However, once she stepped out of the house, her expression changed immediately. It became extremely grim and emotionless.
She yelled, "Anna! Stop right there!"
Anna paused and turned to look at Katherine. "What, are murderers now so righteous and loud?"
Katherine was taken aback, retorting, "Who are you calling a murderer? I'm telling you, I didn't kill your grandmother. Now that the evidence is clear, don't falsely accuse me."
Anna sneered, "You think I'll believe that? Katherine, your tricks and deceptions might fool others, but not me. For example, your affair with Giuseppe are not as romantic as you said so." Her tone was deliberately heavy, threatening, and deep.
Hearing that, Katherine's face turned pale, and she gritted her teeth, threatening, "Don't act all innocent in front of me while benefiting the most. After I announced the divorce, who benefited the most if not you? Don't think I don't know you want to become Mrs. Vittorio and be with Giorgio. So, Anna, I said I didn't kill your grandmother, and I didn't. Don't mess with me, or I'll expose everything about you and Giorgio! We'll both go down together!"
After saying that, she turned and left.
Anna stood there coldly, her face growing paler.
Was Katherine really that confident? If she were, she wouldn't use her and Giorgio's affair to threaten her.

After leaving the Stefanelli family Estate, Anna wandered aimlessly on the street.
After an unknown amount of time, a car horn sounded.
She turned her head and saw a luxurious Maybach and the distinguished, handsome Giorgio inside.
After not seeing him for a few days, he looked even more captivating and stunning.
"Giorgio? What are you doing here?"
Giorgio's eyes were deep. He had heard from Tom that Anna had come to Crownhaven and was surprised she came on the first day.
However, she didn't contact him but went to the Stefanelli family instead, which showed she didn't come to Crownhaven for him.
But at this moment, seeing Anna's red eyes and pale face, Giorgio's heart seemed to be tugged. He got out of the car and personally opened the door for her. "Get in the car first."
Anna responded faintly and got in the car, feeling her nose tingled.
No matter the news she saw yesterday or the confrontation with Katherine today, she didn't cry.
Nor did she feel wronged when Franklin scolded her.
