Chapter 411 The Nutritious Soup Personally Made by Mr. Vittorio

Mr. Vittorio, always so dignified, took off his suit, rolled up his sleeves, and headed into the kitchen to cook.

Mr. Vittorio had never cooked before. And now he was actually doing it.

Tony freaked out and rushed over.

"Mr. Vittorio, let me handle it. I'll do it."

Even though Tony couldn't cook either, he couldn't let Mr. Vittorio do it himself.

Giorgio coldly replied, "No need, you go outside."

"But..."

"No arguments. Out." Giorgio gave a direct order.

Once Tony left, Giorgio got out the greasy ingredients.

The raw meat stuck to his long, well-defined fingers, a nightmare for someone obsessed with cleanliness like him.

But he didn't throw it away. Following online instructions, he carefully cleaned it, rinsed it, and put it in the stockpot, adding other ingredients one by one.

In just two hours, Tony, watching from outside, felt like he was seeing a different Mr. Vittorio.

He had never imagined a business mogul would be busy in the kitchen!

The world must be ending.

Another half hour passed, and Giorgio ladled the soup into a thermos. "I’m going to Maple Valley Estates. You stay here and eat with the kids."

Then he left with the thermos.

Tony was puzzled.

Maple Valley Estates?

Turned out, he was trying to impress someone by cooking.

Maple Valley Estates.

Elena was in the living room when she saw Giorgio come in. She immediately stood up.

"Mr. Vittorio? Why are you here? Mr. Giuseppe isn't back yet."

Giorgio said indifferently, "I’m not here for him, I’m here for Anna."

Elena was stunned, then noticed the thermos in his hand and understood.

So, Mr. Vittorio had feelings too.

But thinking about how Giuseppe would react if he saw them together, she said, "Mr. Vittorio, Miss Stefanelli said she wasn't feeling well and has already gone to sleep. She also said she doesn't want to see anyone."

She didn't add any details. Letting Anna misunderstand now, without revealing her condition, was crucial.

Giorgio's cold gaze swept over her, ignoring her, and he walked upstairs.

"Hey! Mr. Vittorio!" Elena chased after him, trying to stop him.

Giorgio sternly rebuked, "Get out. If you don't want Giuseppe to misunderstand, stay in the yard."

Elena had always admired Mr. Vittorio. Just one look from him could make people feel the threat of death, not daring to disobey.

Thinking Anna and Mr. Vittorio would cut ties soon enough, she went to the yard as instructed.

Upstairs.

Giorgio pushed the door open and saw Anna half-leaning on the bed reading a book.

Her face looked pale, stirring a trace of pity in his heart.

He walked over and sat by the bed.

"Feeling very uncomfortable? Sorry, you should have called me. I would have stayed with you."

He was dignified and elegant, gentle and considerate.

There was no high and mighty aura, just a boyfriend taking care of his girlfriend.

‘Don't think about it, his gentleness is only by the surface. Don't covet, don't fall in love,' she told herself silently.

Anna suppressed her emotions, pursed her lips, and said, "It's nothing, it's already passed."

The feelings she had for him had truly passed.

Because no matter how good he was, without a future and without deep love, she couldn't afford to gamble.

Giorgio noticed her cold demeanor.

Although he knew he shouldn't ask, he still did, "Are you mad at me? Or do you have other thoughts?"

Anna had no other thoughts.

He gave her gentleness and affection; she should be grateful, not ask for more.

In this world, there was no such thing as unconditional love.

Especially not from a high and mighty man like him.

She calmly said, "Mr. Vittorio, I'm not mad, and I have no other thoughts. You're right, the child came at the wrong time. If someone with ill intentions exaggerated it, it wouldn't be good for the Vittorio family and would ruin our reputations. Plus, Katherine is still your wife. Neither I nor this child can be known to others. Handling it calmly is the adult thing to do. Mr. Vittorio, go back and take care of Charlie. I'm really fine."

She was really rational.

It was this extraordinary rationality that made Giorgio feel strange.

But now, when she was at her most vulnerable, he couldn't bear to question her. Gently, he picked up the soup.

"I’ll feed you the soup before I leave."

Anna was stunned.

Feed her soup?

The high and mighty Mr. Vittorio actually wanted to feed her.

It was simply too shocking and awkward.

"I don't want to drink."

"No refusal," Giorgio said firmly.

But his actions were gentle as he scooped a spoonful of soup, tested the temperature with his lips, and only when he was sure it wasn't hot did he bring it to her lips.

Anna was shocked, sitting stiffly on the bed.

He was too gentle.

"Don't want to drink? Do you want me to feed it to you with my mouth?" His voice rose in a teasing question.

Anna quickly snapped back to reality, knowing he would actually do it, and opened her mouth to drink.

The soup was a bit bland but delicious.

Plus, she hadn't eaten all day, so she cooperated and finished the soup.

Giorgio's gaze gradually softened.

Just then, his phone sounded, it was a text message.

It was from Giuseppe's assistant, Elena.

Elena: [Mr. Vittorio, Mr. Giuseppe is back.]

He put away his phone and closed the thermos.

"Rest well. I'll make sure Giuseppe doesn't disturb you. In a few days, I'll use a proposal I created under your name to bid for the Greenwood Project, so you can smoothly terminate the contract with him."

Vittorio was calm and composed, handling everything methodically.

"In addition, before all issues are resolved, don't let Giuseppe know about your pregnancy."

Men were possessive creatures. Even if Giuseppe hadn't married her yet, knowing about his relationship with her would make him furious.

Anna looked at his gentle and steady demeanor, saying nothing.

Actually, she was quite bad, wanting to tell him she wasn't pregnant at all, just to see his reaction.

Would he still be so calm?

Unfortunately, Vittorio was like a poisonous opiate, not something she could touch or provoke.

She chose to retreat, to escape.

If she could really end things with Giuseppe, she would flee to the ends of the earth, to a place where no one knew her, never to contact him again.

"Alright. Please take care of Penny. Don't let her come over these days." She responded lightly, not wanting Penny to appear in Giuseppe's sight.

Giorgio leaned over and kissed her forehead.

"Anna, rest well."

The kiss was very gentle.

Yet it felt like a breeze, more stirring than a heavy rain.

Anna's hands, hidden under the blanket, clenched tightly.

She tried hard not to respond, not to be moved.

Only after Giorgio had completely left did she finally shed tears.

She hated herself. She shouldn't be moved, knowing that being moved by him would lead to overwhelming darkness and pain.

Even in his moments of gentleness, she still had a soft spot.

What was wrong with her?

His influence on her was too great.

Downstairs, in the yard.

Giorgio didn't confront Giuseppe directly.

If Anna was to successfully terminate her contract with Giuseppe, there should be no other signs before that.

He walked back to Maple Valley Estates and made a phone call by the roadside, "Tonight, come to the villa to see me."
