Chapter 479 Mr. Vittorio, Save Anna
Anna glanced at her phone and saw the bombshell news flash across the screen.

In the GIF, Katherine was in some fancy villa garden, straight-up kicking a cat. The poor snow-white kitten tried to get away after the first kick, but then she stomped on it again, making it yowl in pain. Finally, it just lay there, barely moving, foaming at the mouth.

The internet was on fire! Anna couldn't believe Katherine would do something so horrible to a kitten.
"That's just evil! She should be locked up!" Sara fumed next to her.
Then she noticed something and said, "Hey, the cat's owner is actually reporting her. She might end up in jail this time."
Anna kept scrolling through the news.
In Crownhaven, abusing and killing small animals could get you three days in the slammer. For worse cases, more than half a month. With this mess, Katherine was definitely in hot water.
Just then, her phone rang. Anna checked and saw it was Franklin, someone she hadn't heard from in ages. She never thought he'd call her.
"Anna? Where are you? Come back." His voice was unusually soft.
As her biological dad, he'd never talked to her like this before. Anna felt a weird pang in her chest, sensing something was up. Plus, she had to wait for Elodie's surgery to finish and had no time.
"Dad, I'm super busy and can't come back. Just tell me over the phone."
Maybe because of that rare gentleness, she called him 'Dad.'
Franklin thought she was being cooperative, so he said, "Did you see the news about Katherine? I need you to tell everyone it was you who did it. You can ask for anything in return."
So that's what this was about. He called, using such sweet tone, to beg for Katherine!
Hearing that, Anna's heart sank, and she sneered, "No way!"
With that, she hung up.
Franklin didn't expect Anna to say no. He was first shocked, then stunned, and finally, his face twisted in anger. 'Damn it! Ungrateful brat!' he cursed to himself.
"Anna? What got you so mad?" Sara asked, curious and worried.
Anna shook her head and said, "Nothing, just a snake dreaming, coming out to disgust me."
In this world, the only family who truly cared for her was Elodie. She didn't know how much longer the surgery would take. She looked anxiously at the operating room door.
Suddenly, the door opened! Anna jumped up and asked, "Doctor, is the surgery done?"
"No. It will take at least another five hours." The doctor said, "Ms. Stefanelli wants you to go in."
Katherine? Anna was curious and changed into sterile medical clothes to go in.
"Anna, about the news, you need to handle it." As soon as she walked in, Katherine, lying on the operating table, ordered. Right, it was an order, not a request.
It seemed the cold-blooded snake had raised a daughter just as heartless!
Anna said coldly, "Why? I didn't agree to this. Do you think you can always use me as your scapegoat?"
Katherine's face went rigid. She hadn't expected to be caught on camera, let alone have it go viral! If this wasn't fixed, her reputation would be toast!
She took a deep breath and said, "Look, I gotta stay here in case something goes down. But the cops are already on my case, telling me to come in ASAP. You want me to bail now?"
"You!" Anna stopped short. She hadn't expected Katherine to be so shameless, threatening her right now.
Anna said, "You can go after today."
"That'll just make things worse and get me arrested!" Katherine's voice got louder, her emotions all over the place. Then, she looked at Anna and said, "Help me one more time! This time, you can use it to have Giuseppe announce a breakup, and you can head back to Vista Heights, disappearing from Crownhaven. It's a win for you."
Katherine added, "In return, I'll cover your grandma's hospital and medical bills in Vista Heights. Otherwise, I'm outta here now. You get what that means, right?"
Her tone was rising. She was using the sweetest voice to say the most venomous things!
Anna clenched her fists, not wanting to agree. But she felt like she couldn't say no.
"Katherine, the most disgusting thing in my life is being your sister. After this, we're done!" With that, she turned and walked out.
Katherine knew Anna had agreed. A smile curled on her lips.
'Don't worry, there won't be a next time,' Katherine thought.
Half an hour later, Anna posted on her Instagram:
