Chapter 398 Let's Talk About Us
When Giorgio had just stepped in, he suddenly felt a murderous intent. He quickly dodged backward, narrowly avoiding the knife thrust at him. He raised his hand and grabbed the wrist holding the knife, pulling it forcefully.
He was about to twist it when he saw it was Anna.
"Anna?" He immediately let go.
Anna, still in a daze, was blinded by anger and hatred.
She fiercely stabbed at him!
The knife plunged into Giorgio's chest, blood flowing out! Giorgio's face tightened.
Anna's face turned pale with fear.
Hurting him was out of anger and breakdown for her.
But when she actually saw blood, her hand trembled with fear and panic, and she let go.
At that moment, she finally realized, saying, "Giorgio? Why is it you?"
Giorgio's mouth twitched.
'Did she forget about last night again?' Giorgio thought.
But then he changed his mind, 'she wasn't trying to kill him, so maybe he should be relieved?'
He covered his chest with one hand, enduring the pain, saying, "You need to go back and get some nutrition. You also should learn a lesson. Why are you standing there? Do you want to be a murderer? Go to the front desk and get the first aid kit."
"Okay!" Anna ran out in a panic, her mind in a fog.
'How could it be Giorgio? Last night she was with that driver...'
She remembered a man vaguely coming to the car and carrying her out.
After that, she found his scent comforting, always seeking rescue.
She also recalled what she said at the time.
'Giorgio, your voice is so nice.'
'Giorgio.'
'I like you. Please save me.'
Scenes flashed by like lightning. Anna's face turned red, feeling frantic!
'Who could tell me why the man in her memory turned into Giorgio? I actually kissed and hugged Giorgio! What should I do! No, wait! It was not appropriate to think about this now. Giorgio is still injured and I have to go back.' Anna thought.
Anna quickly ran to the front desk, grabbed the first aid kit, and went upstairs.
In the room, Giorgio sat on the sofa, his posture elegant, his expression calm.
But the fine sweat on his face and his pale complexion revealed the severity of his wound.
"I brought the first aid kit." Anna walked over quickly.
Seeing the knife in his chest and the blood, she felt both guilty and anxious. She said, "Can you handle it yourself? Should I go to the hospital or call a doctor?"
It seemed Anna was still worried about him.
Giorgio didn't want the injury to be known, especially since Viviana already had a bad impression of Anna. Besides, he could endure this kind of wound.
"It's fine," he said briefly.
He pressed his lips together, raised his hand, grabbed the knife handle, and pulled it out forcefully.
When blood spurted out Anna screamed, closing her eyes and saying, "Can you be more gentle with yourself and take it slowly?"
Her anxious and concerned expression made Giorgio's pain lessen. He took a cotton cloth and pressed it against the wound, saying, "Some things can be done slowly, but others need to be done quickly and accurately to reduce time loss, pain, and unnecessary trouble."
His words were full of meaning, like a mature, steady professor giving advice.
Anna didn't understand, but he could still talk so much making her feel a bit more at ease, less afraid.
She slightly moved her fingers, revealing her eyes, and said,"Stop talking and treat your wound quickly. Do you need any help?"
"Yes, help me pour the alcohol and prepare the medicine."
"Okay." Anna quickly took her hand down, bent over, poured alcohol on a medical cotton cloth, and handed it to him.
Then, she found the medicine, saying, "There's only trauma medicine and antibiotics."
"I'll make do." Giorgio methodically cleaned the wound, took the medicine, and poured it on the wound.
Throughout the process, he didn't utter a single groan,as if the wound wasn't his.
Anna was both subdued and shocked.
His strength seemed to always exceed her imagination.
If it were her, she might have been groaning in pain and couldn't stop.
"Help me with the bandage."
"Okay!" Anna realized he had already placed the gauze, only needing the medical tape to secure it.
She quickly tore off a piece of tape, bent over, and fixed the gauze and medicine.
Considering his injury, she was extremely careful, afraid of hurting him.
At such a close distance, her face was porcelain white, her nose was delicately high, and her eyes were as clear as stars.
Giorgio's gaze deepened, becoming more profound.
Despite her sharp tongue and tendency to argue, she was very comforting, cute, and gentle.
"All done." Anna finished, looked up to see if Giorgio showed any signs of pain, but as soon as she looked up, she met his exceptionally deep and handsome eyes.
It made her feel like that he was a whirlpool in the depths of the ocean, pulling her in. She couldn't help but think of last night, losing her mind because of his eyes and doing something out of line.
Her face turned red, saying, "Is there anything else you need? I’ll check the flight tickets. You can take a cab back to the scenic area or have Tony pick you up."
Giorgio's gentle expression turned slightly serious as he looked at her, "Anna, shouldn't we talk about what happened last night?"
Anna thought of the fragmented memories from last night and wished she could find a hole to crawl into now. She said with evasive eyes, "What happened last night? I only remember taking something, then I can't recall anything. Why are you here with me? "
'She said she didn't remember? Did she think pretending not to know would let her escape?' Giorgio thought.
Giorgio was slightly angry, but what made him more irritated was about her attitude towards strangers.
He said, "You had remembered taking something? As a girl traveling alone, you have no sense of caution? Accepting food from a stranger? If I hadn't arrived last night, have you thought about the consequences?"
His words were a reprimand.
Filled with frustration, he was angry that she had no self-protection awareness.
Anna knew she was wrong.
"I was just too upset yesterday. So when someone showed concern, I didn't think much."
To her, yesterday was pitiful. Not only was her design stolen, but she was also falsely accused and even thrown out of the scenic area without dignity.
Giorgio heard her grievance, his long eyes narrowed, saying, "I said I would handle it for you. You never take my concern seriously, pushing me away, but you accept a stranger's concern. Anna, I've wanted to open your head more than once and see what's inside."
She felt helpless that Giorgio called her stupid again!
'She wasn't stupid, okay? She just didn't know why, after meeting him, so many tragic things kept happening.' Anna thought,
She remained silent, like a pitiful child who had done something wrong, feeling wronged but not wanting to explain.
Giorgio couldn't bear to argue further, raised his hand, rubbed his aching brow, adjusted his breathing, and said softly.
"Be careful next time. Never accept food from strangers. And even with some acquaintances, you should be more cautious."
His attitude suddenly became gentle, making his previous reprimands seem like expressions of his concern.
Because only his worry would make him angry, fearing something might happen to her.
Anna's mind was in turmoil.
She lowered her head, "Okay, I understand. Thank you. If there's nothing else, I'll really leave."
He had said so much, yet her response was just like this.
Giorgo raised an eyebrow, saying, "Are you sure there's nothing else? Now that your matter is settled, shouldn't we talk about our matter?"
Anna instantly understood what he meant, feeling awkward and flustered.
'She had done something inappropriate to him. Giorgio definitely wouldn't let it go. But how did he plan to talk about it?'Anna thought.
