Chapter 260 You Are So Enchanting
Kevin smiled awkwardly. He had been curious to see Audrey change clothes, but the scene had been too seductive, leaving him embarrassed. He grinned and said, "Sis, you are so enchanting. I'll never get tired of you."
"Oh, come on, you're still so young, talking about 'never' already." Audrey rolled her eyes at Kevin and sighed. "When you meet a girl you truly like in the future, you probably won't say that."
"Sis, I'm serious. I love only you in this lifetime."
Feeling emotional, Kevin couldn't help but walk over and embrace her voluptuous body, staring deeply into her eyes. "As long as you are willing, I can wait for the day you accept me."
"Oh, Kevin , you're so silly." Audrey was at a loss for words upon hearing his heartfelt confession. After a long pause, she sighed softly, "I don't know what to say to you. Please don't say things like that again. Let's go." With that, she hurriedly walked out into the yard.
Audrey was also feeling conflicted. Although she had gradually opened up her body to Kevin for the purpose of guiding his learning, it was merely a temporary measure and did not mean she had accepted this much younger boy. Moreover, she was still a married woman, making any deeper relationship with Kevin impossible.

Jason's career in the South was just beginning. Although he always sounded optimistic on the phone, Audrey felt uneasy. He described the South as a land of opportunity, but she didn't believe it was that easy to make money. She hoped her husband could achieve something significant but feared he might end up with nothing. In that case, it would be better for him to return to a stable job and live a peaceful life together.
Audrey had decided to visit her husband in the South during the summer break to maintain their relationship and understand his current situation. She didn't want to wait in vain and waste her best years, even if her husband eventually became wealthy. For her, his companionship was the most important thing.
Kevin felt a bit disappointed that Audrey didn't directly respond to his confession, but he wasn't too surprised since she had always been like this. Perhaps the intimate moments they shared last night had given him the illusion that Audrey had fully opened up to him, but it seemed he still had a long way to go.
They walked out of the yard, with Audrey leading and Kevin following silently, deep in thought. Suddenly, Audrey stopped and waited for Kevin to catch up. She took his hand and said softly, "Kevin , I made it clear last night. Our relationship is primarily that of teacher and student, and then cousins. As your teacher and cousin, I have to be responsible for your future. Your current thoughts are not mature enough, so don't say irresponsible things. It only makes you seem childish. I will fulfill my promise to you, so I hope you can also keep your word and not disappoint us, okay?"
Kevin held her cool, smooth hand and looked at her beautiful face. He had so much to say but couldn't find the words. Perhaps what Audrey said was right; similar advice had come from Alissa, though Kevin hadn't taken it to heart. Hearing it from Audrey now, he felt a heavy weight in his chest. Thinking of Alissa's earnest expression and his mother's teachings and seeing Audrey's hopeful look, he finally nodded and said, "Sis, don't worry. I know what to do."
They walked out to the street and waited at the intersection until a small bus approached. Audrey waved, and the bus stopped in front of her. A blonde man leaned out, his eyes lighting up as he saw Audrey. He stared at her ample breasts and swallowed nervously, stammering, "Beautiful lady, where to?"
Audrey blushed as she noticed the man's gaze fixed on her chest. She instinctively raised her hand to cover herself and said softly, "We're going to Maplewood."
"Maplewood, five dollars each. Get on."
The blonde man then noticed the tall figure of Kevin standing next to Audrey. He quickly averted his gaze from Audrey, opened the car doors for both of them.
Audrey and Kevin got on the bus, finding two seats at the back by the window. Kevin let Audrey sit inside while he took the seat next to her. The blonde man closed the door, took a small stool to sit on, and couldn't help but glance at Audrey again before signaling the driver to go. The bus spewed a cloud of black smoke and continued on its way.
