Chapter 357 Worried about Him Being Jealous?

"Yes." Lucia didn't deny it at all and explained, "If I go, given Giorgio and Enrico's relationship, Enrico will definitely tell him. Then Enrico will take the initiative to ask him to lend me the house directly, which will make it seem like I can't do without Enrico, and I will owe him a favor.
"I also thought about finding a stranger to buy it, but Giorgio values that house a lot and doesn't need to sell it to make money. After much thought, only you came to mind."
"So? Is one of the reasons you brought me into the company for this?"
"No. I saw your work and thought you were suitable for that style. I stayed up late last night sorting through it. Look, this is the data I organized overnight. I didn't expect that the house would be the most suitable according to the standards.
"If you're not willing, we'll have to settle for another one.
"But that one is not only too old and needs time to renovate, it's also far from the studio, requiring a two-hour drive every day."
Lucia took out the pictures and information of the house.
Indeed, the house looked a bit old and lacked aesthetic appeal.
Her serious and focused demeanor didn't seem like she was lying.
Anna was in a dilemma. She did want to do this job well with Lucia, but if she went to Giorgio, it would be complicated.
She didn't know what to do.

"By the way, Katherine should also have the right to use Giorgio's house, right? I'll ask her to check." Anna had a sudden idea and contacted Katherine on her phone.
"Katherine, can you use your status to ask Giorgio to lend me the old house on the outskirts?"
"Anna, are you out of your mind? Do you think I would help someone who scared me with a mouse at a party and threatened me? I've been very patient with you, that's already more than enough!" Katherine's voice was filled with anger.
After that party, she was furious and wanted to confront Anna.
However, she couldn't find a way and was afraid of provoking Anna, exposing everything, so she suppressed her anger and waited for the right moment.
"Listen, we shouldn't have any contact. Don't come bother me, it's best for you not to show your face in front of Giorgio either."
With that, she was about to hang up when Anna interjected, "It's because I don't want to see him that I asked you, as that house is very useful to me. If you don't help me, I'll have to go to him."
Katherine was taken aback and asked, "What do you need that house for?"
"I want to lend it to Lucia. She knows about me being your stand-in, and I need to use this house as a condition for confidentiality." Anna didn't reveal the truth to Katherine.
With this reason, Katherine had to agree.
She hesitated. "Fine, I'll get it for you. But tell her, if she reveals anything, she won't have peaceful days."
The call ended.
Anna smiled. "It's settled."
However, Lucia's gaze deepened. The relationship between Katherine and Anna was so bad?
It seemed like there was more to it?
Giorgio received a call from Katherine after the morning meeting.
"Giorgio, I need to use that house of yours. Can you lend it to me for a while?" Her voice was gentle.
In the past, Giorgio never refused anything Katherine asked for, he was never stingy.
"Tell her not to have any ideas about it," he said, then hung up. He threw his phone on the desk, and instructed Tony, "Contact Katherine and find her another house."
Usually, he left matters concerning Katherine to Tony.
Tony was slightly stunned when he heard the call.
Did Katherine want that house?
Did she know what that house meant to Giorgio?
It was the only home of the woman Giorgio had cared about in the past.
Katherine was furious from Giorgio's rejection.
He wouldn't give her love, and now he wouldn't even give her a rundown house?
His phone rang, it was Tony calling.
"Katherine, Giorgio asked me to find you a similar house. Take a look at the options I've sent to your email."
So, he wasn't refusing to give her a house? Just not that particular one?
Katherine was curious. "What does that house mean to him?"
"It's something Giorgio cares about the most. Even if Viviana mentions it, Giorgio gets angry. Don't ask about it," Tony warned.
The most important thing to him?
Even Viviana mentioning it made him angry?
Katherine sneered, a hint of malice passing through her eyes, "Alright, got it."
She hung up and called Anna.
"Giorgio seems busy, he said he'll get back to me in half a month. I can't make it either. If you and Lucia can't wait, go talk to him in person. I don't mind, after all, it's because of my matter."
She was so accommodating?
Anna felt something was off, but they couldn't afford to wait for half a month. "Alright, don't worry, I'll only talk about the house and then leave."
"Okay." Katherine ended the call, a smug smile playing on her lips.
Giorgio detested women who lacked self-awareness. If he wouldn't even give her that house, how could he give it to Anna?
Besides, what Viviana couldn't do to upset him, let Anna do it.
She looked forward to seeing Anna's fate.
Anna had no idea about her schemes. Since Katherine didn't mind, and it was also for business, she didn't need to be overly dramatic.
Besides, she planned to bring Giuseppe along.
Upon arriving at the company, she intended to greet the receptionist, but found that the position had changed?
It must have been a normal work transfer; she couldn't be the receptionist forever.
Without much thought, she went straight upstairs.
"Anna, are you looking for Giuseppe? He's not in the office today," a friendly female clerk outside the office informed her.
Anna frowned. Was he at the construction site again? Should she go see Giorgio alone?
Forget it, she'd wait and see him with Giuseppe in the evening.
She prepared to leave when a voice called out to her.
"Anna?"
She turned around and was surprised to see Tony and Giorgio coming out of the meeting room.
Giorgio, in a suit and tie, exuded a noble and aloof aura.
He was still as intimidating as ever, making people instinctively want to submit.
She quickly lowered her head and blurted out, "Yes, I'm here to see Giorgio about something."
Seeing Giorgio? After being so distant from him these days, why would she come to see him in person?
Tony was puzzled yet delighted. Would Giorgio be happy now?
"I'll go make you some coffee." He happily ran off.
Giorgio's deep and aloof gaze fell on Anna. Without much pause, he sneered and said, "So, you couldn't find Giuseppe and decided to come to me instead? Do you see me as his replacement?"
Anna's expression changed drastically; she felt very embarrassed.
She was just standing at Giuseppe's office door; she didn't mean that.
"I actually came to see you on purpose. I just wanted to see Giuseppe together," she explained in a small voice filled with defense.
However, her explanation didn't make Giorgio happy.
"If you're not happy, I won't meet with you. You can go renovate the rundown house, running two hours every day. I don't want to see you!" She took a step to leave.
Giorgio reached out, grabbed her wrist, and led her into the office, before closing the office door.
