Chapter 465 Call Giorgio Dad

Anna cautiously explained, fearing he might get angry.

In reality, she was indeed helpless.

After leaving the Vittorio Estate, both Katherine and the Stefanelli family would undoubtedly cause trouble for her. She needed a sanctuary where they would have difficulty finding her and wouldn't dare to harm her.

That house was the only one that no one dared to touch.

Moreover, that cold house, in the eyes of others, belonged to that deceased girl.

But to her, it symbolized Giorgio's sealed and dead heart. She longed to help him rekindle it and preserve the happiness of the past.

It all depended on whether Giorgio was willing to agree.

As she suggested, his handsome face remained calm and mysterious.

No one knew what he was thinking.

Just when Anna thought he wouldn't agree, his voice rang out, "Alright. I'll have Tony get you some supplies."

Hearing his agreement, Anna was instantly overjoyed, her eyes sparkling.

She had asked him about it, just out of necessity. But his agreement felt entirely like he was pampering, and indulging her.

Just like a lover who would give his beloved anything she wanted.

She not only felt sweet and moved but also felt a love she had never experienced before.

"Thank you, Daddy!" Anna remarked playfully.

Daddy?

The two kids widened their eyes, looking confused.

Giorgio's mouth twitched into a frown. 'What kind of address is that?' he thought.

Facing the curious gazes of one adult and two kids, Anna awkwardly explained, "It's just an internet term or slang, not that kind of daddy that you commonly use. It's a term that represents deep gratitude, affection, or asking for forgiveness. It's like Sugardaddy or something."

Anna quickly diverted the subject, saying, "Oh, I'm going to pack my things. You guys take your time eating."

She left with a flushed face.

Giorgio watched her back, a deep smile forming on his lips, indulgent and special.

Anna never expected to run into Katherine at the entrance of Maple Valley Estates.

Katherine looked very upset, and very angry. As soon as she saw Anna, her pretty face twisted.

"Anna, you broke up with Giuseppe. You got what you wanted, didn't you? You're really a bitch, a hypocrite who is always claiming you don't like Giorgio and would stay away from him, yet you ended up sleeping with him. You're just a bitch," Katherine cursed mercilessly, with filthy language.

Anna stared at her, perhaps feeling a bit guilty and ashamed, but was more angry.

Anna retorted, "Do you know that your condition almost worsened Charlie's illness, trapping him for life? Do you know that what you told Giuseppe almost put him in a predicament, ruining his entire life?"

She continued, "Katherine, don't criticize me as if you're absolutely right. Think about what you've done and whether you have the right to do so."

Anna added, "Oh, and don't threaten to tell the world about my affairs. I also have evidence of you and Giuseppe being together, as well as recordings of our conversations. If you release anything, I'll send mine out, too."

This time, Anna took the initiative.

"You!" Katherine's chest heaved with anger, her hands clenched tightly.

Katherine accused, "So, you're officially declaring war on me to win Giorgio's heart?"

Anna pressed her lips and said, "I said, if it's yours, no one can take it away. I never intended to steal him from you. He chose me. If you are truly deserving, then make him choose you instead."

With that, she stepped directly into Maple Valley Estates.

Katherine stood there, furious, wishing she could stomp Anna to death and feed her to the beasts!

Once in the car, she overturned everything as she screamed, "Ah!"

"Damn, Anna! Find a way to kill her! I won't allow her to flaunt in front of me anymore!" Katherine demanded, furiously.

Rebecca, looking anxious, handed over a bottle of water and rationally comforted, "Katherine, we've already tried to kill her several times and failed, which means she's tough. If we try again, it will easily expose our previous actions."

Rebecca added, "In my opinion, we should try a different approach. Don't you still have a bargaining chip?"

Hearing that, Katherine, still angry, asked, "What bargaining chip?"

Rebecca said, "That bitch's grandmother, whom she values the most."

Right!

That old hag!

She had used her to control Anna for years. Now, it was time to make the most of it!

"To the hospital," Katherine ordered.

Rebecca replied, "Yes."

Anna had very few things left at Giuseppe's place, and she packed up all her belongings in less than five minutes.

"I'll see you out," Giuseppe said as he walked up to her, took her luggage without allowing her to refuse.

"If you walk out alone with your suitcase, it will easily attract attention and suspicion. We'll go through the garage and drive out directly," he said.

This reason left Anna unable to argue. Helplessly, she nodded in agreement and followed him out.

What she didn't expect was that after the car arrived outside the house, Giuseppe put down her suitcase and then took out a pile of beautifully wrapped gift boxes from the trunk.

There were so many that they formed a small mountain!

"What, what is this?" Anna asked, she was astonished by the grand gesture.

Giuseppe, looking elegant and refined, said, "Some daily necessities for women. Since you're moving to a new place, you'll need them."

She did need them but she found it inappropriate to accept them.

"We've already drawn a line. You shouldn't be giving me these!" Anna chided. If Giorgio saw this, she wouldn't be able to explain.

However, Giuseppe's next words almost made Anna collapse.

He said, "Yes, we've drawn a line on our previous relationship, but I plan to pursue you in a new way and with a new identity."

Hearing that, Anna felt like a bomb had hit her. Her eyes widened in panic.

She hastily responded, "No, Giuseppe, that's not what you said yesterday."

Giuseppe calmly explained, "Anna, our previous relationship was based on my moral coercion and forceful methods, which were not honorable."

He added, "Liking someone should be done the right way. So, letting you go is also giving us a new beginning. This is my own decision. Whether you accept it or not, I have the right to pursue you."

Giuseppe's words left her speechless!

Moreover, he didn't give her a chance to respond. After saying that, he left with a smile.

Anna stood there, bewildered.

"Ms. Stefanelli, where did all these things come from?" Tony asked as he and his men moved the items inside, seeing the pile in the yard.

Anna was extremely embarrassed. "I, I bought them myself."

She couldn't let Tony know and report to Giorgio.

"Ms. Stefanelli, Mr. Vittorio asked me to buy everything you need. If he finds out you bought things yourself, he'll say I didn't do my job well," Tony said calmly as he had his men move everything inside and set it up.

She had originally planned to return the items to Giuseppe!

After spending a whole day, the house was finally set up.

Inside, it was simple and clean. Outside, the scenery was beautiful, with flowers and plants that filled the yard, which made her feel peaceful and pleasant.

Anna couldn't help but think of her childhood, living in the countryside with her grandmother, with a similar scenery.

Originally, she planned to secretly investigate her grandmother's whereabouts and take her away or ask Katherine for her grandmother's exact location.

But given the current situation, Katherine would likelykill her, let alone tell her where her grandmother was.

'Being with Giorgio, is it right or wrong?' she thought to herself.

While Anna was pondering, a sudden message notification sounded.
