He imagined mornings like this, waking up to the sound of their laughter and feeling the warmth of their love fill the air.
It was a strange thought for him to have. Why was he daydreaming like a stupid teenager?
It was only 7 o'clock when Giorgio's phone rang, and he saw that it was a call from his parent’s house.
"Mr. Vittorio, your grandmother is not feeling well today and really wants to see you, Charlie, and Miss Stefanelli. They have something important to discuss with you via video call at 10 o'clock," the butler respectfully said.
Giorgio furrowed his brows with worry.
Viviana, his grandma, at the age of ninety, was the elder he respected and cared about the most. Even his engagement with Katherine was arranged by Viviana. Now she wasn't feeling well?
He raised his lips in response, "Okay. Take care of her, I'll be back on time."
"Okay, Mr. Vittorio."
After hanging up the call, Giorgio put down his phone and noticed that the two children had woken up and were looking at him with bright eyes.
Penny exclaimed, full of joy, "Future daddy, you actually slept with me! I'm so happy!"
Charlie furrowed his brows, "Daddy, don't you have obsessive-compulsive disorder?"
Giorgio had a serious case of OCD and wouldn't sleep in a bed that someone else had slept in.
