"Where are we going, sis?"
Kevin looked at his glamorous cousin beside him, feeling inexplicably happy. Today was the happiest moment he had experienced during this break.
"I want to go to Aunt Bethany's shop. Do you know where it is?" Audrey thought for a moment and asked.

Audrey called Bethany to confirm the address and then hailed a taxi. As they sat in the back seat, they fell into a moment of silence. Kevin saw Audrey's hand next to him and tentatively moved his hand closer, touching her hand lightly. Audrey didn't react.
Feeling bolder, Kevin slowly held his cousin's smooth and tender hand, observing her reaction anxiously, afraid she would get angry. But Audrey didn't even look at him, continuing to chat with the driver. Kevin felt elated, thinking that his cousin had tacitly accepted his actions.
He held Audrey's hand for a while, then his gaze fell on her alluring, snow-white, and shapely legs. Unable to resist, he placed his hand on her thigh and gently caressed it, feeling the smoothness and delicacy of her skin. His heart raced as he subconsciously slid his hand towards her thigh.

Soon, the taxi arrived at their destination. Reluctantly, Kevin withdrew his hand to pay the fare. However, Audrey stopped him, frowning at the meter in front of her.
"Driver, the fare seems off. We've only been on the road for ten minutes, and you're asking for thirty-five dollars. Is there something wrong with your meter?" Audrey questioned.
The driver impatiently replied, "How is that possible? I didn't set the meter myself. Miss, you're dressed so stylishly, why haggle over such a small amount? Fine, I won't ask for more. Just give me thirty dollars."
Audrey coldly stated, "Thirty? I'll give you ten dollars at most. Otherwise, I'll call the transportation authority to complain. You decide." She picked up her phone, ready to make the call.
Seeing Audrey's determination, the driver panicked and quickly said, "Forget it, forget it. I'll take the loss. Ten dollars it is."
As Audrey and Kevin got off the taxi, Audrey expressed her anger, "That driver was so unreasonable. He probably thought we were not from the city, so he overcharged us. We should report him and teach him a lesson."
Kevin watched his cousin, feeling a sense of unfamiliarity. Audrey had changed in the past month, not just in appearance but also in her demeanor. She seemed more assertive than before. He wondered what had happened during her trip to Starhaven to make her this way.
Bethany's boutique was located at the intersection. The shop was almost fully renovated, with workers still installing chandeliers and baseboards inside.
As Audrey and Kevin entered the clothing store, the strong smell of paint hit them. The shop was spacious, with no shelves yet, giving it an empty feel.
Bethany emerged from the warehouse at the back, warmly welcoming Audrey and asking for her opinion on the store's renovation.
"I can't offer much advice," Audrey sincerely praised the newly renovated store. "Aunt, you're amazing. When you told me you were opening a store in the city, I thought you were joking. I didn't expect you to open it so quickly. This location looks great."
Bethany sighed, "I mortgaged our house back home. If this clothing store doesn't do well, my son and I will end up on the streets."
"Aunt, I believe you will succeed," Audrey smiled. "Kids nowadays are pampered, and parents are willing to spend. They are also very brand-conscious. The city definitely has more foot traffic than our town. As long as you choose the right brand, your business will thrive."
"That's good to hear. This was a spur-of-the-moment decision. I'm surprised myself," Bethany said resolutely. "Regret won't help now. I have to push forward. It's either success or failure."
Due to the noisy construction in the store, the three of them had to step outside onto the main road. Bethany looked at the luggage Audrey was carrying and suggested, "Audrey, you've had a long day. "Sure, Aunt. You focus on your work. I'll take care of Kevin," Audrey said with a smile, glancing at Kevin. "Kevin, listen, if you misbehave, I'll tell Aunt."
Kevin looked dejected but secretly delighted. With his mother away, it was just him and his cousin at home. He could now enjoy a happy time with her.
After bidding farewell to Bethany, they boarded the 13 bus back home. It was already past 8 p.m., and the bus was nearly empty. Audrey and Kevin sat in the last row, holding hands and whispering sweet nothings. Their faces were filled with smiles, a stark contrast to the tense atmosphere a month ago when Kevin had seen Audrey off at the station.
"Kevin, I feel like you've lost a lot of weight in the past month," Audrey observed Kevin's face and frowned. "You look so haggard. Have you been staying up late playing games on the computer Aunt bought for you?"
"No, I only played for a while when I first got it. I dismantled the computer a few days ago. You'll see when we get back," Kevin replied somewhat guiltily. He had been intimate with Natalie almost every day this week, for hours on end. Despite his improved stamina, he was physically drained. "That's good. You're still growing, so don't overexert yourself," Audrey gently touched Kevin's head. "You must go to bed before 10 p.m. from now on, understood?"
"I got it, sis," Kevin chuckled. He then leaned his head on Audrey's chest, sighed deeply, and said, "Sis, it's so good to have you back."
Feeling the weight of the boy's head on her chest, Audrey was about to push him away. But upon hearing Kevin's words, she softened and let him rest against her, sighing, "Kevin, have you been resenting me during this time?"
"No," Kevin lay his head on Audrey's soft and full chest, inhaling her enticing scent. He felt content and all his previous grievances towards Audrey had dissipated. "Sis, I understand you. I was too petty. I won't make you angry like that again."
"Is that so?" Audrey chuckled. "You've said that before, but you never followed through. How can I trust you?"
"I will definitely do it this time," Kevin sat up straight, raised his hand, and solemnly declared, "Sis, I swear to God. If I upset you again, let thunder strike me down..."
"Alright, stop talking," Audrey quickly covered Kevin's mouth with her hand, her eyes filled with affection. "I believe you."
"Sis, I miss you so much," Kevin held Audrey's fair and soft hand, gently kissing the back of it. His eyes, filled with desire, gazed at her enchanting face. "I miss you so much it's driving me crazy."
