Chapter 505 Anna, Wait Until You're Willing
The nexrt second, Anna's throat was locked, and Dr. Johnson's arms were thick and strong, dragging her backward.
She struggled desperately, using her elbow to strike back hard, hitting his ribs.
At the same time, she lowered her head and bit his arm.
Dr. Johnson, in pain, instinctively let go of Anna, but his anger grew. He grabbed her arm and threw her forcefully.
Anna fell to the ground, her head hitting a large vase, causing her to feel dizzy.
"Why are you pretending to be so virtuous? I help you, and instead of being grateful, you have the audacity to hit me? Now you want to burn bridges. You think it's that easy? Let me tell you, we're bound together tightly."
Dr. Johnson finished angrily, grabbed a prepared bottle of liquid, pinched Anna's jaw, and poured it in.
Anna choked, clutching her throat, yelling, "What did you make me drink?"
Dr. Johnson squatted down, his expression sinister, looking deeply at her. "Of course, it's to record our intimate video and keep it for future cooperation."
As he finished speaking, his large hand reached for her, landing on her clothes.
"No, don't!" Anna panicked.
The next second, the office door was kicked open from the outside.
Giorgio's tall and noble figure strode in.
He kicked Dr. Johnson on the shoulder, knocking him away, then bent down and picked up Anna.
"Take him away and deal with him properly," he coldly ordered.
"Yes, Mr. Vittorio." Two bodyguards stepped forward and swiftly restrained Dr. Johnson.
Dr. Johnson panicked suddenly. "No, Mr. Vittorio, it's not what you think, it's Katherine, she—"
Before he could finish, his mouth was stuffed with rough cloth.
Giorgio ignored his shouts, carrying Anna out of the office and heading towards the ward.
His embrace was strong and comforting, carrying his unique pleasant scent.
Anna felt surrounded by a sense of security, her fear gradually subsiding.
Looking at his well-defined and exquisite face, she couldn't help but recall his arrogance and coldness from the previous night, complaining, "I am Katherine."
Giorgio's steps paused slightly, his gaze falling on her small face, saying, "If role-playing can make you feel better, I don't mind."
Anna glared at him fiercely, then looked away, ignoring him.
Giorgio chuckled softly, carrying her into the ward and gently laying her on the surgical bed.
"Rest well. I'll handle everything else." With that, he tucked her in and prepared to leave.
A warmth rose in Anna's heart, and she grabbed his hand, softly saying, "Giorgio, don't go."
Actually, the issues between her and him were all Katherine's schemes. She had already lost her grandmother and didn't want to lose him because of this. And she needed him now.
Her hand moved up his arm.
Giorgio's tall figure stiffened, his eyes darkening with intense emotion.
He looked at her intently, asking, "Are you drugged?"
Anna, still somewhat conscious, nodded lightly. "Yes, he drugged. Giorgio, save me."
Giorgio was a bit shocked.
"Calm down, I'll get a doctor." With that, he stood up to leave.
He liked her but wouldn't make love to her when she was in this state.
However, Anna got up and hugged his broad and cold body, murmuring, "Mr. Vittorio, let's start over."
Her soft and pleasant voice fell into his heart like a feather.
Giorgio's gaze deepened, and he turned, holding the back of her head, saying, "Okay." His voice was hoarse, his eyes full of emotion.
Just when Anna thought he was going to kiss her, his thin lips parted, rational and steady. "But I won't let you do something you'll regret." With that, he struck the back of her head.
Anna's body stiffened. The next second, she passed out.
Giorgio held her, brushing the hair from her face.
Even though her hairstyle, makeup, and clothes were identical to Katherine's, and their faces looked the same, she always made him feel comfortable.
He gently kissed her forehead, whispering, "Anna, I'll wait for you to be willing."
Inside the morgue.
Dr. Johnson was beaten black and blue, with a hole in his forehead, looking miserable.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps approached.
He lifted his swollen eyelids to see the noble and powerful Giorgio, who was exuding a chilling aura, even more terrifying than the coldness of the morgue!
"Mr. Vittorio! It's not my fault, listen to me. A few years ago, Ms. Stefanelli asked me to help turn a patient into a vegetative state. I had to agree under pressure. The previous surgery was also under her orders."
He continued, "Now Ms. Stefanelli wants to let me to take the blame alone. Look, the wound on my forehead is her doing. I had no choice. Mr. Vittorio, please, give me a chance! I know I was wrong!"
He sincerely pleaded, his blood staining the ground, strikingly conspicuous.
Giorgio's cold and handsome face showed no emotion, his tall figure like a god.
"Chance? In my principle, there's no chance for criminals. Which hand did you use to hurt her and drug her?"
His cold voice was extremely oppressive.
Hearing that, Dr. Johnson's face turned pale.
He hadn't expected Giorgio didn't mind Katherine's actions at all and still protected her.
"No answer? Then it's both hands?" Giorgio raised an eyebrow coldly, looking at the bodyguard beside him, ordering, "Disable both his hands."
Bodyguard nodded. "Yes."
Immediately, the morgue was filled with cries of agony.
Giorgio returned to the office, his face icy after watching the contents of the USB drive.
He said, "Tony, what do you think of this?"
Tony was also shocked. He never thought Katherine was such a person, and he had thought she was better than Anna!
He whispered, "Mr. Vittorio, Katherine's actions are indeed excessive, but her current status is tied to you and The Vittorio's shares, so we must consider carefully before making a decision."
"That makes sense." Giorgio tapped his fingers on the table, then said, "First, I need to annul the marriage."
Hearing that, Tony was stunned.
.
Viviana would kill him if she knew it was his suggestion.
However, Giorgio ignored him, stood up, grabbed his car keys, and left for the estate.
Katherine was currently trimming the flowers in the yard when she noticed something shiny in the soil. She frowned and picked it up. It was a haripin.
'A hairpin? How could there be a woman's hairpin here?' she pondered.
Just as she was wondering, the sound of a car arriving reached her ears.
Katherine turned and saw Giorgio's car, immediately putting the hairpin away and walking over with a smile. "Giorgio, you're back."
She had gone to the hospital to check on him in the morning, and he came back in the afternoon. She thought he cared about her to some extent.
Giorgio glanced at her, his words cold as ice."Today, we announce our divorce."
Katherine's pupils widened at his words, her body shaking violently.
Since Anna disappeared, he had been so good to her, and she thought nothing could come between them.
And now he was talking about divorce?
Anna asked, "Giorgio, why?"
