"Timothy, my great-uncle," Kevin said innocently, feeling puzzled. Why did this woman want to know so much about his visit to Clearbrook? Natalie asked Kevin a few more questions, and seeing Kevin's fluent responses, she felt strange. Could it be that Kevin didn't come to Clearbrook specifically to meet Armando? With that in mind, she smiled slightly, took Kevin's hand, and said, "Well, I'm feeling a bit unwell too. Take me there, and I'll see this doctor as well."
As the two walked out of the church and headed towards the west side of the village along the cobblestone path, the village roads were not as straight as those in the county town. They were winding and bumpy, making it difficult to walk. Natalie was wearing high heels, so she walked slowly, occasionally leaning on Kevin.
