Chapter 607 Office Lunch Break Time
The two walked to the intersection south of the school, and sure enough, they saw a small shop selling cold noodles at the corner. Audrey seemed to be a regular here, as she walked in and ordered a bowl of cold noodles from the owner, along with a serving of noodles for Kevin, two pastries, and two bottles of soda.
Kevin was already hungry. He held a pastry in one hand, ate the noodles with the other, and occasionally took sips of soda. Audrey, on the other hand, elegantly used chopsticks to eat the cold noodles, drawing the attention of the other customers in the shop. Seeing the surreptitious glances from the men around, Kevin felt a mix of pride and annoyance. After a few bites of the spicy cold noodles, Audrey found it too hot. She opened her rosy lips to cool down and quickly drank some soda. "No, I can't leave my house empty all the time. I need to go back and tidy up," Audrey firmly rejected Kevin's proposal, smiling as she said, "You don't need to worry about me. I'm a grown woman; I can handle Christopher."
Seeing Audrey's nonchalant response, Kevin couldn't help but purse his lips. He was actually a bit worried about Audrey. Despite her being over a decade older and his cousin, she had a rather naive personality. Last time at school, she almost fell for Oliver's trick to perform oral sex on him. Christopher didn't seem like a good person either, and Kevin feared that Audrey might fall for some scheme. He pondered on how to get rid of Christopher.
Noticing that Kevin had finished the noodles and pastries, Audrey knew he wasn't full. She pushed her bowl of cold noodles towards him and said, "I can't finish this. If you don't mind my saliva, you can have it all."
Kevin, without hesitation, held the cold noodles and jokingly said, "Your saliva makes it taste better. How about adding some more?"
"Kevin, you're disgusting. Just eat," Audrey blushed slightly, glanced around, and worried about others overhearing their banter. After all, their playful interaction might seem odd to others.
Kevin quickly finished the bowl of cold noodles as well, let out a satisfied burp, and Audrey noticed some food residue on his mouth. She took a tissue and gently wiped it off for him. The other customers around looked on with envy, thinking how lucky this young man was to have such a beautiful girlfriend who was willing to eat at a small eatery with him.
"Let's pay, boss." Audrey stood up, took out money from her bag, and handed it to the owner. The onlookers couldn't help but feel jealous of Kevin. Not only did he bring his girlfriend to such a place, but he also didn't pay. It was simply unfair.
As they walked out of the eatery, Kevin watched Audrey's sexy figure swaying and couldn't help but suggest, "Sis, it's too hot. How about we go to your place to rest for a while?"
Audrey glanced at Kevin and coquettishly said, "My place doesn't have air conditioning. Why would you come over? How about this, I'll take you to the office where you can sit and read."
Kevin felt a bit frustrated, "Sis, who reads in the middle of the day? Besides, you just got back and must be tired. Why not go back and rest?"
"If it weren't for you, I could rest. But with you around, how can I rest?" Audrey said irritably, "Kevin, I know what you're up to. But the exams are coming up soon. Focus on your studies first, and after the exams, I'll make it up to you."
As Audrey thought about how to handle Kevin's various inappropriate requests, she enjoyed the intimate interaction with her energetic younger cousin.
