Chapter 524 Anna Got Jealous

In the afternoon, around six o'clock, Giorgio arrived at the studio and didn't see Anna at her desk. He frowned slightly, asking Lucia, "Where is she?"

Lucia stood up, replying, "She's in the restroom."

Then she whispered, "She wanted to answer some questions this afternoon, but got the first one wrong. She's in a pretty bad mood."

Lucia said that deliberately, feeling that Anna needed some comfort right now.

Hearing that, Giorgio's frown deepened.

Answering questions? That dating app?

He hadn't expected Anna actually had thoughts about it.

"Thanks," Giorgio said to Lucia indifferently.

Just as he finished speaking, Anna came out of the restroom. Seeing Giorgio, she was surprised. "You're off work so early today?"

"Yeah, I'm taking you to meet someone." Giorgio naturally took her hand, asking gently, "Are you tired from work? Do you want to rest for a bit first?"

"No need. I'm never tired when I'm at the studio." Their work was only tiring during shoots.

After saying goodbye to Lucia, Anna left with him.

She thought it would be like before, meeting one of his respected elders, so she didn't think much of it.

However, when they arrived at the upscale and secretive restaurant, she was stunned.

Sitting at the table was Lola, with stylish shoulder-length wavy hair, a delicate face, fair skin, and red lips. She wore a white pantsuit that exuded a refined aura and made her legs look even longer.

The ruby watched on her wrist and the jewelry on her ears was exquisite and expensive, exuding an air of elegance and sophistication. Lola was someone who perfectly embodied the aura of a strong, independent woman.

She was truly beautiful, not overly domineering to the point of being unlikable. Instead, her delicate face, combined with her aura, was incredibly captivating.

With her presence, Anna instantly felt ordinary and insignificant, her palms tightening involuntarily.

She had no idea that Giorgio was taking her to meet Lola. Had she known, she would have changed clothes and put on some makeup to avoid looking so disheveled. At this moment, she felt utterly embarrassed.

Meanwhile, Lola was also sizing up Anna.

Anna was simple and clean, with lively and clear eyes, looking very young.

But, Katherine?

No, she wasn't Katherine. Katherine didn't have that clean aura; she must be Katherine's sister, Anna.

So, the type Giorgio said he liked was Anna, who was exactly like Katherine?

Lola realized that what moved Giorgio was Anna's soul, not her appearance.

When someone fell in love with another's soul, it was hard to change.

Lola put away the coldness in her eyes, stood up, and greeted warmly, "Hello, Miss Stefanelli. I'm Lola. It's an honor to meet you for the first time."

In front of her, Anna felt really insignificant. She said, "Hi, I'm Anna. It's an honor for me too. I saw you on the news a few days ago and really admire your achievements. You're also very beautiful and capable."

Lola smiled. "Thank you, Ms. Stefanelli, no need to flatter me. Please, have a seat and see what you'd like to eat." With that, she kindly handed over the menu.

Giorgio said softly to Anna, "You can order anything you like. Miss Quinn is a long-time friend, so consider her a friend too. No need to be reserved."

"Okay," Anna nodded.

Her eyes fell on the menu, but she felt a wave of awkwardness. The dishes were all high-end seafood and various cuisines she had never seen before, let alone eaten. How would she eat them when they were served?

"Mr. Vittorio, the usual?" Lola asked Giorgio at this moment. Seeing him nod slightly, she calmly and skillfully ordered a few dishes from the waiter.

'So, they often come here, and their tastes are the same,' Anna pondered.

Anna suddenly realized she didn't know Giorgio well enough.

In the past, when she was by his side, she only saw Katherine and Edith. She thought they were the women around him that she couldn't compare to.

But now she realized that in his social circle, there were people who were truly as successful in their work and compatible in life as he was. These life philosophies and values were the real barriers between them.

For example, while they were ordering those cuisines, she just wanted to eat pizza right now.

"What's wrong?" Giorgio asked softly when he saw she wasn't ordering. "Didn't see anything you like? Sorry, it's Miss Quinn's birthday today, so I let her choose the place. If you don't like the dishes here, we can go somewhere else."

Another birthday! He didn't even mention it!

And the way he said it made her seem very inconsiderate.

"No, I'm just debating whether to eat or not." Anna forced a smile, flipped through the menu, and then said, "I had a pot of oysters for lunch, and I'm still full. I'll just have some soup for now."

Giorgio placed his hand on her stomach, teasing, "Who told you to stuff yourself and not share with me? Should I get you some digestive enzymes?" His magnetic voice, the warmth of his gentle hand, every detail was so pampering! It was intoxicating!

Anna blushed with embarrassment. "No need. I'm fine. Let's just leave it at that."

Then, she smiled at Lola, "Miss Quinn, I'm sorry, Giorgio didn't tell me it was your birthday. I didn't prepare anything, so I can only wish you a happy birthday verbally. I'll make it up to you later!"

Lola was a bit lost in thought at this moment.

She had seen many sides of Giorgio, serious at work, calm and handsome at rest, furious when angry, elegant and eloquent with clients, and even wild and vigorous during sports.

But she had never seen him so gently caring for a woman, with tenderness in his eyes, which was too surprising, too unexpected, and intoxicating.

She really didn't expect him to have such a side.

"Miss Quinn?" Anna asked nervously when she saw Lola staring at her and Giorgio.

The next second, Lola snapped back to reality, took a sip of water, and said, "It's nothing, Ms. Stefanelli. I'm already very happy that you could come. By the way, Ms. Stefanelli, did you download that app for the test?"

Lola had downloaded it and gotten the results so she was inexplicably curious about Anna's answers.

Anna's face stiffened at the mention of this. She blurted out, "No, I wanted to do it this afternoon, but the first question stumped me, and then I got busy with work, so I didn't continue."

She was too embarrassed to admit she got the first question wrong!

"Did Miss Quinn do it?" She was inexplicably curious.

Lola didn't hide it and nodded. "Yes, I did ten questions and got them all right."

Ten questions all correct!

"Oh my god! You actually guess Giorgio's preferences correctly? That's amazing!" Anna couldn't help but exclaim, genuinely impressed.

Then she added, "Miss Quinn, can you give me a hint for the first question?"

Lola looked at Anna's wide-eyed, shocked expression, as if she had done something incredible, and humbly smiled. "It's simple, really. No need to overthink it. The answer is only one, and that's 'A.'"
