Chapter 546 Anna, I'll Marry You in Three Months
Suddenly, Anna felt very nervous.
Giorgio's handsome face kept getting closer to her and she could clearly see his deep eyes, high nose, and sensual lips.
Every feature was so perfect, making her heart race.
She nervously closed her eyes, thinking he was going to kiss her.
But then, the seatbelt loosened, and Giorgio's magnetic voice sounded in her ear. "Just unbuckling your seatbelt, why are you so nervous?"
Anna suddenly opened her eyes, extremely embarrassed.
She thought he was going to kiss her; she was overthinking it.
"I can do it myself!" she retorted.
Before she could finish speaking, her lips were suddenly kissed by Giorgio, unexpectedly and abruptly.
Anna's eyes widened in shock, looking at his close-up eyes, she pushed him away, a bit embarrassed, saying, "Weren't you just unbuckling the seatbelt?"
Giorgio smiled elegantly. "You looked pretty disappointed, so I made up for it."
Come on, it was his actions that made her overthink!
Anna pouted, not wanting to pay him any attention.
Giorgio adjusted the seat position, reclining slightly.
With more space, he pulled her into his arms, letting her lie in his embrace, whispering, "Just watch the movie."
This wasn't their first time watching a movie; they had watched it in a home theater before.
But at this moment, surrounded by small enclosed cars, most of which were occupied by couples, the dim lighting inside the car created a different atmosphere.
Anna lay in Giorgio's arms. He wasn't doing anything, and this should have been a sweet and peaceful moment, but she felt inexplicably nervous, her mind racing, unable to calm down.
About ten minutes later, the movie started.
To Anna's surprise, it was a couple's movie!
As the name suggests, the story was ambiguous, with some risqué scenes, meant for couples!
Anna took one look and her face turned beet red. "Wh-why is it this kind of movie?" Her voice was trembling.
Giorgio remained calm, his handsome face showing little reaction in the dim light. "Tony bought it. I'll remind him that later.."
So, he didn't know either?
Why was everyone around them so unreliable!
Anna, feeling uneasy, asked, "Can we change places then?"
Giorgio said, "The car is stuck in the middle. We can't get out now."
Anna got up and looked outside, and indeed, every spot was filled with cars!
Some cars, either because the glass wasn't very opaque or intentionally, were somewhat transparent, vaguely showing the people inside.
In this situation, it was impossible to get out and ask everyone to move!
"Then I suppose we have to watch this kind of movie." Anna's voice was very small at the end as she had never been this embarrassed in her life!
Giorgio glanced at her, her face flushed in the dim light, teasing, "Stay steadfast in your heart, or is it that you're already restless inside?"
"You're the one who's restless!" She retorted, angrily sat up, grabbed the popcorn, and started eating one piece after another, staring straight at the screen.
In Girogio's eyes, her angry yet composed demeanor was truly adorable.
Giorgio simply turned to face her, saying with a husky and low voice, "You're right."
He actually agreed with what she just said!
Anna was momentarily speechless as it seemed Giorgio never thought logically.
Seeing her not moving, clearly not in the mood to watch the movie or eat popcorn, he raised his hand, took the popcorn from her, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her lips very gently, carefully, and tenderly.
His pleasant scent, like the spring breeze, seeped into her heart, making her feel intoxicated.
Anna's whole body tensed up.
Previously in the apartment, he was reluctant to touch her.
It seemed Sara was right; he must be planning to confess to her, to officially make her his girlfriend, which was why he was acting like this.
She quietly closed her eyes, nervous, anxious, and with a tiny bit of anticipation for what was to come.
She knew she was unable to refuse.
"Anna." Giorgio released her lips, looking deeply into her eyes with gentle eyes. "I've been formally dating Lola for three months. After tonight, we won't see each other for a while."
Dating Lola? Not seeing each other for three months?
It was like a bucket of cold water suddenly poured over her, extinguishing all of Anna's emotions.
She opened her eyes, looking at the exceptionally handsome and deep Giorgio, for a moment, her lips felt glued shut, unable to make any sound.
Giorgio looked at her, explaining word by word, "My grandmother's last wish before she died was for me to marry Lola. I can't fulfill that, but out of respect for her, I plan to complete the dating period. This will be the last time I listen to her. You know, Lola and I have no feelings for each other outside of work. Wait for me for three months, okay?"
Anna understood.
He wanted to respect Viviana's last wish by dating Lola.
And she, once again, became someone who couldn't be known to others. He didn't want to get her harmed in any capacity, so they couldn't see each other.
She understood all these reasons. After all, she was the one who suggested he date Lola in the first place. But at this moment, thinking about him being another woman's boyfriend, she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness and discomfort.
"Anna, I've enrolled Penny in Frostgate Academy of Dance for the next three months. You can take Penny there to study and travel," Giorgio spoke softly again.
Anna was stunned again.
Go to Frostgate? He didn't want her to stay in Crownhaven or in the country? Was he worried she'd be unhappy seeing him with Lola? Or was he worried she'd interfere?
Her heart felt sour again, and she spoke, "I'm not going. I voluntarily suggested you date Lola for three months, and now you said it was Viviana's last wish, I understand your intentions and accept them. Don't worry, as long as you don't see me, I won't appear in front of you, nor will I have any objections or throw a tantrum."
Her understanding made Giorgio's heart ache. But he still hoped she would go to Frostgate.
On one hand, he didn't want her to see him with Lola and get upset.
On the other hand, dating Lola formally would cause a lot of media attention, and if he saw her, it would inevitably lead to problems.
And with her around, he couldn't resist the desire to see her.
"Be good, okay? In three months, I'll settle everything and bring you back to my side properly."
He was saying the most gentle words and he had his own secret burden.
But, Anna just didn't want to go to Frostgate, her beautiful eyes looking at him and saying, "I have a lot of videos to shoot in these three months too. I can't just give up my work because of you, right? And I'm already feeling bad, please, don't mention going to Frostgate anymore, okay?"
Her pleading voice made Giorgio's heart soften and he said, "Okay."
He stroked her head, his perfectly shaped lips kissing her forehead, nose tip, and then her lips, whispering, "In three months, we'll get married."
Anna's heart trembled.
Whether it was to comfort or calm her down, they all touched her heart.
At this moment, Giorgio's intimacy felt more like he was giving himself to her rather than wanting to have her.
She understood his intentions but she didn't need his physical promise.
Anna raised her hand to push his shoulder. "Mr. Vittorio, let's wait until our wedding night."
