Chapter 150 Quarrel

He asked, "Were you talking to Simon on the phone? Planning to buy a gift?"

A light and oppressive tone, inexplicably suppressing her.

Anna pursed her lips and replied, "Yes, I only talked with him for two minutes. Don't worry, it was my phone, so it won't be tracked. Even if it is tracked, it's my own identity, won't affect you and Katherine."

She explained comprehensively, merely finding reasonable excuses to talk about her feelings with Simon.

Giorgio thought about how she used to be so happy with Simon and now faced him with such indifference and restraint, which made him increasingly agitated.

"Come with me."

"Ah, where are we going?"

"Where do you think? Are you planning on attending your father's birthday banquet dressed like this?" Giorgio coldly dropped these words and walked away quickly.

Even the wind passing by felt cold.

Anna furrowed her eyebrows.

If he wanted to buy clothes, then buy clothes. Why was he being so cold?

She quickly followed him outside and saw him giving instructions to his secretary, unable to resist smiling.

'It's probably because he thinks I'm here, delaying him and his secretary, that he's showing this displeased expression, right?'

Well, it's good that she wanted to stay away from him, otherwise it wouldn't be fair to Simon.

During the journey, neither of them spoke. In fact, Anna sat by the side, as if there was a galaxy separating them.

The atmosphere in the car was incredibly stifling and heavy.

After twenty minutes, the car entered the underground garage of Bari Street.

This street was known for being home to the world's top luxury brands and was the epitome of opulence. Even those who have never been there have heard of it.

Anna opened the car door and got out without saying a word.

Not a single word was spoken from beginning to end.

Giorgio noticed her actions and a cold sneer appeared on his lips.

Just because she made a phone call to Simon, she doesn't even talk to him anymore? Such an abrupt change in attitude?

With a cold expression and a chilling aura, he got out of the car.

"You plan to present yourself in front of everyone like this?" His cold voice rang out.

Anna stopped in her tracks.

'What's wrong with presenting myself like this?'

Wasn't he the one being cold first?

"Mr. Vittorio, I think I can choose my own dress, you don't need to accompany me."

In other words, she doesn't want to be seen with him?

Giorgio was already annoyed, and hearing her speak to him in that tone only made him more displeased.

"Why didn't you say that you don't need me to accompany you last night when you were scared? Why are you suddenly so cold towards me? Why jump? Do you know that distances have been stretched? So, if Simon knew that you were pretending to be Katherine and sharing a bed with me, would he still want you?"

There was sarcasm in his tone, explicit words, and a mocking tone.

It was also very dangerous.

Anna was furious. "You!"

"What? Wasn't it you who wore a camisole under me last night?" He retorted.

Anna remained silent.

She never thought he could be so shameless! It was clearly his fault, taking advantage of her, yet he made it sound like she was being unreasonable.

She clenched her fists and pursed her lips.

"So what if it's me? Tell me, if the Vittorio family and the media find out that you had your wife's sister pretend to be your wife, would they still respect you? Would Vittorio's Family Stock plummet?"

Giorgio furrowed his eyebrows, grabbing her chin with his hand.

"Because of Simon, are you threatening me?"

"So what if I am? You threatened me first."

Anna struggled out of his grasp and walked away in large strides.

She had no intention of talking to him.

Replacing Katherine was already enough of a humiliation, and now she had to endure his oppression. This was no way to live.

Giorgio watched her angry figure and clenched his fists, his face turning iron grey.

"Mr. Vittorio, she can't find her way outside. Shouldn't we go after her?" The driver timidly suggested.

Giorgio coldly sneered, "Don't bother, let her get lost, it serves her right."

With that, he got into the car and slammed the door shut.

The scene was captured by the lurking journalists.

On the first floor.

After exiting the elevator, Anna casually entered a luxury dress store.

A shop assistant approached her, ready to greet, but their expression changed upon seeing her. "Anna? What are you doing here?"

Anna was surprised to see Camilla.

Why was she here?

Right, she heard that Camilla studied fashion design after high school and now worked for such a famous luxury brand. It was no wonder she was so arrogant and proud.

In fact, despite Camilla's annoying qualities, Anna envied her a bit.

At least she had a job she liked and her own life.
Unlike Anna, who had no diploma and could only help Sara with deliveries.

"Anna? Are you here to apply for a job? Sorry, we don't hire people who haven't graduated high school here," Camilla's voice dripped with sarcasm.

Many employees and customers in the store looked at Anna's face with disdainful scrutiny.

"Why does she seem a bit familiar?"

The condescending remarks kept coming.

Anna quickly came to her senses and realized that she was wearing a hat, keeping her head down, which prevented everyone from recognizing her.

She looked at Camilla's lofty posture and asked,
"Who are you?"

Three simple words, filled with arrogance and nobility.

They overshadowed everything.

Camilla's face stiffened, sensing that Anna was different now.

But the ugly duckling would always be an ugly duckling. Pretending and putting on airs would never turn it into a swan.

Through gritted teeth, she said, "I am Camilla. Ah, your high school classmate, you must have not studied well and have a bad memory if you don't even remember your classmates, right? I was just trying to remind you that they're not hiring people here, so you wouldn't embarrass yourself. But since we were once classmates, if you really need a job, I can help talk to the boss and get you a cleaning job. Don't look down on it. It's an honor that someone with your education can come here to clean."

She spoke with an air of superiority, displaying her kindness.

Between the lines, there was a clear contempt and disdain.

Anna responded coldly with a smirk, "How annoying!"

Then, she lifted her head, took off her hat, and looked at the manager standing nearby who was dressed noticeably different.

She said, "This employee is even noisier than a sparrow. Kick them out."

At that moment, she raised her chin slightly, exuding a strong aura.

Her beautiful face was clear and radiant under the lights.

"Mrs. Vittorio!" The employee exclaimed in surprise.

Soon, others also realized and said, "It's Mrs. Vittorio!"

"Even without makeup, she looks so gorgeous! We're so lucky to encounter her!"

"What kind of quality does that employee have to dare to mention Mrs. Vittorio's middle school diploma and make her do cleaning?"

"How can such a high-end store have such a low-level employee?"

In an instant, everyone's discussions took a different turn.

Camilla was shocked and perplexed.

She knew Katherine and Anna looked the same.
But just now, when Katherine appeared, she had the first impression of Anna. She really thought…

How... How could it be Katherine?

Her face pale, Camilla apologized hastily, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Can you forgive me? I mistook you for someone else, a person who looks exactly like you."
