"Penny misunderstood. When I took care of Charlie before, she thought I was pursuing Mr. Vittorio and I haven't explained it clearly yet."

Simon's eyes softened and he looked gently at Penny. "That uncle has someone he likes now, he doesn't like your mommy. In the future, I will be your future daddy and you can come to me for anything, alright?"

After finishing the video conference, he came downstairs from his study and saw Katherine instead of Anna.
"Where is she?"
"Mr. Dalio came to pick her up. She left with Mr. Dalio," Katherine explained.
Giorgio's handsome face turned cold as he immediately took out his phone and sent a message to Anna:
"If you can't come up with a solution in three days, then..."
Waiting for a result, he received no reply for an entire hour. Feeling deep pressure and frustration, he quickly finished his meal and returned to his room.
"Call Anna and tell her you miss her," said Giorgio.
Charlie, his beautiful little face filled with curiosity, responded, "But it's already nine o'clock. Anna should be sleeping."
"Just call her. If you don't want to, then she doesn't need to take care of you anymore," Giorgio replied with a cold expression, annoyed at the thought of Anna and Simon being together late at night.
Charlie nodded obediently and immediately dialed Anna's number, but no one answered.
No response to text messages, no answer to phone calls, what can they do?

Charlie's eyes darted around and he suggested, "Daddy, don't worry. I'll call Penny and ask."

"Penny, it's Charlie," he said.

Charlie glanced at his intimidating father and wanted to say that he was forced to call. However, he spoke softly instead, "I'm just thinking about Anna. Did she get home safely? Why isn't she answering her phone?"
Penny reassured him, "Mommy safely arrived home. Right now, she and future daddy are in the room organizing things. They probably didn't hear the phone. Charlie, don't worry, okay?"
Furrowing his eyebrows, Charlie asked, "Future daddy?" If he remembered correctly, Penny called Giorgio "future daddy," not just "daddy."
The next second, Penny answered his question:
"Well, your dad doesn't like my mom, and conveniently, there's a handsome uncle who likes my mom and is willing to accompany me to kindergarten's parent-child activities. So, I call him my new future dad. Don't worry, I won't compete with you for dad anymore."
Charlie stayed silent.
Beside him, Giorgio said nothing. Anna and Simon are together, and Penny has accepted Simon as her dad!

Bang! He kicked a small stool in front of the bed, filling the air with a suffocating atmosphere...
Outside the door, Katherine's hands clenched in anxiety as she overheard the commotion.

"Promise me," Anna said, cupping his face in her hands, "never to put yourself down, never to doubt your worth. You are an incredible person, and I feel so blessed to have you in my life."
Simon's heart swelled with emotion, and he wrapped his arms around Anna, pulling her close. In that tender embrace, he felt a newfound sense of self-acceptance and love.

The car arrived at the villa, and Anna was about to wave Simon off and let him go to work.
Unexpectedly, Katherine walked out and said, "Mr. Dalio, I heard that you and Anna are dating. Let's go inside and have breakfast together. Giorgio is here too, and we can all discuss it together."
