Chapter 1683
Kevin sat in the arcade, playing video games, when he suddenly sneezed a few times and felt his ears getting warm. Despite the hotel's strong air conditioning, it was still winter, and he was only in swim trunks and a bathrobe. Sitting still made him shiver.
Just moments ago, he had been goofing off with Patty in front of a crowd. Patty, all red-faced, had stormed off in a huff. With no one to hang out with, Kevin found it dull. Where else could he go to have some fun?
Should he head outside to join Laura and Lucy in the hot springs? Kevin shook his head. If it were just Laura, they could have a blast, but with Lucy in the mix, it wouldn't be as exciting.
Should he track down Cynthia? Or leave her for Albert to handle?
Evelyn? Kevin hesitated. In the end, he let go of that tempting idea. Since he had decided to part ways with her, he needed to stick to it and not waver.
He regretted not inviting Audrey along. If she were here now, he could be enjoying her amazing company. He wondered what Audrey was up to—was she burning the midnight oil at the office or catching some Z's at home?
Kevin left the arcade and spotted a private theater up ahead. He strolled in and found a row of semi-private booths with a big screen and two comfy leather sofas where you could pick a movie.
He settled into a seat, stretched out on the sofa, and grabbed the remote to choose a movie to kill time. Just as he started watching "The Ring," he heard the door creak open nearby, signaling someone's arrival. He turned to look, but the theater was dimly lit, and he couldn't make out anything.
Did he mishear something? Kevin was puzzled but kept his eyes on the movie. As the story unfolded, he was completely absorbed. When Sadako crawled out of the TV screen, he was on edge. Just as the tension peaked, a woman's eerie voice called out his name. He felt a cold hand on his shoulder.
"Ah!" Kevin screamed in terror, leaping up from the leather chair, flailing his arms as if trying to ward off something spooky.
In the darkness, a figure tumbled to the ground with a soft groan.
Kevin was taken aback. Weren't ghosts supposed to float around? How could they fall? Peering closer, he realized it was Evelyn on the floor. Hurrying over, he asked, "Evelyn, are you alright? What happened?"
Frowning, Evelyn murmured, "I'm okay, just tweaked my leg a bit."
Kevin gently helped Evelyn up, supporting her slender waist. But as she tried to stand, her injured leg caused her pain, almost sending her back down.
"Evelyn, stay put," Kevin said swiftly. "Let me carry you back to the room." He crouched down, offering his back for her to lean on.
With her arms around Kevin's neck, Evelyn's delicate frame rested against his broad back. Feeling his warmth, memories of their past encounters flooded her mind, leaving her feeling conflicted.
She had woken up from a nap feeling restless and decided to watch a movie to kill time. Spotting Kevin in the dark, she went to greet him, startling him in the process. Accidentally colliding with a pillar, she hurt her leg.
Kevin held Evelyn close as he carried her, her curves pressing against him. Recollections of their intimate moments raced through his mind, stirring up desire. Despite Evelyn's kindness, guilt gnawed at him for Albert.
But some actions, once taken, couldn't be undone.
As Kevin carried Evelyn's soft, warm body, they made their way back to the room in silence. Their bodies close, memories of their passionate past flooded back. The shared intimacies, the fervor, the release—how could they forget?
A blush tinted Evelyn's cheeks as desire stirred within her. Uncertain of how to broach the subject with Kevin, it seemed words were unnecessary now.
In the room, Kevin gently settled Evelyn on the sofa and inspected the cut on her ankle. It was superficial, a small scratch that had already clotted, oozing a bit of blood against her smooth skin, giving it a stark contrast."I'll grab some antiseptic," Kevin said, digging through a small first aid kit in the living room. Finding alcohol wipes, he knelt down, placing Evelyn's foot on his knee, and carefully cleaned the wound on her leg. Watching Kevin's focused expression, Evelyn leaned back against the sofa, her hands supporting her, her ample chest subtly accentuated. Her eyes held a mix of tenderness and passion, her face radiating desire.
Though the wound was minor, the alcohol stung, causing Evelyn to let out a soft groan. She furrowed her brow, tensing her toes, prompting Kevin to pause and look up at her. Her affectionate gaze and enticing demeanor stirred desire within him. Suppressing his impulses, he calmly said, "Hang in there, Evelyn. Almost done."
"It's fine, keep going. I won't make a peep," Evelyn nodded gently, adjusting her position, relaxing into the soft cushions.
Kevin resumed disinfecting the wound, circling around it without touching. Despite the discomfort, Evelyn's foot twitched involuntarily under the sensation. He had to hold her delicate foot, feeling its smooth, cool texture.
Evelyn's skin was the softest he had ever felt, even softer than Audrey's. It wasn't just fair but had a translucent quality like jade. Especially when unclothed, her body exuded a delicate allure, tempting any man to possess her.
Her feet were flawless, each toe resembling a piece of ivory art. The skin on the arch of her foot was so delicate that the faint outline of blood vessels could be seen, inviting admiration. It was true elegance.
With Patty, Albert, Laura, and Lucy all absent, only Kevin and Evelyn remained in the room. Having been intimate before, an unspoken tension hung between them, stirring restlessness.
Taking a deep breath, Kevin pushed down his desires. Out of respect for his friendship with Albert, he couldn't allow anything to happen with Evelyn again, or he'd be a total jerk.
As he carefully tended to the wound, the living room fell into an eerie silence, almost as if their heartbeats and breaths were the only sounds. Kevin's palms grew sweaty with nerves.
Suddenly, Kevin applied too much pressure, causing Evelyn to wince in pain. She bit her lip to suppress any noise, but her leg jerked, accidentally brushing against Kevin's groin. Her toes lightly grazed his bulge through his thin swim trunks.
Already consumed by desire, Kevin couldn't resist the temptation. His arousal surged, and he firmly held Evelyn's ankle, using his bulge to tease her soft foot.
"Evelyn!" Evelyn blushed, her body trembling slightly as she felt Kevin's heat against her foot. Her heart raced as if they were back in the bathroom, facing each other naked for the first time. After a moment, she relaxed, biting her lip as she gazed at Kevin, gently rubbing his bulge with the sole of her foot.
Kevin felt his arousal intensify, unable to resist Evelyn's teasing foot. He met Evelyn's gaze, captivated by her flushed cheeks, seductive eyes, and a white camisole nightgown barely containing her ample chest. Her D-cup bra accentuated her breasts on her petite frame, giving off a youthful and busty vibe.
In their past encounters, Kevin's favorite position was holding Evelyn close, moving around the room intimately. Her petite form nestled against him like a kitten, stirring protective and caring instincts. Despite similar experiences with other women, none evoked the same sense of tenderness and connection as Evelyn.
"Evelyn, what's got your attention?" Feeling flustered by Kevin's gaze, Evelyn blinked and asked in a soft, enchanting voice.
"Nothing," Kevin stammered, "I'm really sorry, Evelyn. I didn't realize it was you."
"It's fine, my bad. I shouldn't have tapped your shoulder like that," Evelyn's eyes held a hint of playfulness. "Who knew you were so focused? Do I really look like a ghost sneaking up on you?"
