Chapter 1587
Jason took a deep drag from his cigarette, then turned back towards the living room. He saw Audrey emerging from the bathroom, her face flushed and stunning. The light streaming through the window highlighted her tall, graceful figure and smooth, glowing skin. She looked like an angel, yet exuded the allure of a goddess, leaving Jason momentarily spellbound.
"Hey, Jason, what do you want to eat? I'll cook," Audrey offered, noticing Jason's lingering gaze. She felt a pang of guilt and avoided his eyes, especially since she had just been with Kevin in the bathroom.
"Anything's fine. By the way, I'm thinking of inviting some classmates over for lunch," Jason said curtly. "I'll head out to grab some groceries now. You can tidy up the house in the meantime."
"Okay. I'll change my clothes first," Audrey replied, turning towards the bedroom. She felt a warm sensation in her lower body, with Kevin's semen still slowly trickling, and her buttocks still a bit warm.
Jason went to the market and bought beef, chicken, and some vegetables. When he returned home, he saw Audrey mopping the floor while Kevin stood on a stool, sweating as he cleaned the living room windows. They were chatting and laughing, looking very close. Jason couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy, thinking Audrey seemed much more enthusiastic with Kevin than with him.
But Jason quickly dismissed his jealousy, reminding himself that he had been away a lot in recent years, and Kevin had been living with them for quite some time. It was understandable that Audrey and Kevin had grown closer. Besides, having Kevin around was better than letting some other man take advantage of the situation.
By ten in the morning, Jason's high school classmates started arriving—a total of seven. Except for two who ran their own businesses, the rest were office workers. They settled on the couch, chatting boisterously.
"Jason, it's been ages since we heard from you. You didn't even show up for the reunion during the holidays," one man said with a grin. "I thought you had forgotten about us."
"No way," Jason quickly handed him a cigarette, smiling apologetically. "I've been in New York City these past few years and only come back for a few days during the holidays. I have to visit relatives too, so I really don't have much time. I just got back yesterday and immediately set up this lunch for you guys. You're the ones who forgot about me."
"Hey, Jason, you've been in New York City for so long. You must have struck it rich," another classmate asked curiously. "Is it true that you can make big money there? How much have you made?"
"It's alright," Jason said awkwardly, trying to be vague. "It's definitely better than working in Harmony County. There're a lot of opportunities in New York City. You'll see if you ever go there."
"We're just not ambitious enough, stuck in this small town," one man said enviously. "Jason, if you become a big boss, don't forget about us."
"Don't worry, I'm not that kind of person," Jason said, feeling a bit proud. He seized the opportunity to bring up his main point. "Actually, I came across a fantastic business opportunity. If you're interested, you can join in."
"Really? What’s this great opportunity?" The classmates all looked intrigued.
Jason was about to explain when Audrey walked over with a fruit platter, smiling. "Here, enjoy some fruit first. The food will be ready soon."
"Thanks," said a short, skinny classmate, his eyes lingering on Audrey's tall, enticing figure. Despite the dark-colored outfit she had chosen for the guests, her impressive form was still evident. Her full breasts pressed against the fabric, and her curvy hips and slim waist created a perfect hourglass shape.
The other male classmates couldn't help but let their eyes wander over Audrey's body, reluctantly looking away only when she returned to the kitchen.
"Jason, you're really lucky. Your wife's even more stunning than when you first got married," the short, skinny classmate said with a grin. "If I had such a gorgeous wife, I wouldn't want to leave her alone. Aren't you worried about someone else making a move?"
"Jason, you should keep an eye on Stan. I saw him eyeballing your wife like a hawk. He's definitely got some thoughts," another classmate chimed in.
The men all laughed, and Jason didn't mind. They often joked around like this, and Stan Owens, in particular, had been a close friend since elementary school. He wouldn't take it seriously.
Audrey, busy in the kitchen, frowned as she listened to the laughter from the living room. She never liked noisy gatherings and rarely gossiped with other female teachers at school. Since Jason left, she had never hosted guests at home. Today, there were so many people, most of whom she didn't know, except for Stan, whom she had met a few times.
She saw the living room filled with smoke as Jason and his friends smoked and chatted loudly. She hated the smell of smoke but couldn't say anything since they were Jason's guests. She turned the kitchen exhaust fan to the highest setting and quickly went to Kevin's room. Seeing him doing homework, she handed him a hundred-dollar bill. "Kevin, there are too many people at home for lunch. Go eat out and do your homework at Laura's or your place. It's too noisy here. Come back in the evening."
"Okay, Audrey," Kevin said, packing his bag. He had been annoyed by the men's bragging all morning. They all acted like big shots but couldn't even get a decent job. He didn't understand why Jason invited them over, making him clean the windows for half a day. If it weren't for the morning's intimate moment with Audrey, he wouldn't have bothered.
Feeling frustrated that his weekend with Audrey was ruined, Kevin couldn't help but hug her from behind, his hands fondling her breasts and his erection pressing against her. "Audrey, I don't want to leave you."
"Alright, alright," Audrey said softly, feeling Kevin's erect penis. "Didn't I let you have your way this morning? Wait until tonight, okay? Be good."
Kevin brushed his lips against Audrey's before taking his leave. He felt a surge of confidence, noting the marked improvement in her disposition, particularly given her acquiescence to his intimacy that morning. It was a clear indication of her softening towards him, a distinct advantage in his silent rivalry with Jason.
Once Kevin was gone, Audrey occupied herself in the kitchen until well after midday, then began setting the table.
"Here, let me give you a hand," Stan offered, swiftly intercepting a plate from her. His fingers grazed hers, sending a jolt of electricity through him. The sight of her generous cleavage nearly caused him to drop the dish.
The group assembled around the table, and a beaming Jason presented the wine he'd recently purchased. "Just a quick word, everyone. We've been classmates for over a decade now. Haven't made it to many of these reunions, and I apologize for that. Today, let's raise a glass and drink our fill."
"Now you're talking, Jason," Stan said, lifting his glass. "I'd like to add something, too. Audrey's been working like a dog all day. Let's toast to her first."
"To Audrey!" the others chimed in, raising their glasses in Audrey's direction. She hesitated, reluctant to partake, but Jason's encouraging smile swayed her. "Honey, it's a celebration. Just one drink."
Audrey reluctantly took a sip, the potent alcohol scorching her throat and triggering a coughing fit, tears welling in her eyes.
"Here, Audrey, have something to eat. This stuff is pretty strong," Stan said, quickly offering her a plate of food.
A classmate, tinged with envy, remarked, "Someone's trying to score some brownie points. Jason's wife doesn't need you waiting on her hand and foot. He's right here, you know. Aren't you worried he'll knock your block off?"
"Buzz off, will ya? Don't be a troublemaker. Jason and I go way back. We're like brothers," Stan retorted with a grin. "Right, Jason?"
"Damn straight," Jason laughed, a touch of pride swelling in his chest. Despite the hardships he faced, Audrey outshone all their wives in beauty, a fact undeniable to anyone present.
Audrey squirmed under their scrutiny, forcing a smile in an effort to maintain a gracious facade. The men's conversation descended further into vulgarity with each passing glass, Stan's ribald jokes in particular bringing a blush to her cheeks. The urge to flee was strong, but politeness held her captive, so she feigned ignorance.
Stan, however, grew increasingly audacious, his gaze lingering on Audrey's captivating features as he delivered his off-color jokes with a lascivious smirk.
