"Mommy, I want to go for a walk downstairs," Penny said on the third evening, unable to sit still after being in the hospital room for a few days.

Anna's face dimmed slightly, and that voice sounded in her mind again. "Anna, do you want to know what you mean to me?" What did she mean to him?

Anna suddenly raised her hand and slapped herself on the head. He was getting married to Katherine. What could she mean to him? It must have just been a casual joke!
"Penny, let's go somewhere else!"
Anna prepared to lead Penny away. However, Penny looked excitedly in a certain direction and called out, "It's Giorgio!"
Following Penny's gaze, Anna saw the man under the banyan tree. He was wearing a custom-made black suit, tall and slender, exuding an elegant and aristocratic air.
Even without any action or words, just by standing there, he looked like an exquisite masterpiece, capturing people's attention. Even though Anna had seen him a thousand times before and even had resistance and disgust towards him, seeing him unexpectedly at this moment still startled her.
Is he not getting married? Why is he still at the hospital?
"Giorgio, I missed you so much!" Without waiting for Anna to think, Penny had already ran over and looked up at Giorgio.
Giorgio went downstairs with his grandmother for a walk that day. His grandmother had something to attend to upstairs. He just finished a work call and saw Penny. His deep gaze swept over Anna not far away and landed on Penny.
"How much did you miss me?"
"Very much! If missing you once is a grain of sand, then my longing can gather into the Sahara Desert!"
"You really know how to talk! What do you want to eat? My treat."
"Anything is fine. I like whatever Giorgio buys!"
Giorgio smiled, picked up Penny, and walked towards the hospital food area.
Anna was conflicted.
That's her child!
When did he ask for her consent?
She quickly caught up.
Dalio Hospital was very big. Since only wealthy people came in, there was a wide variety of dining options, and it was super luxurious.
Nothing like a hospital! It's more like an upscale restaurant!
Giorgio chose an Italian restaurant. He took Penny to a private room and elegantly ordered several dishes.
Lifting his gaze, he lightly glanced at Anna.
"What do you like to eat?"
"I'm not hungry." Anna dared not look into his eyes, and she didn't understand why he was still interacting with her when he's going to marry Katherine.
She looked at Penny.
"Penny, eat less. We have to hurry back for a check-up later."
"But mommy, there's no check-up this afternoon."
"...There is today! The doctor notified us last minute." Anna made up a random reason.
Penny nodded and didn't ask further.
On the other hand, Giorgio's deep gaze scanned Anna with sharpness and danger.
As if he could see through her intentions.
Soon, the food arrived.
Anna let out a sigh of relief and pushed the food over, urging them to eat. She dared not look at Giorgio at all.
But he was sitting right across from her, no matter where she looked, she could see him in the corner of her eye.
Under the afternoon sun, his face appeared indifferent, his posture lofty, his movements unhurried and elegant.
Even though she had seen too many aristocratic gentlemen on TV and in real life, Anna felt that no one could be as elegant as Giorgio, even when eating. It was like art.

Giorgio glanced at Anna across from him and said to the little one, "Let's eat first, be careful not to choke."
"Oh." Penny took a few bites of steak and looked at Anna again.
"Mommy, you and Giorgio sleep together, right? Don't you get along well? Why don't you even talk when you meet? Seems like we're complete strangers~"
Anna was taken aback by her daughter's words.
This child is definitely doing it on purpose!
She quickly grabbed a piece of bread and stuffed it into Penny's mouth. "Don't talk while eating, you might choke."
Penny made a funny face and obediently ate her meal.
Facing Giorgio, Anna was already feeling awkward, and now he brought up that topic again. She wished she could find a hole to hide in.

"Mr. Vittorio, I suddenly remembered that I left my phone in the ward. I'll go back first. When Penny finishes eating, could you please take her back to the ward? You can ask a nurse to accompany her if you prefer. Bye-bye."
After saying that, Anna got up and left.
Giorgio at the phone in her hands. Did he look like a blind man?
"Penny, eat your food obediently. I have a few words to say to your mother."
Giorgio immediately stood up and walked towards the entrance of the private room.
Anna walked out of the room, intending to relax for a moment, when someone suddenly grabs her wrist!
She fell into the neighboring room.
As she looked up, she saw Giorgio's handsome face!
