Chapter 501 Mr. Vittorio, Don't Belittle
Hearing Sara's explaination and suggestion, Anna was stunned.
She didn't expect Sara to tell Giorgio everything.
What astonished her even more was that Giorgio, despite his cold demeanor, brought her to the hospital.
She still thought he was very fond of Katherine.
Thinking about how Giorgio mistook her for Katherine that night and acted the way he did, she still felt uneasy and pained.
Anna said, "Sara, I'll handle it well. I just hope he doesn't side with Katherine. By the way, did you find any new clues from the surveillance? And how's Penny's condition?"
Sara said, "Your health is more important. Don't worry, there are no new clues yet. Mr. Vittorio told me not to rush and to take good care of you. As for Penny, her condition is stable. Just take care of yourself for now."
Sara patted her shoulder and then smiled, "If I had known that being sick would make Mr. Vittorio care about you, I would have let you pretend to be sick earlier."
Anna let out a helpless smile. "Why is your mind always like this, not in the right state?"
Sara snorted, "It's you who's not in the right state, okay?"
Then she added, "Let me ask you, can you be as ruthless and experienced as Katherine? Do you have Katherine's background, status, and money?Or do you have anything that surpasses Katherine? You have none of that."
Before Anna could chime in, Sara continued, "Even if you find something, you might not be able to bring her down, and she might even kill you. So, in this situation, what you need to do is not work hard, but maintain a close relationship with Mr. Vittorio, let him handle Katherine. That way, with Mr. Vittorio in control, you'll be invincible, got it?"
It didn't feel quite right, but Anna couldn't refute it, and it even made some sense.
Sara said again, "Anyway, for the sake of your grandma and Penny, you must maintain a good relationship with Mr. Vittorio. Just like before, take the initiative to kiss him, hug him, and if that doesn't work, just deal with him on bed!"
Before Sara could finish, her lips were suddenly covered by Anna's hand.
Because Anna saw Giorgio appearing at the door of the ward!
'When did he get here! What did he hear? Could he have heard everything?' Anna worried.
Sara turned around and was also shocked when she saw Giorgio.
She quickly removed Anna's hand and smiled awkwardly. "Well... Anna wants to have a good relationship with you, and I was teaching her. Mr. Vittorio, since you're here, you can teach her yourself. I'll leave now."
Anna watched Sara flee in a hurry, feeling a surge of helplessness.
Thinking she had to say something, Anna uttered, "It's definitely not like she said. I didn't think that way."
Giorgio walked in, carrying soup, and placed it on the table. "I actually think what she said makes a lot of sense and is feasible."
Anna was shocked and confused, then blushed deeply!
To seek revenge by doing such things, she thought that was too shameless.
"Mr. Vittorio, I think you shouldn't demean yourself."
Giorgio opened the soup, brought it over, sat by the bed, and looked at her, softlt saying, "Being relied on by my own woman is quite natural. I do not consider it beneath me."
His deep, husky, and magnetic words made Anna blush.
"We've already broken up, there's no relationship anymore." Talking about this made her feel very sad.
After all, she had apologized and explained before, but he didn't accept it.
Hearing that, Giorgio's eyes darkened slightly.
After a moment, he looked at her, seriously and rationally, asking, "Still angry? Anna, you didn't tell me the details and chose the most extreme method, which led to my misunderstanding and actions that hurt you. We both had issues in this matter, and as a man, I should apologize to you. But I hope you won't use such methods in the future. Let's start over."
He said it seriously, in a rational, and well-analyzed tone.
He was always like this, mature in his approach to viewing issues, identifying problems, and resolving them.
And he did it cleanly and directly, saying they should start over.
Anna's heart was moved.
She was elated that he could come to like her again, to care for her.
But for Anna, some things couldn't be easily overlooked.
At least, she couldn't ignore what happened between him and Katherine.
She couldn't be sure if, in the future, when he held her or kissed her, he might still think of her as Katherine.
Anna's silence was unexpected for Giorgio.
He thought she wanted the same as him, to start over.
For a moment, he couldn't understand her thoughts, but he just said, "Don't think too much. Have some soup first."
She hadn't eaten anything during the time she was unconscious.
Anna indeed didn't know how to talk about that matter, and she was indeed a bit hungry. She nodded, opened her mouth, and ate the soup he fed her.
The soup was sweet, and Giorgio's actions were gentlemanly and elegant.
'If only those things hasn't happened, how nice it'll be,' she thought.
After the meal, due to the painkillers and medication, Anna fell asleep again while lying down.
Giorgio washed his hands and went to the doctor's office. As he walked down the hallway, he felt a pain in his stomach.
"Mr. Vittorio, are you okay?" A bodyguard immediately ran up to check on him.
Giorgio suppressed the fleeting pain and maintained a dignified expression, saying, "I'm fine. Gather all the information on Katherine's whereabouts recently."
"Yes, Mr. Vittorio, I'll have someone do it right away." The bodyguard quickly sent a text message to give the order.
After entering the doctor's office, Giorgio took two painkillers and then inquired about Anna's condition, "How is the virus in her body?"
"Mr. Vittorio, she's completely recovered now. There's no need to worry. In a couple of days, once she's fully recovered, she can be discharged."
"Good. I heard you were involved in Elodie's transplant surgery half a month ago?" Giorgio's deep gaze fixed on the doctor.
The doctor, feeling the strong presence, immediately responded respectfully, "Yes, that surgery was special. You instructed us to pay extra attention, so most of our senior doctors were in the operating room, ready for any situation. Fortunately, the surgery was successfully completed, and the patient's recovery was good. She could be transferred to Vista Heights the next day. Mr. Vittorio, is there a problem?"
Giorgio raised an eyebrow, questioning, "Transferred the next day? With your medical team?"
"Yes, our hospital usually goes to Vista Heights Medical Center for exchanges around this time every year; it just coincided," the doctor replied.
So, it wasn't intentional?
Giorgio didn't get any useful information and left the office.
Tom suddenly ran up from behind and put his hand on Giorgio's shoulder.
"Giorgio, how's it going? Are you feeling somewhat distressed because Katherine is bedridden? Let me tell you a way that won't affect Katherine's wound and can solve the problem."
Giorgio turned to Tom with suspicion, completely unaware of what he was talking about.
The next second, Tom leaned into his ear and said something very direct and explicit.
