Chapter 536 Mr. Vittorio's Mrs. Right

Misunderstanding? Anna didn't feel that way.

She said, "Ms. Quinn, I was just sincerely giving my blessings. If you like Mr. Vittorio, you should really give it a try. He and I are not suitable for each other."

With that, she turned and left.

Lola stood there, bewildered.

Earlier, Giorgio had asked her to cover the perfect match for Anna, so how did things turn out like this?

And now that the matter has been made public, how should it be handled?

Lola found Giorgio and truthfully told him what happened today.

"Is that what she told my grandmother?" Giorgio rubbed his temples with his long fingers.

He had calculated everything to ensure there were no mistakes, but he hadn't expected that the night he had just talked to Lola, Anna would break up with him.

Given their current relationship, he really didn't know how to handle this matter.

"Yes, Ms. Stefanelli seems to be a straightforward person who doesn't bow to strong forces. No wonder you like her," Lola said lightly.

After speaking, she told Giorgio another matter. "But Ms. Stefanelli seems to have some misunderstanding about me. She thinks I should handle my relationship with your grandmother well and sincerely wishes me and you the best."

Blessings?

She forgot their relationship so quickly and was in such a hurry to see him with another woman?

"You go back first. I'll handle it," Giorgio said coldly.

After Lola left, he loosened his tie, feeling extremely agitated.

After a while, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

The next second,Giuseppe walked into the office, one hand in his pocket, looking relaxed, asking, "Uncle Giorgio, why are you unhappy? Now you can be with Anna openly, you should be celebrating."

Hearing this, Giorgio finally looked up, his cold gaze fixed on Giuseppe.

He dislikes Giuseppe, and now his tone was even colder. "I didn't want to argue with you about Katherine, and now you're reaching for Anna. On what ground do you get the nerve to mock me?"

The temperature in the room seemed to drop several degrees.

Giuseppe raised an eyebrow. "Mock? I was sincerely giving my blessings, no mockery intended. As for reaching for Anna, I told you I married Katherine for Anna's happiness. There's no possibility between us. Uncle Giorgio, you're so hostile. I'm wondering what did I do to make you misunderstand?"

As he spoke, he seemed to think of something, adding, "Could it be because of the two scandals? The first time, Anna saw me at the hospital and thought I was colluding with Katherine, misunderstanding me. I went to explain to her and told her something. I think you'll be pleased with that as I never slept with her."

Giorgio's eyes darkened. Never slept with her?

Giuseppe continued, "Back then, I had an episode and kept Anna by my side. After she fainted, I lied and said we slept together, so she thought she wasn't good enough for you and collaborated with Henry to test you. And later, she also thought the fake pregnancy incident was real and that she was carrying my child. In fact, I never slept with her that night.

When I told her the truth that night, she was very grateful. Other than that, there's nothing between us."

"As for today's news, I think you saw the surveillance too, Uncle Giorgio. I was just talking to her about the project. She even told me not to meet again to avoid misunderstandings."

Every word fell into Giorgio's ears, causing waves in his heart.

He realized the problem, stood up, and raised his eyebrows.  "If there's nothing between you two, why did she go to the office to personally deliver a meal to you that night?"

Giuseppe frowned slightly and adjusted his glasses, explaining, "That surprised me too. When I got off work and went downstairs, I saw her there. She said she cooked to thank me for telling her that matter, but she was very cold and didn't look well, clearly standing outside for a long time. If she came to see me, she should have come upstairs directly. Also, the food was all for stomach health, not my taste."

Standing outside for a long time, food for stomach health.

These two phrases caused a huge wave in his heart.

"Wasn't it for Mr. Giorgio Vittorio? I told Ms. Stefanelli before that Mr. Giorgio Vittorio had stomach problems and she should pay more attention," Tony suddenly spoke up from the corner.

The huge wave in Giorgio's heart surged again, and he looked over coldly. "When did you tell her that?"

The pressure was immense.

Tony immediately stood up and took out his phone, saying, "Just a few days ago, let me check the date, the 18th."

The 18th.

That was the day Giorgio asked Lola for help and saw Anna and Giuseppe in the office!

Damn it!

She must have come to deliver food to him and saw him and Lola leaving together.

Giorgio's heart was instantly filled with mixed emotions—joy, anger, regret!

He grabbed his phone and car keys and rushed out, leaving Tony and Giuseppe puzzled.

Outside the studio, Anna had just gotten out of the car when a middle-aged woman approached her.

She was dressed smartly, still very charming, and had a kind face, asking, "Hello, are you Miss Anna Stefanelli, not Katherine?"

Anna looked at her and nodded slightly. "Yes, I am. How can I help you?"

The woman immediately smiled. "Hello, I'm Lola's mother, Mia Davis."

'Lola's mother? No wonder she has such a good demeanor,' Anna thought.

"Miss Stefanelli, I'm here to ask for your help and discuss something with you," Mia said directly. "Lola was supposed to participate in the matching test, but the netizens boycotted her, so she had to give up. Then she used my account to take the test and scored 100."

"How is that possible? I thought there was no perfect score?" Anna was shocked and incredulous.

Mia quickly took out her phone, explaining "That's because of Mrs. Viviana Vittorio or Mr. Giorgio Vittorio or external factors, it was kept secret. Look, this is Lola's answer sheet and the recorded video."

Anna looked down and saw the video showing Lola's beautiful face, sometimes focused, sometimes frowning, and sometimes directly answering each question.

The final matching result indeed showed 100 scores.

Lola really understood Giorgio so well that she scored 100!

Even though she had broken up with Giorgio, Anna still felt bitter after knowing this.

She had thought she lost because of that question and Lola's relationship with Giorgio.

But now, she realized that she lost fair and square.

Only Lola was truly Giorgio's perfect match.

Mia held Anna's hand and pleaded earnestly, "Ms. Stefanelli, I think you wouldn't want to marry a man your sister was with, and this test was fair and just. Lola indeed scored 100. Can you tell everyone and give Lola the chance?"

"Lola is almost 30, still unmarried. Others think she's busy with her career, but I know it's because of Mr. Vittorio. All these years, she worked hard, striving in every way, just to be good enough to meet and work with Mr. Vittorio. Now she finally has a chance, but those netizens are blocking her. As her mother, I really can't bear it."

"Ms. Stefanelli, please, consider it as me begging you."
