Chapter 33 Her Gentle Nature
At the same time, a great force fell upon Black Jack.
"Bang!" Black Jack let out a miserable scream and instinctively let go of Anna, falling into the flower pond behind him.
Anna fell into the embrace; only then did she react and raised her eyes to see the tall and noble figure standing in the morning light. He stood with the light behind him, like an angel descending from the sky. His face under the light became mysterious and profound, incredibly handsome.
Giorgio!
Giorgio's sharp gaze scanned Anna's body, making sure she was unharmed, before retracting his eyes. His gaze fell coldly and indifferently on Black Jack:
"It seems the punishment I gave you yesterday was far from enough."
His tone was cold, cruel, and reminiscent of an emperor mocking the lowly commoners.
Black Jack was startled, "It's you? You punished me?" He thought it was Simon...
Giorgio let out a disdainful snort and took out his phone to call Little Tony, "Arrest Black Jack at the villa within three minutes."
So, it really was him!
Black Jack became enraged. He had just touched a woman, what wealthy man didn't play around like him? Pursuing novelty and excitement? As a result, because of this man, his family business and company were destroyed! His life was gone!
Damn it! I'll kill him and Anna!
"You both can go to hell!"
Black Jack crazily took out a knife and charged at Giorgio and Anna.
This ugly, fat bastard really was like a cockroach that couldn't be killed!
Anna took out her personal safety baton and prepared to strike him...
Before she could make a move, a gentle force suddenly pulled her behind him. In an instant, she became a weak and protected being, with the tall figure of the man standing in front of her.
It felt as if there was a warm city wall protecting her, something she hadn't felt since Alessandro left. Giorgio actually...
Giorgio's face turned cold, his eyebrows raised, and with a swift kick, he fiercely kicked Black Jack.
Black Jack was struck in the abdomen and let out a muffled groan. Perhaps it was out of madness or maybe it was the final struggle of a person on the verge of death, but he refused to back down. He stubbornly clung to Giorgio, slashing and stabbing wildly.
With a loud crash, Giorgio was caught off guard and a blood mark was slashed on his leg.
He frowned and, taking advantage of Black Jack's excitement, increased his strength and delivered a final blow to Black Jack.
"Bang!" Black Jack's fat body collapsed, and he groaned in pain before passing out.
Little Tony arrived and seeing Giorgio injured, his face turned pale, "I'm sorry, Mr. Vittorio, I arrived late!"
Giorgio's sharp gaze coldly scanned him, lifting his lips, "Little Tony, I seriously doubt your abilities."
His voice was icy to the extreme, referring to Black Jack's escape.
Little Tony shivered, "Mr. Vittorio, I didn't expect someone to conspire with Black Jack to help him escape. I was going to report it last night, but... I forgot due to some delays. I've been conducting an investigation, but I didn't expect him to dare come here." Usually, the farther they run, the better.
Giorgio's stern face did not change in the slightest. He lifted his lips, his voice exceptionally cold, "This is not the time for explanations. Handle today's affairs properly, otherwise, don't come to see me."
"Yes." Little Tony watched as Giorgio took a tablet, pulling Anna into the villa, feeling uneasy.
Why does it feel like Mr. Vittorio becomes so cold when it comes to Anna?
It seems that Anna cannot be described with ordinary words when it comes to Mr. Vittorio...
Inside the villa.
Giorgio pulled Anna back to the room.
Anna's mind was filled with thoughts of her sister, unaware that her hand was being held by him. How should she handle this? How difficult must it be for her sister to go through such things?
"What are you thinking?" His deep and magnetic voice came from above her head.
Anna raised her eyes and saw the handsome face and profound eyes of the man, quickly shaking her head, "Nothing... I wasn't thinking about anything."
She subconsciously glanced at the tablet in his hand and felt a tremor of pain in her heart. Although her relationship with her sister was not good and they hadn't been together since they were young, they were still blood-related sisters, both girls, and such things were too terrifying...
Giorgio saw her pale face looking at the tablet and a hint of unbeknownst tenderness flickered in his eyes. He spoke, "Don't think too much, Little Tony will handle it, and today's events won't be leaked."
He was calm, steady, and gave people a sense of reassurance.
Anna let out a sigh of relief, that's good.
She felt the back of her hand grow warm and lowered her gaze, realizing that her small hand was being held by his large hand. His hand was wide, warm, and calloused from years of work. It was a characteristic of a mature man, making her heart flutter.
She panicked and pulled her hand back, "How is your wound?"
Giorgio raised an eyebrow. After everything that had just happened, she still had the presence of mind to worry about others? How strong was her mental fortitude? Or maybe, as the information stated... she was used to this sort of thing and didn't care at all?
This thought made him inexplicably unhappy and he gave a cold snort, "It's fine."
He turned and went upstairs, leaving behind several drops of blood on the floor wherever he walked.
Anna furrowed her eyebrows. Was he even a normal person? He was so heavily injured, yet he could walk without even twitching an eyebrow.
"Um... let me treat your wound..."
Giorgio stopped in his tracks, turned his gaze to her, and stared at her intently.
Anna felt uneasy under his gaze and explained, "Don't misunderstand. I am a person who repays debts and favors. You just protected me, so it's only right for me to help you. I should've helped you earlier with what happened just now." Thinking back on what happened just now, she couldn't help but feel moved.
He, it seemed, wasn't as bad as she had imagined.
"Or, if you mind, you can stop the bleeding first and wait for Dr. Shaw to come and treat you."
Giorgio retracted his gaze, his voice indifferent, "Go to the medical room."
"Uh, okay." Anna followed him.
It wasn't that she wanted to treat him, it was just that he had left drops of blood on the floor and she felt guilty.
The medical room was clean and quiet, just like last night.
Anna walked in and subconsciously thought about last night when he kissed her. Her cheeks flushed, she took a deep breath and walked over to change the subject, "Lie down on the surgical bed, I'll go get some medicine and supplies."
Giorgio let out a soft hum and elegantly removed his belt, taking off his trousers. Several bloodstains were left on his legs, and he realized that the wound was deeper than he had thought.
"Bring hot water first." He had a cleanliness fetish and couldn't stand it otherwise.
Anna nodded, turned around, and then saw Giorgio sitting on the edge of the bed without his trousers. Those legs were long and white, with taut muscles exuding a wild masculine charm, making her nose heat up.
He was too perfect! He was simply the epitome of a man among men, a demon among demons!
Ugh, she was drooling over an injured patient, her sister's fiancé. How could she be so shameless?
She quickly suppressed her thoughts and ran into the small bathroom inside.
Soon, she brought a basin of warm water.
"Don't move, I don't want you to accidentally aggravate the wound. I'll clean it for you." Anna walked over, placed the water on the ground, and wrung a towel before gently wiping away the blood.
She was very skilled and natural, having taken care of Penny, helping her bathe and wash off mud since they were young. As she wiped away the blood, the ghastly wound was revealed, causing a pang of pain.
She was extremely careful with her every move, trying to be as gentle as possible.
Giorgio's deep gaze fell on Anna's face, and his eyes took on a hint of sensuality that even he hadn't noticed.
He had noticed how tenderly she took care of Charlie, and now, seeing the same tenderness directed towards himself, it felt incredibly wonderful.
It felt like a gentle spring breeze blowing, caressing the willows and the water, genuinely gentle.
Especially when her small hand accidentally touched him, lightly and tingling, his entire body couldn't resist…
