill it. Did you get distracted by some hottie next door?"
"Oh, just went to the restroom. Just got back," Kevin replied casually, not mentioning his run-in with Fiona and Ivan to keep the vibe chill.
After a bit more goofing around, everyone got bored and went back to singing. Albert picked a duet and, with a grin, asked, "Who wants to sing with me?"
He kept glancing at Laura.
Laura sat perfectly still, showing no intention of getting up. Albert felt a bit awkward until the girl labeled as Number 2 stood up and said, "I'll sing with you. I know this song." She grabbed the mic from the table.
Albert was bummed at first, but then he realized Number 2, despite her average looks, had an amazing voice. Soon, he forgot his disappointment and got totally into the song.
Meanwhile, Kevin was lost in his own thoughts. Ivan was clearly after Fiona, but Natalie seemed to have some connection with Ivan. Did Fiona notice or was she just pretending not to? Whatever, their drama wasn't his problem. His mind was on Audrey. What was she doing right now? Was she already asleep or lying in bed, feeling lonely and restless?
"Kevin , why aren't you singing?" Laura suddenly found the courage to talk to him, noticing his daze. "What are you thinking about?"
"Oh, nothing. Just feeling a bit dizzy. Maybe I drank too much beer," Kevin said, startled. He hadn't expected Laura to talk to him. Glancing at Albert, who was engrossed in his duet with Number 2, he felt relieved. He didn't want Albert to get the wrong idea.
"If you can't handle alcohol, you shouldn't drink so much. My mom says drinking is bad for the brain and can damage memory," Laura said, blushing. "She never lets me drink. She even reminded me not to touch alcohol before I came here."
"Your mom cares about you," Kevin replied, his mind flashing back to the image of Daisy Davis, Laura's mother, with her full, mature body, ample breasts, round buttocks, and long, slender legs. Her elegant demeanor exuded a unique charm that made him want to conquer her.
What was wrong with him? Kevin felt a pang of guilt. He had already been with Albert's mother, and now he was fantasizing about Laura's mother. Did he have some Oedipus complex?
"But sometimes I don't want that kind of care," Laura said, looking troubled. "I've always done what my mom says, never doing what I like. Even playing the violin was something she forced me to do. I don't even like it."
"Oh, but I think your mom is really nice. She's beautiful and gentle," Kevin said with a smile.
"That's only in front of others. You haven't seen her when she's angry," Laura pouted. "She often made me cry during violin practice, and even my dad is sometimes afraid of her temper."
Kevin was surprised to hear about Daisy's fierce side. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought of a principal being scolded by his wife, but he said, "She just wants you to grow up well. Look at you; you are always at the top of the class. That's thanks to her guidance. We all envy you."
They chatted a bit more until Laura, somewhat shyly, asked, "Kevin , do you have a girl you like?"
"Uh, well..." Kevin was caught off guard, scratching his head, unsure how to respond. Was Laura interested in him? But hadn't she already agreed to be with Albert? What was going on?
Just as Kevin was about to say no, Albert plopped down beside him, clapping him on the shoulder. "Hey, what are you doing hiding here? Sing. Someone asked for you."
He pointed to Number 2, who was smiling and waving at Kevin . Grateful for the escape, Kevin quickly got up and started singing, occasionally glancing at Albert chatting with Laura, who seemed somewhat distant. Did Laura not like Albert after all?
After another hour of fun, the group initially intended to continue for a bit longer. However, Laura announced that it was late and her mother would be angry if she didn't head home. The group decided to call it a night and left Imperial Bar, splitting into small groups. Only Kevin , Albert, Laura, and another girl remained at the entrance.
"Kevin , you take Delilah home. I'll take Laura," Albert said, whispering in Kevin 's ear with a grin. "Delilah's pretty nice too. Big boobs, nice ass. If you like her, go for it."
Delilah, the straightforward Number 2, seemed like Albert's way of ensuring Kevin didn't feel left out.
Kevin laughed, "Stop it. You go ahead and take Laura home."
With that, he and Delilah left together.
