Chapter 502 Mr. Vittorio's Scheming and Deep Calculations

With that, Tomgave a cheeky smile and added, "That's a good idea, isn't it? A new experience. You may give it a try."

Hearing that, Giorgio's ears turned red.

Earlier in the ward, Anna's behavior was indeed unexpected to him; they hadn't reached that level yet.

"You may go back now. No need to wait here," he said coldly.

However, Tom didn't catch on and mischievously said, "Alright, I won't disturb you and Katherine, Mr. Vittorio."

Then, he left happily.

Giorgio watched his carefree figure and frowned.

How did he end up with a friend like this?

He then returned to the ward.

Anna was still asleep on the bed, looking peaceful, her sleeping face sweet.

Having not slept for two days, Giorgio felt a wave of drowsiness. He walked over and held her as he rested.

It had been a long time since they had lain together so peacefully. He quickly fell into a deep sleep.

This nap was stable for both of them.

In the evening, Anna opened her eyes and found Giorgio sleeping beside her!

At such a close distance, she could see his straight nose and sexy thin lips through the reflected light.

She pursed her lips, feeling awkward and wanting to move.

"Uncomfortable?" The next second, Giorgio's magnetic voice came, clearly awakened by her movements.

"No." Anna shook her head, her breath a bit quickened. "Just a little hungry. My whole body is sore from sleeping, and I want to get up and walk."

Giorgio gave a light hum, shook off his drowsiness, and opened his eyes. "I'll go ask if you can get out of bed and walk."

With that, he sat up.

As he got up, Anna clearly saw his deep eyes were a bit red, thinking he must have been busy taking care of her these past two days and hadn't slept well.

She raised her hand to pull him back. "Hey, forget it. I suddenly feel a bit sleepy again. Just hold me and sleep a bit longer."

After saying that, she suddenly regretted..

Giorgio's back stiffened slightly. He looked at her, seemingly seeing through her thoughts. "You've been lying down for two days. It's better to get some fresh air."

After that, he asked the doctor, brought a wheelchair, and carried her into it.

Then Anna was taken downstairs by him, looking uneasy.

The current Giorgio, just like before, could pamper someone to the extreme.

But she still couldn't accept the fact that he and Katherine had been together, even if it was she who provoke him first. He then proceeded to make love to Katherine, seeking an outlet for his tumultuous emotions. To her, he seemed cold-blooded, callous, and impetuous.

"Giorgio," Anna suddenly spoke.

At that moment, Giorgio seemed to know what she was going to say.

He interrupted, "If it's something unpleasant, you can say it after you're discharged."

She was going to say they should break up. How did he know? Was her expression that obvious?

Anna pursed her lips, blurting out, "Oh. But I still want to say, maybe we should break up."

Hearing this, Giorgio's tall and cold figure stiffened slightly under the moonlight.

It took him a few seconds to come back to his senses. He parked the wheelchair and sat on the stone bench opposite her. "What's the reason?"

In her eyes, his righteous question seemd he had no feeling that he had done anything wrong at all.

Anna was a bit angry, looking him straight in the eyes. "I agree with what you said before, and I don't deny we both made mistakes. But I didn't lose my mind and slept with another man. You, however, had sex with Katherine. You're unfaithful. And Katherine might be the one who killed my grandmother. I can't accept that," she said it with a clear and forceful tone.

Giorgio raised an eyebrow. "When did I have sex with Katherine?"

Anna looked at his calm and justified demeanor, feeling a lump in her throat, almost crying out of anger. "Forget it, I don't want to talk to you."

She pushed the wheelchair to leave.

Giorgio reached out, pulled her back, and brought her close, his gaze intense. "We need to clear things up. Every time we don't, it leads to misunderstandings. Be mature, okay?"

Anna was really crying out of anger. "You think you're more mature than me. You held me in the apartment, thinking I was Katherine, and did those things. You thought I was Katherine and kissed me. You're just a rogue driven by physical desires!"

By the end, her tone was completely aggressive.

Giorgio watched her hysterically finish yelling and suddenly realized what she was saying. "You think those two times I really thought you were Katherine?"

"What do you mean? If not Katherine, then who?" Anna asked confidently.

After all, she had experienced those two times herself!

Her angry look made Giorgio's lips curl slightly. He pulled the wheelchair closer again and said, "The first time you got in the car, I suspected it was you. The second night in the garage, I recognized you after going upstairs. That night you fed me medicine, I was conscious."

Hearing that, Anna was stunned.

How could it be? He knew it was her?

Then why did he call her Katherine and do those things!

The next second, Anna thought of something and suddenly realized. "You did it on purpose? To provoke me?"

"You could say that," Giorgio replied.

So it was true!

So, he didn't do those things with Katherine but deliberately provoked her, making Anna think he did.

This was even scarier than if he had done something with Katherine! At that time, she was almost despearate.

Anna suddenly realized that Giorgio's scariness far exceeded her imagination.

She glared at him, turned the wheelchair, and left.

Giorgio frowned and walked up. "Why are you angry again?"

"I'm not angry. I wouldn't dare be angry with someone as scheming and deep as Mr. Vittorio. I'm afraid I wouldn't survive if you plotted against me."

Anna was filled with anger!

She really didn't expect him to deliberately provoke her like that.

Giorgio said, "You can do it, but I can't? When you said emotional betrayal, I felt the same way."

"That's different!" Anna retorted, turning the wheelchair to face him. "I felt unworthy of you and didn't want to drag you down, hoping you'd have a better life. You were just trying to anger me.One is with good intentions, the other with bad. Completely different."

Giorgio looked at Anna's angry face and raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure your actions were for my good? Didn't I teach you before to speak directly? You don't care about my words at all."

Anna retorted, "So you're saying it's my fault, and I deserve to be provoked by you, and you're completely right. Fine, I'm not doing it for your good. I was wrong. Someone like me doesn't deserve your love. Don't take care of me anymore. Goodbye!"

She finished yelling and turned to leave.

Giorgio's tall figure stiffened in place.
