Chapter 939 Calling for Reinforcements

With a muffled grunt, the beer bottle shattered, and blood trickled down the bald man's head. He released his grip on the restaurant owner, touched his head, and stared at the blood on his hand in disbelief. He couldn’t fathom that someone in this hometown would dare lay a hand on him.

Kevin, who arrived at the commotion, recognized the bald man as Jasper’s lackey, Douglas. The guy was notorious; he had even harassed Albert’s aunt, Florence, last time. Kevin had managed to trick him away back then, but now they had run into each other again.

“Son of a bitch, you’ve got guts, hitting me?” Douglas didn’t get angry but instead laughed viciously at Grace. “Do you believe I could kill you?”

“Try me!” Grace grabbed another beer bottle, pointed it at Douglas, and said, “Molesting women in broad daylight—is this a rebellion? Madam, call the police now. They’re cracking down on scum like him these days. Just shoot this filthy animal. How did your mother even raise someone like you?”

Douglas felt a shiver deep inside; he realized that he had underestimated this fierce woman. If she hit him again, his reputation on the streets would be in shambles.

“Forget it,” the restaurant owner hesitated for a moment but then said to Grace, “Sister, thanks, but this isn't worth calling the police over. This gentleman was just joking around with me.”

“Are you kidding me? Didn’t you see what he just did to you? Which side are you on?" Grace fumed. "That wasn't a joke; it was plain harassment."

The restaurant owner looked ashamed, but she still said helplessly, “Let it go. If you call the police, you can’t escape responsibility either since you hit him first. I’m doing this for your good.”

“Grace, let’s listen to the owner,” Bethany intervened, taking the beer bottle from Grace’s hand. Grace had acted so fast that she hadn’t had time to react when Grace smashed the bottle. The owner’s concerns weren’t unfounded; this man was a thug. Even if they called the police, all he did was grope the owner, and the police wouldn’t do much to him. On the other hand, Grace might face criminal charges for breaking his head. Moreover, if they made a big deal out of it, the thug might retaliate endlessly, and who could bear that?

The restaurant owner, pale-faced, apologized to Douglas, “Sir, this has all been a misunderstanding. It's my fault. Let’s go to the hospital, and I’ll cover the medical expenses.”

“Fine,” Douglas sneered, pointing to his head, “I’m not trying to take advantage of you, but a wound like this won’t heal in less than half a month. Pay me $50,000.”

Everyone's faces changed. They didn’t expect Douglas to demand such a high sum. Grace retorted, “Are you insane? $50,000? You might as well rob a bank. Getting stitches at the hospital won’t cost more than a few hundred dollars. You deserve another beating.”

The restaurant owner quickly intervened, “Sir, my business isn’t doing well. I can’t come up with that much money. How about I give you $5,000 now, and if that’s not enough, we can discuss more later?”

“$5,000? Am I a beggar to you?” Douglas smirked, glancing lewdly at the owner’s ample chest. “No money? Fine. Spend a night with me, and I’ll consider that $5,000 worth of fun. Otherwise, let's call the police. I’m sure this head wound qualifies as a Youth injury. None of you will escape, and eventually, I'll get to screw each one of you.”

The restaurant owner’s face turned ashen, pleading desperately. Bethany frowned, Grace seethed with anger, Caroline looked terrified, and Audrey remained icily calm but also helpless.

Just then, a woman’s voice rang out, “Douglas, you’re quite something, bullying a bunch of women at a restaurant. Do you even consider yourself a man?”

Douglas turned towards the door and saw Natalie, tall and sexy, sashaying in. He was momentarily stunned and instinctively stood up, “President, what are you doing here?”

“Why shouldn’t I be here? These people are my guests.” Natalie walked over, sat on a chair, and crossed her legs, her eyes narrowing. “Douglas, your bad habits are resurfacing. I haven’t even settled the last incident with you yet. Do you need me to call Jasper over? Remember, he’s not in a great mood lately, and he might just take his frustrations out on you.”

Douglas felt a cold fear settle in. Jasper had been particularly irritable since the Jerome incident, berating and beating up his subordinates. Everyone was walking on eggshells around him. If Natalie made a big deal out of this, he could be in serious trouble. Without a word, he started to leave but cast a venomous glance at the women, silently vowing revenge.

