Chapter 84 Fond of Her to Lovesickness?

Little Tony noticed Giorgio's gaze and looked in the same direction, furrowing his brows.

"Someone crying outside the hospital late at night is likely a family member with a serious illness."

Giorgio lifted his cold lips and retorted, "Didn't she look like Anna to you?"

Anna? Was Mr. Vittorio so infatuated with Anna that he saw her in every passing silhouette?

"Mr. Vittorio, they are both women, with similar appearances from behind, but Miss Stefanelli wouldn't be in Crownhaven, and even if she were, she would go to Stefanelli Family. How could she be crying on the roadside? You must have mistaken her for someone else."

Little Tony's voice carried a touch of frustration.

Giorgio understood his disdain and cast a cold glance at him. "Little Tony, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Huh? Mr. Vittorio, don't you always avoid private matters? I have been with you since school, and I don't have time to date. My work is my girlfriend."

Little Tony's words didn't sound pitiful at all. He was a workaholic who didn't need a girlfriend even more than Mr. Vittorio did.

Giorgio sneered, "Exactly." Without a girlfriend, how could he understand women's emotions?

He lowered his gaze to the newspaper in his hands.

Was he being looked down upon?

Or was it about girlfriends? Was he being disdained by the emotionless Mr. Vittorio?

Little Tony's head hurt. What's more, Mr. Vittorio seemed absent-minded ever since his return from Vista Heights. Did his words just now indicate that he had emotions towards women?

Why did he always feel that something was off about this wedding? It seemed like trouble would arise...

"Mr. Vittorio, Viviana has not been feeling well recently. Please don't anger her."

Giorgio replied coldly, "I will be with her at the hospital these two days. You handle the other matters."

Little Tony let out a sigh of relief. "Alright."

The car slowly entered the underground garage.

Anna, who had been crying while reading through a lot of information, wiped away her tears and stood up when she determined that there was still hope for a cure.

Her Penny was so good, surely she would be able to recover!

She wouldn't be discouraged, she wouldn't give up!

She went to nearby shops to buy daily necessities and candies that Penny liked, then carried them back to the hospital.

As she turned a corner in the hallway, a suit-clad and dignified man appeared in front of her. He had his head lowered, reading a medical record while talking to another person beside him.

Even his simple walk felt majestic, exuding an aura of royalty.

Giorgio!

What was he doing at the hospital? Why was he everywhere?!

Anna's face turned pale with fear. She instantly hid behind the wall, lowered her head, and pretended to tie her shoelaces.

"Tap, tap..." sounds of footsteps faded away as Giorgio walked through the corridor, completely unaware of the girl on the floor.

Anna quickly got up and ran back to the ward.

Seeing her return in a hurry, Simon asked with concern, "What happened?"

"It's nothing. I was just worried about Penny, so I ran back," Anna replied, placing her things on the cabinet.

"Mr. Dalio, I don't want Katherine and the others to know about Penny's illness and why I came to Crownhaven. Could you help me keep it a secret?" Anna asked, guessing that she didn't want to face Giorgio.

Understanding her intentions, Simon softly agreed, "Sure."

"Thank you. When I came back just now, I saw a five-star hotel across the street. You should go rest. I'll take care of Penny," Anna said.

"No need, I'll stay here with you. It's more convenient for both of us," Simon replied warmly, taking the toiletries she had bought and walking into the bathroom.

This was a luxurious ward with complete living facilities and even a companion bed, although it was far from being a presidential suite. But Simon, noble and elegant, had no complaints. He naturally blended in, adding invisible points to his charm.

Anna couldn't help but think, Where can I find such a good man? I wouldn't even find one with a lantern!

Anna, cherish him!

Early the next day.

Renowned experts took Penny for treatment and examination, leaving Anna feeling nervous.

Penny was so afraid of pain, she didn't know if the treatment would hurt.

As if understanding her thoughts, Simon comforted, "Don't overthink it, Penny is braver than you think."

"Ring ring..." Just as he finished speaking, Anna's phone started ringing.

"Simon, those professors are world-class doctors. I have shown my sincerity, and it's time for you to fulfill your promise. At noon today, go meet Miss Greco from Wusi Group for lunch. I'll send you the location on your phone."

Simon frowned and said, "Father, let's talk about those matters later. I need to accompany her."

"Fine, you stay with her. The doctors don't need to accompany her daughter anymore."

Simon angrily hung up the phone. He had never imagined that his usually gentle father would be so heartless at this moment.

"What's wrong? Is it your uncle in Crownhaven who's angry? If that's the case, you should go back first. There are doctors here, and I can take care of Penny," Anna worriedly asked, concerned about adding troubles to Simon.

Simon rubbed her head and said, "It's nothing. I'll go out for a while. If there's anything, call me."

"Okay, be careful."

After watching Simon leave, Anna anxiously stood by the door of the treatment room.

Unexpectedly, she ran into her high school classmate, Camilla Ricci.

"Anna, it's you, right? You actually came to Crownhaven? Are you working as a cleaner in Dalio Hospital?" Camilla's voice was filled with sarcasm and disdain.

Since their first year of high school, Camilla had never liked Anna, probably because Anna was the richest socialite in Vista Heights and had a liking for Alessandro.

However, Alessandro ignored her completely and only focused on Anna. She held deep resentment towards him and constantly found trouble for Anna. Anna had no interest in paying attention to her. It would be a waste of breath to talk to someone like her.

Annoyed by being ignored, Camilla exclaimed, "Hey, Anna, I'm talking to you, can't you hear me?" Yet, Anna continued to ignore her, treating her as if she were invisible! Camilla became furious and felt like a fool. She directly spilled her coffee on Anna.

This time, let's see if she reacts! Anna hurriedly left the scene, still wearing her white pajamas, which made the coffee stains very noticeable, and she looked disheveled.

She looked up, her gaze piercing and sharp, directed at Camilla. Camilla was taken aback. She suddenly realized that Anna had no connections, and the cheap clothes she wore indicated a lack of development on her part. Straightening her back, Camilla sarcastically apologized, "Oops, I slipped, sorry. There's a dry cleaner's, they can clean it for you. Anna, you should have dry cleaning money, right? You're not angry, are you?"

Anna didn't expect Camilla to be so petty, and she coldly sneered, "If it's cleaned, I shouldn't be angry, right?"

"Well, it's just a small issue," Camilla replied self-righteously.

The next moment, Anna bent down, picked up the trash can from the floor, and poured it directly onto Camilla. The trash can in the corridor was dirty, filled with cigarette butts, fruit peels, tissues, and even spit. Camilla was completely covered from head to toe, utterly disgusting and foul-smelling.

"Ah! You bitch, Anna!" Camilla exploded.

Anna looked at her coldly and calmly said, "Don't worry, there's a washing machine, it'll be clean. Don't get angry."

With that, she clapped her hands, turned around, and walked away.

Ah! She wanted to teach Anna a lesson, but ended up hurting herself instead. Frustrating!

At the corner of the hallway, a figure watched the scene and narrowed their eyes...
