Chapter 393 The Perfect Coordination of This Couple

Anna's sudden outburst was abrupt and unexpected. It was so clear and powerful. Everyone was stunned. They looked towards the source of the voice and saw angry Anna standing in the sunlight.

Instantly, Viviana's face darkened, and she accused, "How could someone like you who love lying so much design such a good plan? You didn't disappear today, and now you're falsely claiming your work was stolen. Are you deliberately trying to make us unhappy?"

Beatrice also cautiously said, "Anna, Katherine has been involved in business since she was young and has great insight into design and investment. While you've always lived in the countryside, you probably aren't very skilled at that, right?"

Her words were tactful, but she clearly implied that she wasn't as good as Katherine and couldn't possibly have designed it.

Anna knew she wasn't liked by them, but in the face of justice, they didn't even ask for her explanation before deciding she had plagiarized. She felt very upset.

She looked directly at Katherine, saying, "Why aren't you saying anything? Do you dare to swear in front of everyone that this is your original work?"

Katherine looked back at her, with no guilty expression on her face, and said, "Anna, I wouldn't stoop to copy yours. I know you want everyone to like you and accept you, but it is not appropriatetofalsely accuse me,right?  You say I plagiarized you, but do you have any evidence?"

With just a few words, she painted Anna as a scheming woman desperate for recognition.

Anna clenched her fists tightly, because she had no evidence.

"Your design is exactly like mine. These are the drafts I've been working on for days! The revision history is all there!"

She took out a thick stack of draft papers. Everyone took them and examined them closely. On the white paper, indeed, a city was drawn, with a thousand-year-old giant tree standing in the center, striking and beautiful. Next to the draft paper was a written proposal: [Mexican restaurant chain, combining scenery and recreation. There is also a thousand-year-old tree.]

"Wow, this is exactly like Katherine's!"

"What's going on?"

"Exactly the same, someone must have plagiarized."

"Could it really be Katherine?"

Everyone started discussing it.

Anna seized the opportunity to ask further directly, "Katherine, the video records of my drafts can be checked in some public places at the tourist spot and in the hospital ward. What about you? Can you produce your draft records?"

She was proving that she absolutely did not plagiarize. And if Katherine couldn't produce her records, she must have plagiarized.

Katherine sneered, took out her phone, opened an office app, and pulled up a document, saying,

"Take a good look yourself! I started planning this design the second night after Grandma mentioned it. Until today, I've revised this document no less than ten times, all with timestamps."

Anna didn't believe it and took her phone, finding the history records. She indeed saw many revision timestamps!

...

'All the revision records were there. How was this possible?' Anna was filled with doubt.

Katherine snatched the phone back and looked directly at her,

"Anna, even if our designs coincided, that only means our ideas were too similar. You have no evidence, so what right do you have to shout that I plagiarized you? Should I now claim that you saw my design draft and deliberately drew it, even choosing monitored places to create evidence? You just wanted to press me step by step, thinking I couldn't produce evidence, so the design would be yours."

All Katherine's words were sharp, turning the tables on her.

"You!" Anna was speechless, unable to find words to refute.

The others present then spoke up,

"That's very likely."

"Otherwise, how could a draft have so many revisions?"

"It was clearly intentional."

"I never thought Anna could be so malicious, even trying to frame her own sister!"

"Anna! Get out!" Viviana even stood up and ordered, "Throw her luggage to her, let her take a cab back herself anddon't stay with us anymore! What bad luck!"

Anna suddenly became a target of everyone.

Her eyes reddened as she looked at the fierce, disdainful faces of the crowd, feeling full of grievance. She turned and ran away.

"Anna," called Giuseppe,  chasing after her.

He followed her all the way back to the room before finally stopping. Watching her pack her luggage, he comforted her, "Anna, don't think too much. Grandma hates plagiarism the most, and she dotes on Katherine. It's normal for her to be angry. If you apologize to her, she'll forgive you and let you stay."

Anna didn't care to stay. She turned, her red eyes staring straight at Giuseppe, saying, "I did nothing wrong. I don't believe that there are so many coincidences. Do you believe me?"

Giuseppe's lips moved, "Anna, I know you want to help me get the Greenwood Projectand terminate the contract, but..."

"Stop! I get it! I understand what you mean." Anna interrupted him, "You also think I can't come up with a good design, not only that I falsely accused Katherine but also that I plagiarized Katherine in order to get out of the contract with you. Giuseppe, that's it. I'm going back."

Quickly packing her things, she grabbed her suitcase and left.

'Although her relationship with Giuseppe wasn't intimate, he had saved her from dire straits and taken care of her afterward, even confessing his feelings more than three times. In the end, in his heart, she was just that kind of person. Where in the world was there someone who trusted, loved, and cared for her?' Anna thought.

Anna, pulling her suitcase, missed the past.

In high school, she was similarly misunderstood for plagiarizing an award-winning essay and was criticized by the entire school.

When Antonio found out, he rushed to the school and stood up for her completely, telling the whole school, "Anna was definitely not a plagiarist! Demanding a re-investigation!"

Later, with his insistence and help, it was finally clarified that she had been framed. The school leaders, teachers, and classmates all apologized to her. He was the person who knew her best and treated her the best. Antonio, she missed him. Tears welled up in her eyes and fell uncontrollably.

Suddenly, she bumped into a broad chest.

"Sorry." Anna didn't feel like dealing with it, apologized, and tried to walk away.

Her wrist was suddenly grabbed.

"If you rush around without looking, what if you run into a car?"

Giorgio's voice was magnetic and low.

Anna looked up and saw Giorgio's incredibly handsome face.

His eyes reflected her figure, seemingly concerned.

'But last night, he was still making love with Katherine, so why was he bothering her now?

Moreover, he hadn't stood up to say a word for her before. she had heard the Mexican restaurant chain plan from him and Tony, and he thought it was a good plan too.

So he who was not good at concealingemotions, told Katherine his idea and let her design it?'Anna thought.

Suddenly, she understood why their design drafts overlapped.

Giorgio was responsible for business strategy, and Katherine, as his wife, was responsible for adding emotional details to his plans.

'They really were a perfect team.' Anna thought.

Anna spoke painfully, "I don't need you to care about me, Get lost!"
