Chapter 530 The One Who Fell Out of Favor

In the dark night, Giorgio's aura was extremely cold.

He had a strong urge to pin her down and make her admit her mistakes.

But in the end, he just got up and left the ward. Then, he sent a message to Tony.

"Katherine, the news was suppressed quickly. It must have been handled by Mr. Giorgio Vittorio." Inside the villa, Rebecca looked at her tablet, her face full of anxiety.

This news was originally released by them to create a bad impression of Anna. They even arranged for people to influence public opinion online.

They hadn't expected it would be suppressed in less than half an hour?

Katherine lay on a luxurious chair, her palms clenched, her eyes filled with intense hatred.

She hated Anna for stealing Giuseppe's heart and being so pampered by Giorgio.

Damn Anna, if it weren't for her, both of these men would be hers! She was the one who deserved to be loved.

Katherine sneered, "No worries, we'll find another opportunity. I will kill her eventually!"

Anna, who slept until dawn, was completely unaware of what had happened.

When she opened her eyes, there was no one beside her, and the bed had long lost Giorgio's warmth and scent.

Did he leave very early?

Anna sat up and found no messages from him on the cabinet or on her phone, feeling a slight sense of loss again.

"Mommy, did Mr. Vittorio come last night?" At this moment, Penny asked,  her beautiful eyes shining.

Anna quickly suppressed her emotions and nodded. "Yes, he came. He even slept here last night. Look, this is the gift he bought for you."

She took out the gift she had secretly bought last night and handed it to her.

Penny's eyes widened at the exquisite gift, exclaiming, "Wow! A Snow White dream set, so beautiful! I love it! When I see Mr. Vittorio tonight, I want to thank him and give him a kiss."

Anna knew Giorgio probably wouldn't come tonight.

Even though she didn't want Penny to be disappointed so soon, she didn't say anything and patted her head. "Do your rehab well, and after you're discharged, you can see him anytime."

"Okay, Mommy!"

Anna smiled gently, accompanied Penny for breakfast, and then took a cab home.

"Anna, let me take a look." As soon as Sara saw her, she pulled her up and down, looking her over with great interest. "When Mr. Vittorio saw you yesterday, did his eyes light up? Did he smile? Did he want to hold you in his arms all the time?"

Lucia also came over, echoing, "Share with us? Did Mr. Vittorio tear off your strap?"

Anna said helplessly, "Lucia, you've been influenced by Sara."

"No, I'm just concerned about you," Lucia explained.

At this moment, Sara suddenly said disappointedly, "What's going on? There are no kiss marks on you. Is Mr. Vittorio that self-controlled? Anna, did you guys do nothing?"

Facing such questions, she felt both embarrassed and a bit annoyed, not at Sara and Lucia, but at what happened last night.

"Don't bring this up. We didn't have a date last night. By the time he got to the ward, I was already asleep."

Talking about this still made her a little unhappy.

"Huh?" Sara was surprised, then belatedly remembered something and asked, "Did Mr. Vittorio and Lola stay at the old mansion for a long time?"

Anna didn't respond.

Sara and Lucia then realized they brought up a sad topic.

"Hey, it's normal. If you didn't have a date last night, there's always tonight. He can't be seeing Lola tonight too," Sara said with a smile to lighten the mood, nudging Lucia's arm.

Lucia quickly echoed, "Yes, recently the dating app is from Lola's company, and Mrs. Viviana Vittorio is concerned about it. It's normal. Don't worry, let's shoot a video."

"Okay, sure. Don't worry about me, I'm fine." Anna smiled at them and walked into the room to change clothes. Annie followed her, meowing.

Anna squatted down and picked her up, asking dotingly, "What's wrong? Do you feel neglected because I haven't seen you for a few days?"

"Meow!"

"Alright, I'm here. He'll come to see you when he's done, be good," Anna said softly, then put the cat down.

Another busy day.

After work, Anna still had no messages from Giorgio on her phone.

Since he wasn't reaching out to her, she saw no need to make the first move. Turning off her phone, she went to the hospital to continue Penny's rehabilitation.

Penny was recovering well and could already run and jump.

The doctor said, "Ms. Stefanelli, Penny can be discharged tomorrow. Come back for a check-up in half a month."

"Okay, thank you, doctor!"  With that, Anna happily went to handle the discharge procedures.

"Ms. Stefanelli, is Penny being discharged?" Tom ran into her and asked curiously.

He had thought Katherine was a good match for Giorgio, but now that Katherine was with Giuseppe, naturally, Giorgio's marriage prospects fell on Anna.

Anna nodded kindly to him. "Yes, thank you, Dr. Kensington. If you're free tomorrow, come over for dinner. I'll cook."

In her hometown, there was a custom of holding a small gathering after a patient was discharged, both to celebrate and to thank those who visited during the illness. And Tom had helped arrange many things during this time.

"Sure, I'll definitely come," Tom agreed readily and told the staff handling the procedures."She's my friend, just process it directly."

"Okay, Dr. Kensington."

Anna watched Tom leave, feeling grateful.

Of Giorgio's two friends, he was the easiest to get along with. As for Enrico, thinking of him sent chills down her spine.

After completing the procedures, Anna hesitated about whether to message Giorgio.

He hadn't contacted her at all. She thought reaching out might make her seem too eager.

But Penny most wanted to see Charlie after being discharged.

After some thought, she sent a message.

[Penny can be discharged tomorrow. I'm planning a barbecue in the yard. Can you bring Charlie? If you're busy, just let Charlie come.]

On the other end, in the spacious office on the 99th floor, Giorgio was still working, his eyes cold as he read Anna's message.

She didn't ask why he wasn't there in the morning. She didn't contact him all day.

Now she finally sent a message, and it was because of Penny?

And if he was busy, just let Charlie come?

In other words, it didn't matter if he came or not.

A wave of irritation spread through his heart, and Giorgio threw his phone on the desk and continued working.

He didn't reply.

After a long time, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Giorgio said in a concise and cold tone.

Giorgio didn't even lift his head.

"Working so late? Looking so unapproachable. I'm wondering who made you unhappy, Mr. Vittorio?" A familiar voice sounded.

Only then did Giorgio look up and see Lola coming in.
