Chapter 507 You Have No Connection with Giuseppe?
The next second, Giorgio straightened up.
While everyone else was freaking out, he stayed cool and collected. He waved his hand, telling the bodyguards to back off.
He wiped the blood from his mouth and shot a cold look at Fabio. "To the office," he said.
Fabio was livid. "For what? You got the guts to divorce Katherine but not to say it here?"
He hadn't always been great to Katherine, but after Anna bailed on donating her kidney and Katherine risked her life to save him during childbirth, he started to really value her. He would never let Giorgio hurt her.
"Take it back now, or you're gonna regret it!" Fabio threatened.
Giorgio just sneered, stepping closer. "You have no idea what your sister's been up to, do you? The evidence should be at the Stefanelli house by now. Go home, check it out, and then see if you still wanna stand in front of me."
Fabio's eyebrows knitted together. What was he talking about?
Seeing Giorgio's icy calm, Fabio clenched his fists, turned around, and headed home.
The documents provided by Giorgio included not only evidence of Katherine's actions at the hospital and the cat abuse incident, but also numerous photos and videos of her affair with Giuseppe!
When Katherine blamed Anna for everything today, Giorgio started to wonder if Katherine had been framing Anna all along. He thought back to that viral video and noticed some details.
Katherine and Anna had different body types. Katherine was thin with tight lines from years of maintenance. Anna was slim but had curves in all the right places, with naturally fair, soft, and elastic skin.
Giorgio even knew Anna had a small mole on her hip bone, which was pretty distinctive. But the woman in the video didn't have it.
Giorgio had someone gather evidence, and through some advanced tech, he uncovered a whole bunch of proof.
Carla was shaking with anger, almost fainting. Franklin couldn't believe his daughter could do such things. His eyes were filled with rage, fists clenched tight.
Just then, Katherine came in crying, "Dad, Mom, Fabio, you have to help me."
Before she could react, a slap landed hard on her face, knocking her to the ground and toppling a chair.
Her bones ached, her cheek burned, and she looked up in shock at her father, who had never been harsh to her.
"Dad? Why did you hit me?" she asked.
"Shut up! Look at what you've done! You've disgraced the entire Stefanelli family! You've ruined us!" Franklin was furious, throwing the phone at her. "Get out! If you can't get Mr. Vittorio to fix this, don't come back! We won't recognize you as a Stefanelli anymore!"
Katherine, in pain, pleaded, "No, Dad, you can't do this to me. Mom, please, help me."
Carla pushed her hand away, saying, "Katherine, you've deeply disappointed me. I need some time alone."
Then Katherine was thrown out of the Stefanelli estate.
Under the pouring rain, she was drenched to the skin, her face streaming with tears.
After crying her heart out, she picked up her phone. Through the rain, she watched the videos of her secret meetings with Giuseppe, even at the Vittorio estate.
Her vision blurred, and she passed out.
Anna woke up feeling like she'd slept for an extended period. The ward was quiet.
She remembered what happened before she fell asleep and blushed.
Even with the medicine, she was ready to give herself to Giorgio. But he was so considerate and respectful, making her feel cherished.
Suddenly, Sara's laughter broke the silence.
Anna sat up and saw Sara laughing uncontrollably. "Sara, are you watching a comedy or something?"
Sara turned, rushed to the bedside, and grinned. "Nope, it's even funnier. Look, Mr. Vittorio and Katherine got divorced, and their fans are going at it in the comments. It's brutal!"
'Fans arguing? That's not the point!' Anna thought.
She blurted out, "What did you say? Mr. Vittorio and Katherine got divorced?"
Sara said, "Yeah! Just two hours ago. Check out Mr. Vittorio's Instagram."
On Sara's phone, Anna saw Giorgio's post: [Officially divorced from Katherine.]
The comments were already at 90 million!
Likes had hit 200 million!
"What happened?" Anna asked, confused.
Why was he so decisive?
Sara shrugged. "No idea."
Then she nudged Anna. "But it's probably because of you. Look, Mr. Vittorio is here. Ask him yourself."
Anna looked up and saw Giorgio walking in.
It was raining outside, and his shoulders were a bit wet, adding a touch of intimacy. His incredibly handsome face had a swollen bruise on the corner of his mouth.
"Giorgio, what happened to you?" Anna anxiously got out of bed, walked over, and stared at his wound.
Up close, her beautiful eyes were full of concern.
Giorgio wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close, and looked at Sara. "Ms. Hill, could you give us a moment?"
"Okay, okay!" Sara grabbed her phone and ran out, closing the door behind her.
In the quiet room, it was just the two of them.
Anna could hear Giorgio's heartbeat, her face turning red.
"You should see a doctor for your wound," she said softly.
The next second, Giorgio kissed her forcefully, with an irresistible dominance and gentleness, more intense than any kiss before.
Anna couldn't catch her breath. He pressed her against the wall, leaving her no room to move.
Her mind went blank, feeling suffocated.
"Giorgio, I can't breathe, let me go," she whispered, clearly lacking oxygen.
Giorgio finally let her go.
Looking at Anna, who was gasping for air, his eyes were deep and burning. "You didn't have a relationship with Giuseppe? Why didn't you make it clear?"
Like a bomb going off in her head, Anna's eyelashes fluttered. She almost instinctively asked, "You have known?"
Realizing what she said, she quickly shook her head. "No, I don't know what you're talking about."
Giorgio said, "When you lie, your eyes wander, your eyelashes flutter, and you don't dare to look at me."
Anna was stunned and froze.
The next second, Giorgio lifted her chin, looking straight into her eyes. "Does it make you happy to let me misunderstand and be jealous? Or is there some deal between you and Katherine that made you take the blame for her?"
