Chapter 64 Let's Date

"Ah, it hurts!" Anna fanned herself with her small hand.

Damn it, Giorgio had actually made Little Tony smear chili sauce on her mouth!

"Realized your mistake?" Suddenly, a questioning voice came from behind.

Anna turned around and saw Giorgio standing behind her, still in that condescending manner, but he was now the person she detested the most!

She glared at him, said nothing, and walked away.

Is she really angry?

Giorgio took a step to the right, his tall figure blocking her path. "Like this, is it my fault?"

Anna snorted at him three times and said, "No, I wouldn't dare blame you. I just feel that I shouldn't say anything about you or talk to you. So, is it wrong for me not to speak?"

A hint of a smile flashed through Giorgio's eyes as he looked at her crimson lips, inexplicably feeling a little heartache.

He looked at Little Tony, who had just rushed up, and said, "Let the doctor prescribe medicine for her."

Little Tony had already anticipated that Mr. Vittorio would soften his heart, so he was prepared in advance. However, it took less than ten minutes for Mr. Vittorio to say it out loud. It was truly unexpected!

He handed the medicine over and said, "Miss Stefanelli, it will stop hurting immediately."

Anna was slightly stunned. There was medicine that could relieve pain so quickly? Was he really that good?

But she said, "I don't like the idea of giving a slap and a candy. Mr. Vittorio, keep it for yourself. Goodbye!"

After saying that, she angrily walked away.

Giorgio smiled after her.

This woman has quite the temper!

After Anna left the hospital, she received a phone call from Simon.

"Anna, I'm in the underground parking lot of the hospital. Your grandmother's situation is a bit complicated. Come over and we'll talk."

"Okay." Anna hung up the phone and quickly ran to the underground parking lot, easily finding Simon's car and getting in.

"What happened? Have you found my grandmother's ward?" Simon handed her some documents and said, "No, your grandmother did go through the admission procedures at our hospital three years ago, and her medical records have been updated, but she has never come to our hospital. In other words, it's a fake medical record."

"What! Then where did Katherine arrange for my grandmother to go? Katherine has been deceiving her for years!" Anna exclaimed angrily, taking out her phone to call Katherine, but Simon stopped her.

"Don't rush. If she didn't tell you, she must have another plan. Calling her now will only alert her, and she might move your grandmother again, making it impossible for you to find her forever," Simon said.

Anna knew that Katherine was capable of such things. "So, what should I do?" she asked.

Simon replied, "Who is she? Tell me her identity, and I might be able to help with the investigation directly."

"She... is my own sister, Katherine. But it's not something I can easily disclose. After all, I don't want the world to know about our estrangement and I'm afraid to ask why we are not on good terms," Anna pursed her lips.

She thought that by saying this, he would be angry, since she was asking for his help without explaining the situation clearly. However, Simon didn't get angry. On the contrary, he understood and said, "No need to apologize. Everyone has their own reasons. In that case, I'll have my father use his medical connections to search for her using the patient's name, but it's like finding a needle in a haystack. It will take some time, but I'll try to speed it up."

At the moment, there was no other option. Anna nodded gratefully and said, "Thank you."

Simon smiled warmly and asked, "You have something on your lip. Is it inflamed?"

When reminded of this incident, Anna became even more enraged. She clenched her fists and nodded, saying, "Yes, it's inflamed!"

"Then, would you like to have an ice cream?" Simon suggested.

"Haha, you really understand a girl's heart. Let's go," Anna replied.

As their calm and understated car exited the hospital underground garage, they coincidentally encountered a luxurious car.

Passing each other, Little Tony noticed, "Hey, isn't that Miss Stefanelli and Simon?"

Giorgio followed his gaze and saw Anna and Simon with smiling faces inside the car with the window open. His face immediately turned cold.

Hah, she was just angry with him a moment ago, but as soon as she turned around, she was all smiles with Simon?

An invisible flame of anger surged within him, but he quickly reminded himself that he had already decided to get engaged to Katherine. Why should he care about what she does with other men?

"Drive," he commanded.

On the other hand, Anna was enjoying spending time with Simon. Anna and Simon strolled down the charming, sunlit street, the sweet aroma of freshly baked waffles and ice cream wafting through the air. It was a perfect summer afternoon, and their laughter filled the air with joy. They reached the ice cream parlor, and Anna's eyes sparkled with delight as she scanned the colorful array of flavors.

Simon couldn't help but admire Anna's enthusiasm as she struggled to choose between classic vanilla and decadent chocolate fudge. "Can't decide, huh?" he teased, a warm smile on his face.

Anna giggled, playfully nudging him. "It's so hard to choose! They all look so delicious."

"Well, why not try a scoop of each?" Simon suggested, pointing at the small sampler cups.

"You're a genius!" Anna exclaimed, and together they ordered their ice cream choices.

As they sat at a cozy corner table, Anna savored the first spoonful of vanilla while Simon dove into his chocolate fudge with equal delight.

Throughout the conversation, a subtle tension lingered between them, a magnetic connection that neither dared to acknowledge. They both felt it—the unspoken words that lingered on the tip of their tongues, too afraid to be uttered.

Simon watched Anna, her eyes shining with happiness, and his heart swelled with affection. He admired her warmth, her kindness, and her passion for life.

As they finished their ice cream, Simon suggested they take a leisurely stroll in the nearby park. They walked side by side, their shoulders occasionally brushing against each other, sending a tingling sensation through the both of them. They stopped to admire a beautiful sunset, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange.

As the day turned into twilight, they found themselves sitting on a bench beneath a canopy of stars. The romantic atmosphere seemed to heighten the unspoken tension between them.

Simon drove her home, and Anna felt the remnant of happiness in her body long after they had parted.
