Chapter 494 Serve Him?

Giorgio's eyes narrowed, and he bent down to scoop her up. But Anna sensed someone's presence approaching her in her sleep, her body shook, and she popped her eyes open.

Giorgio snapped back to his cold self, straightened up, and glared down at her, saying, "In this huge villa, you gotta sleep here?"

Back in the day, he would've killed to have her in his bed. Now, in Anna's point of view, he couldn't stand her crashing at his door. Anna's heart ached, and she mumbled, "I dozed off by accident last night. Didn't mean to."

She tried to get up, but as soon as she stood, her legs, cramped from squatting all night, gave out, and she stumbled forward. Giorgio moved fast, almost on reflex, catching her and pulling her close.

He looked at her with those intense eyes, saying, "Legs hurt?"

Anna was about to nod, but Giorgio cut her off, "Using this as an excuse? Isn't that a bit pathetic?"

She had thought he was caring about her when he caught her, but it turned out he was just mocking her!

Anna, both pissed and anxious, shoved him away, snapping, "Yeah, I'm pathetic. Mr. Vittorio, you're so high and mighty. I don't deserve to be in your presence. I bet with someone like me making breakfast, you and your fancy wife wouldn't even touch it, so let's not waste time."

Anna continued, "If you don't want me to show up in front of your wife and spill what you said last night, then give me my phone. Otherwise, I won't stay quiet!"

Her voice was sharp, her chin up, showing just how mad she was.

Giorgio had never seen a woman dare to yell at him like this; Anna was definitely the first, and she had done it more than once. Looking at her furious face, he was unfazed. Instead, his eyes were deep and intrigued, saying, "Oh? Gonna make a scene? I'm actually looking forward to it. Don't let me down."

Watching Giorgio's cold, arrogant figure walk away, Anna stood there, stunned, both shocked and speechless. 'Isn't he super close with Katherine? Why isn't he scared of me telling her? Or maybe, neither of us matter to him. We're just his playthings!' she thought.

In the end, Anna still had to make breakfast. She couldn't afford to piss off Giorgio right now.

Right then, the doorbell rang. It must be Katherine. Anna quickly set the breakfast table and said, "Alright, enjoy your meal."

"Hold up." Giorgio called out coldly, staring at her back. "Without my say-so, stay downstairs and serve."

Serve? He actually wanted her to serve him and Katherine breakfast!

Anna, usually easy to push around, got tough this time. She said coldly, "Giorgio, don't push it!"

In Anna's eyes, he had no right to treat her like this. She firmly protested, "I'd rather die than be your servant."

Anna's voice was loud, like a hedgehog ready to fight. Giorgio stood tall and walked towards her, saying, "You don't get to refuse."

So what if she refused? She wasn't gonna do anything for Katherine, the real villain here. She even wished she had poisoned the food.

Anna looked at Giorgio's high-and-mighty stance, knowing he wouldn't let her off easy. Since that was the case, she had to find a way to fight back.

Her heart steeled, Anna stepped forward, stood on tiptoe, wrapped her arms around Giorgio's shoulders, and planted a kiss right on his lips! He wanted to humiliate her? Fine, she'd make him too embarrassed to face Katherine now.

Anna figured if Katherine heard the commotion, she'd be hurt, killing two birds with one stone!

Anna's move was quick and bold, catching Giorgio off guard. His tall frame stiffened.

He raised his hand, ready to push her away. But Anna clung to him tightly, her whole body pressed against his chest, kissing him wildly. Meanwhile, she maneuvered him towards the floor-to-ceiling window, 'accidentally' pulling the curtain. The curtain flew open, clearly showing the two of them locked in a passionate, heated kiss to the outsider.

Anna thought Katherine must have seen them by now and was probably fuming, her face twisted in rage. She glanced outside, expecting to see Katherine's pained expression, but instead, she saw Charlie and Tony, both standing there, jaws dropped.

She felt like she'd been hit by a bomb, struck by lightning, her whole body freezing up.

'Why isn't it Katherine?' she thought.

Outside the window, Tony and Charlie were even more shocked. 'Mr. Vittorio is actually kissing Anna in the living room! Oh my God!' Tony thought.

Compared to everyone else's confusion, Giorgio was calm and composed, his deep eyes showing no emotion. He looked at Anna in his arms, saying, "Why'd you stop? I thought you'd be bolder."

His voice was hoarse and magnetic, dangerously seductive. Anna was mortified. "Didn't you say it was Katherine? Why is it Charlie?"

Giorgio said coldly, "So, you kissed me just to show Katherine?"

Anna stiffened, looking at him, retorting, "What else? Does Mr. Vittorio still hope I kissed you for another reason?"

Not wanting to humiliate herself anymore, Anna pushed him away, opened the door, and said, "Charlie, come in for breakfast."

Before Charlie came, Giorgio had told him to come see Anna, and he didn't believe it. Now, seeing it was indeed Anna, Charlie's face lit up with a bright smile.

"Auntie Anna, you're back! Did you make up with Daddy? I was going to help explain for you, but I couldn't reach you, and I was afraid of causing you trouble, so I haven't sent the message yet. I have evidence that the woman who abused the cat wasn't you."

Charlie was so innocent, he thought the relationship between his Daddy and Anna broke because of that news. Now, even though they made up, he still wanted to help.

Anna was genuinely touched. Probably only Penny and Charlie could trust her so unquestioningly.

She squatted down and hugged Charlie, her voice incredibly gentle. "Good boy, thank you, Charlie. I'm fine."

Charlie didn't dwell on the issue but curiously said, "Anna, why are you wearing old people's clothes? Did Daddy make you role-play? Daddy is so weird."

Anna's face turned red with embarrassment. She didn't dare look at Giorgio and lied, "Yes, he has a weird taste. Let's ignore him."

Noticing Tony's strange look, Giorgio coldly said, "What are you thinking? Didn't you see what she was wearing when she was brought here last night!"

Tony shivered, then he remembered Anna was wearing this outfit when she arrived.

Thinking for a while, Tony reported, "Mr. Vittorio, weren't you going to investigate the matter?"
