Chapter 461 Something's Off

"Kevin, why aren't you leaving?" Eunice saw Kevin stop in his tracks and asked with some confusion, "Did you see someone you know?"
"No," Kevin quickly followed Eunice towards the elevator, but in his mind, he started to wonder. Just now, Audrey looked flustered when she answered the phone at the park entrance, saying there was an urgent matter at school and she had to go back immediately. At that moment, Kevin didn't think much of it. However, upon seeing Oliver's appearance, a thought suddenly crossed his mind. What if the call Audrey received was from Oliver? Maybe Audrey wasn't going back to school at all but coming to the hotel to meet Oliver.
With these thoughts, Kevin felt uncomfortable. Why would Audrey deceive him to meet Oliver? Could it be that Audrey and Oliver had some clandestine affair? It wasn't surprising though. He was just a poor student, while Oliver was the school principal, holding Audrey's future in his hands. How could Audrey not try to please Oliver?
But why was Oliver sitting alone in the lobby, and where did Audrey go? Had Audrey already met Oliver and left, or was she waiting for Oliver's favor in a hotel room at that moment? The image of Oliver's unattractive body imposing on Audrey's delicate figure, his hands playing with her exquisite bosom, ignited a strong sense of jealousy and resentment in Kevin towards Audrey.
Why did she deceive him, play with his emotions? If he had known Audrey was such a loose woman, why did he endure so much in the first place? The fondness Kevin once had for Audrey had now turned into disgust. His only thought now was to find Audrey and demand answers. Why did she treat him this way? Why did she pretend to be pure when she was willing to be intimate with Oliver?
"Kevin, why do you look so pale? Are you sick?" Eunice, seeing Kevin silent and gloomy, couldn't help but ask.
"Oh, I'm fine, Eunice, just a bit tired," Kevin forced a smile, but in his mind, he was figuring out how to find out which room Audrey and Oliver were in.
Soon, Eunice led Kevin to the office of the guest room department. They passed by a middle-aged woman in a red skirt, fair-skinned, with exquisite features, graceful posture, and a dignified temperament. As she walked, her white thighs peeked through the gap in the short skirt, alluring.
"Eunice, why are you here? Are you looking for your mom?" The woman in the red skirt greeted Eunice with a smile. "Your mom is in a meeting. You can wait in my office for a while."
"Okay, Auntie," Eunice said with a smile, leading Kevin into the office.
The woman followed them in, poured two glasses of water, placed them on the coffee table, and looked at Kevin with a flirtatious smile. "You're Eunice's boyfriend, right? What's your name?"
The woman leaned forward, revealing a large expanse of white cleavage, which swayed enticingly. Kevin felt a bit dizzy, not to mention the size, this woman had really fair skin, almost as fair as Evelyn's.
"Auntie, don't talk nonsense. He's just a friend of mine," Eunice blushed, stomping her foot. "If you keep talking nonsense, I won't talk to you anymore."
"Alright, Auntie won't tease you anymore. You two sit for a while, Auntie will be busy for now."
The woman smiled charmingly, turned and left. However, Kevin couldn't help but be a little distracted by the swaying and perky buttocks. This woman had a hint of Vanessa's charm, but not as deliberate as Vanessa's coquettishness. He thought to himself, truly a grand hotel, encountering such a seductive woman casually. The male employees working here must be particularly fortunate.
Seeing Kevin staring at the woman's back, Eunice introduced the woman's identity. It turned out that the woman was Dolores, the deputy manager of the guest room department, under her mother's supervision. Dolores was divorced, and her child was awarded to the ex-husband, leaving her single.
Kevin found it strange. Dolores had good looks and figure, and she was a mid-level executive at a grand hotel. How could her husband bear to divorce her? However, he didn't know the reasons behind it and didn't bother to guess. Soon, his mind was filled with disturbing scenes of Audrey and Oliver in a room, making him restless. With hundreds of rooms in the hotel, he couldn't possibly search each one.
Suddenly, Eunice said hesitantly, "Kevin, I'll go to the restroom. There's a computer over there. You can play around for a bit, and I'll be back soon," and hurried out of the office.
Distracted, Kevin walked to the desk and saw the computer on. Suddenly, he noticed a guest room management system icon. His heart skipped a beat. He glanced at the door, got up, closed it, and then returned to his seat, opening the management system. A screen appeared without a password, showing a search interface.
Kevin directly typed Audrey's name, and soon a record appeared with room number 505. Kevin's hands turned cold. He hadn't expected Audrey to actually book a room here. He gritted his teeth, about to confront Audrey, but then he saw the age listed as 42. Audrey had only been working for five years and was 27 this year. The age didn't match, and the check-in time was yesterday at 9:15 pm, the same time Audrey was chatting intimately with him at the school guesthouse. How could she have booked a room at the hotel at that time? The timing didn't add up.
Kevin breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed to be another guest named Audrey. He then typed Oliver's name, and three records appeared. After a quick scan, he locked onto one: age 48, checked in yesterday at 7:25 pm, room number 601. This should be the school principal, Oliver.
Knowing Oliver's room number, Kevin couldn't sit still. He stood up to find Audrey, but how could he open the door without a key card? He furrowed his brow, staring at the computer screen absentmindedly. After a while, he suddenly thought of something. Since this was the office of the guest room department manager, there might be a spare key card.
Kevin quickly rummaged through the drawers. In the first drawer were some hotel management files and expense receipts. He opened the second drawer, which contained women's personal items like lipstick, a mirror, a comb, sanitary pads, neatly arranged. It was evident that Dolores was a very organized woman.
He opened the third drawer and found a black box inside. Unable to tell what was inside, Kevin thought the key card might be there. He took out the box, feeling its weight, and struggled to open it. However, what he saw inside left him stunned.
