Chapter 549 Anna, Don't Refuse

In the dim night, the car that stopped was the familiar Maybach.

The car door opened, and Giorgio stepped out, dressed in a black tailored suit, with his buttons and tie neatly fastened, exuding an aura of noble restraint.

Upon see him, Anna widened her eyes in surprise and amazement, syaing, "Giorgio? What are you doing here?"

Giorgio saw Anna, and a flicker of surprise crossed his eyes.

For a moment, he understood. No wonder Howard had just sent a message saying there was an urgent matter that required his presence; it turned out Anna was here.

He didn't reveal this, and walked over, saying, "Just came to see my uncle. What are you doing here?"

After a few days apart, Anna smelled his familiar and pleasant scent, feeling a bit moved and awkward. "I'm here to learn some skills from him. Your uncle is my teacher now. It's been a few days, and I thought you were busy, so I didn't tell you."

'No wonder she has been so busy these past few days, barely responding to messages or texts,' he thought.

Giorgio looked at her and noticed that Anna seemed to have lost some weight, but her eyes were more lively and full of energy.

At this moment, her awkward and helpless look was like a kitten's paw, stirring his heart.

Giorgio extended his long arm, pulling her into his embrace, lowering his head, wanting to kiss her.

After a few days apart, he missed her scent intensely. Once they met, he found it hard to suppress his desires.

"No." Anna quickly pushed him away, blushing, and raised her hand to keep a distance between their bodies.

Giorgio raised an eyebrow, his eyes deep.

Before, when he kissed her, although she didn't respond actively, he could feel that she liked it.

He said, a bit disappointed, "What? A few days apart and you're distant? Or are you shy?"

Anna shook her head. "No, aren't you Lola's boyfriend now? You should be careful. You also said before that we shouldn't meet or do these intimate things."

Indeed, dating Lola was different from dealing with Katherine.

With Katherine, he had no feelings and had clearly warned her that he would never touch her and could only provide material things. So, even if he liked another girl, he wouldn't feel guilty.

But with Lola, it was out of respect for Viviana, wanting to fulfill Viviana's last wish seriously. At the same time, he had asked Lola to cooperate. If rumors spread, it would be bad for Lola and also hurt Anna.

Therefore, Giorgio had previously thought of sending Anna to Frostgate.

But Anna refused to go there, he then considered keeping a distance temporarily.

But now that Anna was right in front of him, he just wanted to taste her scent to relieve the longing and suppression of the past few days.

However, Anna was more aware of the situation than he was, actively distancing herself, which made him a bit frustrated.

Giorgio lifted her chin and bit her lip, saying, "These are things I should worry about. When I want to kiss you, don't refuse."

Anna had to admit that she really had no way to resist him and after not seeing him for a few days, she didn't want to argue with him.

She asked, "Are you hungry? I'll make you a snack."

Giorgio indeed hadn't had much of an appetite these past few days. He lightly hummed, releasing her.

Then, he stepped inside.

The workshop was filled with a pile of wood, crafts, stones, and various other materials.

Amidst the chaos, there was an artistic atmosphere, which Giorgio admired.

After a while, Howard came out of the room.

Actually, he had been secretly watching the two of them before, and now he deliberately found an opportunity to come out.

Howard sounded serious. "Giorgio, there are some things I need to talk to you about. Listen carefully."

Giorgio raised an eyebrow. Knowing Howard for so long, he rarely used this tone with him, making him curious.

"Uncle, go ahead."

Howard said, "I've been following the news about you and Lola, and I know you're doing it to fulfill your grandmother's will. But the dead are gone, and the living are more important. You should think about your own happiness and not lose someone as good as Anna for a will."

These days, he had witnessed Anna's ability to endure hardship, her lack of complaints, her willingness to work, her good attitude, and her positive energy.

Nowadays, it was rare to find a girl who could maintain such an attitude.

He emphasized again, "If you lose her, you'll regret it, more than you did with the previous girl."

Giorgio's eyes darkened.

He naturally understood this principle, which was why he was very considerate of Anna's feelings.

Giorgio said, "I'm not sure what you mean, Uncle. She and I are doing well now."

"Is that so" Howard retorted, "You appear in the news with Lola five times in three days. Are you sure there's no problem? Anna is a girl. No matter how tolerant and generous, she will be affected. I'm telling you, if you don't treat her well, I'll introduce her to my grandson."

Although Howard was not married, he had an adopted grandson.

Giorgio coldly said, "Uncle, you must be joking. I'm going to the kitchen to see her."

"Who's joking? I'm serious!" Howard cursed angrily and went back to his room.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Anna was busy in front of the kitchenware.

Her figure under the soft light was obedient, virtuous, and skillful.

Giorgio saw her and walked over. "Let me do it."

The kitchenware in her hand was suddenly taken by Giorgio, and Anna was surprised, saying, "Why did you come in? Let me do it. You haven't done it before, and it wouldn't be good if you burned your hand."

She remembered Charlie saying that Giorgio couldn't cook.

Giorgio said, "I can handle this small task." His voice had an undeniable steadiness.

Anna had to step aside, watching him. Although his movements were not skillful, they were very elegant.

She couldn't help but think that if one day she could eat the food he made, it would be a very happy thing.

After Giorgio finished the cooking, he noticed Anna looking at him deeply with her beautiful eyes.

He put down the plate and pressed her against the kitchen wall behind her, whispering, "Like looking at me? How about a closer look?"

Anna was suddenly pressed, her body between the wall and his, her breath filled with his strong hormonal scent.

She tensed up. "Giorgio I wasn't."

"Not looking at me? Am I not good-looking, or do you want to look at other men?" Giorgio gently stroked her long hair, his words teasing.

Anna adjusted her breath and said, "No, you're good-looking, and I don't want to look at other men."

"Anna." Giorgio interrupted her, his gaze deep and dark as he looked into her eyes.

For a full five seconds, he spoke from his moderately thick lips, "Other than work, I have no other contact with Lola. Don't overthink it, okay?" His hoarse voice was a statement, almost an explanation.

Anna had never asked or been angry, but his sudden explanation made her heart tremble, and even the small displeasure she felt during dinner disappeared.

She looked up at him seriously. "Then what about meeting Mrs. Quinn with her? Isn't that something outside of work?"