“President, thank you so much,” Bethany hurried over, gratefully holding Natalie’s hand. “If it wasn’t for you, we wouldn't have known what to do.”

“It’s nothing, just a Youth issue.” Natalie smiled. “Kevin called me saying you were having trouble here, so I came to check. Don’t worry; if he harasses you again, let me know, and I’ll take care of it.”

Kevin appeared from who knew where, having stayed out of sight while calling Natalie. Coincidentally, Natalie had been shopping nearby and arrived quickly.

The restaurant owner showered them with thanks and quickly had the private room cleaned up. The atmosphere returned to a bustling cheer.

Bethany insisted Natalie join them for dinner. Unable to refuse, Natalie eventually took a seat, glancing at Grace with a smile, “Mrs. Cooper, standing up for someone is commendable, but next time, consider your limits. You don’t want to end up in trouble yourself.”

Grace blushed, feeling a bit resentful but also acknowledging that Natalie had likely saved her from serious trouble. If someone like Douglas got a vendetta against her, life would become unbearable.

Kevin quickly interjected with a smile, “Godmother, I support you. We should indeed stand up against bad people, but White Sister has a point. We must also protect ourselves. Such scumbags aren't worth getting our hands dirty. Better to trust the police.”

“Always the chatterbox,” Audrey pulled Kevin’s arm. Despite Natalie’s capabilities in driving away Douglas, she found the situation peculiar. Douglas didn’t seem like someone who would be afraid of just anyone. Furthermore, Kevin’s ability to get Natalie to come over so quickly hinted at a closer relationship than he let on. She suspected Kevin was hiding something from her.

After a while, the owner personally brought their meals, declaring them free of charge and giving everyone a discount card, a gesture of gratitude towards Natalie.

After dinner, Natalie exchanged a few more words with Bethany and left. Grace and Caroline headed to the store inventory, while Bethany, Audrey, and Kevin returned home.

“Kevin, go to your room and get some sleep. Your cousin and I need to have a chat,” Bethany instructed, taking Audrey's hand and leading her to the bedroom for a heart-to-heart.

Kevin reluctantly retreated to his room. He was frustrated; his mother's return couldn’t have been worse-timed. He had been looking forward to enjoying Audrey's tender affections tonight, but now that seemed impossible.

Lying on his bed, he fantasized about Audrey's sensuous figure—her ample, firm breasts swaying before him, her bashful expression, and her plump, inviting curves. He imagined her softly urging, “Kevin, come, pleasure your cousin. She’s been aching for it, begging you to fill her.”

Unable to resist, Kevin slid his hand into his shorts and started pleasuring himself. Yet, he knew very well that with Audrey's character, she would never take the initiative to seduce him. Someone more brazen, like Natalie or Vanessa, might, and maybe even Caroline. That morning in the store’s storeroom, Caroline’s soft, ample buttocks had rubbed against him provocatively.

Sighing, he resigned himself to fantasies. Without Audrey's readiness to take their relationship to the next level, he decided it might be better to enjoy the attentions of other women who were more than willing—whether it be Grace, Caroline, Vanessa, or Natalie. They were open to him completely, ready for any form of play.

Just then, Kevin’s phone dinged. It was a message from Natalie. She had sent him a selfie, dressed in a black lace teddy, her body provocatively on display. The faint outline of her curvy hips and her plump, round breasts were nearly visible through the sheer fabric.

“Do you miss me, little one? I’m itching for you, waiting for you to come scratch that itch,” she texted, followed by more risqué selfies—lying on her bed, legs spread, exposing her intimate parts.

Kevin’s arousal intensified, and he gripped his hard member. The thought of Natalie waiting in her secret nook, ready for their passionate encounter, nearly drove him mad with desire. However, with Audrey chatting with his mother next door, he resisted, knowing he needed to be discreet for a while to avoid suspicion.

In response to Natalie’s provocative taunts, Kevin took a few photos of his erect member and sent them. He couldn't let her torment him without reciprocating.

Sure enough, Natalie fell silent. Kevin chuckled, imagining her frustrated. His phone chimed again, but this time it was Laura.

“Kevin, we’re flying back today. We’ll arrive at the airport at 4 PM. Can you come pick me up?”
