Chapter 221 Feigned Ignorance
Audrey quickly noticed Kevin 's reaction and couldn't help but smile, thinking to herself how childlike he was, reacting so strongly just from holding her hand. Suddenly, she felt like teasing Kevin a bit and deliberately leaned closer, intimately wrapping her arm around his, pressing his arm against her ample breast. She coquettishly smiled and said, "Kevin , why are you walking so awkwardly? Are you feeling unwell?"
Kevin took a sharp breath, feeling the astonishing elasticity of her breast. His already hard member was now on the verge of exploding. He thought about what had gotten into Audrey as if she had become a different person. Seeing her looking at him with a teasing smile, he could only frown and say, "Mrs. Johnson, I'm fine, just not used to walking like this. Maybe I should walk on my own."
Although Kevin would have loved for Audrey to initiate intimate contact, the suddenness of it all was a bit overwhelming. More importantly, if she continued to stimulate him like this, he might explode before they even got home. He certainly didn't want to embarrass himself in front of her.
Seeing Kevin 's awkward demeanor, Audrey felt even more confident in her decision. She should take the initiative rather than passively avoid it. However, Kevin didn't like this guy. Sean wasn't a good person, much like Ivan from his own class. Because of his family's wealth, Sean was often arrogant, looking down on students like Kevin , who came from average backgrounds. It was also rumored that he frequently visited a known red-light district, so he couldn't be up to any good.
Seeing Sean, Audrey was momentarily stunned. She instinctively glanced at Kevin , feeling a bit uneasy. She wondered if Sean had seen her intimate gesture with Kevin . Although her cousin relationship with Kevin was more or less public, her teasing of him had crossed the boundary of affection. Anyone who didn't know better might think Audrey and Kevin were a couple.
However, as a teacher, Audrey quickly composed herself and smiled slightly, saying, "No need, Sean. Kevin is with me, and that's enough. You should hurry home."
Sean then pretended to just notice Kevin and said in surprise, "Oh, Kevin , I didn't see you there. Why are you with our class's teacher? I thought you took a different route home. Do you have something to discuss with Mrs. Johnson?"
Kevin coldly smiled, knowing this guy had a thing for Audrey and was deliberately causing trouble after seeing them together. Hearing that Audrey didn't explain their relationship, he had an idea and pretended to be reluctant, saying, "It's not that I have something to discuss. Mrs. Johnson's family has some issues, and she happened to run into me, so she asked me to help. I had no choice."
He spoke with a reluctant expression.
Sean was overjoyed, thinking this was his chance to visit Audrey's home. Seeing Kevin 's unwilling expression, he chuckled to himself and quickly said, "Then you should hurry home. Mrs. Johnson is our English teacher, and I'm the English class representative. If she needs help, it's my duty. Mrs. Johnson, you can always count on me."
"That wouldn't be appropriate," Kevin said, secretly pleased but appearing hesitant. "I don't want to take up your time. What if your family worries about you being late?"
"No worries," Sean quickly replied. "My family never cares when I get home. Besides, I like helping others. You go on home, and I'll give Mrs. Johnson a ride."
He then tried to get Audrey to sit on the back of his bike.
Seeing Sean's bike, Audrey's face turned red. It wasn't out of shyness but because it reminded her of how she and Kevin had truly gotten to know each other. Her high heel had broken, and Kevin had given her a ride to a repair shop and then home. She had been so moved that she invited him in to rest, leading to him seeing her naked, which started their ambiguous relationship. Why did all these boys like using the same trick?
She couldn't help but glare at Kevin and explained to Sean, "Sean, you should go home. Kevin was joking. He's my cousin and is coming home for dinner tonight."
Sean was stunned. Kevin was actually related to Audrey. Seeing Kevin smirking at him, he realized he'd been played by this jerk. His face turned red with embarrassment, and he quickly left on his bike after glaring at Kevin .
After Sean left, Audrey Johnson scolded, "Kevin , did you do that on purpose? You could have told Sean we were cousins from the start. Why embarrass him? He was just trying to be helpful. Why did you do that?"
"He was being helpful? Hmph, I don't believe it. He had ulterior motives," Kevin coldly replied, "Cousin, I think you should stay away from him. He might try to trick you."
