Chapter 377 I Assume Breach of Contract Liability for You

Giorgio had an elegant and magnetic voice that Anna found incredibly alluring on a night like this.

As her heart raced and nervousness crept in, she heard him mention, "I believe the man outside is Giuseppe. Are you still planning to stay with him for another six months after what just happened?"

This revelation surprised Anna. How did he know? But then again, no servant would dare misbehave in the Vittorio family's estate, especially at Maple Valley Estates. With a slight press of her lips, Anna responded, "We're adults, just playing a game and getting what we need. Although he is now doing something beyond our agreement, it doesn't affect my relationship with him for the next six months.”

“You're quite forgiving, aren't you?" Giorgio remarked with cold sarcasm, the oppressive atmosphere around him intensifying. Anna couldn't decipher his thoughts.

She took a deep breath and asserted, "Giorgio, my contract with Mr. Vittorio remains unchanged. I signed it willingly, and I am repaying him out of my own volition. Please stop inquiring about him."

Giorgio, displeased with her method of repayment, questioned, "So your repayment involves obediently following his orders and sacrificing your own reputation?" He then added, "Tell me, what consequences do you face for breaching the contract? I'll help you deal with the favor he did for you.”

Was he attempting to make her cut all connections with Giuseppe? Anna felt a twinge of emotion. While his words did touch her in some way, she was not naive.

He had a liking, an interest, or maybe even affection for her, but that was all. He couldn't give her much, and their statuses wouldn't allow it. Once his novelty wore off, he could walk away unscathed. And her? She'd be left with nothing and her reputation would be in ruins. She couldn't afford to play game with him.

"Thank you, Giorgio, but I'll handle my own affairs. You should focus on your relationship with Katherine and think more about Charlie and Viviana."

As soon as she finished speaking, the commotion from Giuseppe's side also ceased. Anna saw two figures leave and immediately broke free from Giorgio's grasp, running away. Giorgio stood tall and slender, his hanging hand clenched, veins bulging.

At Maple Valley Estates, Giuseppe laid Katherine on the bed, changed his clothes, and then headed out. Unexpectedly, he encountered Anna as he made his way upstairs. His expression betrayed a hint of unease as he explained, "I forgot some documents. When I returned, I discovered her intoxicated, so I brought her to the room.
Anna smiled faintly and said, "Mr. Vittorio, it's understandable to have lingering feelings for her, but given that she is Giorgio's wife, I suggest exercising some restraint. If your true relationship is exposed, I won't take the fall for her."

Her disapproval brought a sense of satisfaction to Giuseppe. He approached her, gently stroked her head, and reassured her, "Don't worry, I won't repeat this mistake. By the way, Giorgio is filing for divorce. Please look after her. I'm off to the company.

Anna was feeling conflicted. Earlier that morning, Giorgio had casually mentioned divorcing Katherine because of her. Anna had initially thought he was joking, but it turned out he was serious.

Walking into the room, she saw Katherine unconscious and drunk on the bed. Despite her hatred for Katherine, Anna couldn't help but feel a pang of pity. She wondered what would happen if Giorgio actually went through with divorcing Katherine forcibly. The next day, Anna prepared oatmeal and vegetable salad for herself and Penny.

When Katherine came downstairs and accused Anna of scheming to have Giorgio divorce her, Anna retorted, "You're being too self-absorbed. I only set two plates for Penny and me, not for you.”

Katherine examined the table closely and indeed noticed that there were only two sets of utensils laid out. Her expression changed as she said, "You!"

"What?" Anna cut her off before she could start cursing. "If I really wanted you and Giorgio to divorce, I could have exposed you last night when you and Mr. Vittorio were making love outdoors. Take care of yourself ."

Katherine clenched her fists in anger!  She had sought validation through her affair with Giuseppe because Giorgio's constant belittling had left her feeling inadequate. However, even in their intimate moments, Giuseppe called out 'Anna!' which left Katherine questioning what Anna had that she didn't.

"Anna! If I really divorce Giorgio, I'll reveal what happened back then! You'll forever bear the shame of being his mistress! Your children will be branded as illegitimate! So, you better find a way to make Giorgio reconsider! Otherwise, there will be consequences!”

Katherine left after saying those harsh word. Anna was dumbfounded! It was Giorgio who initiated the divorce proceedings against Katherine. Shouldn't Katherine be the one making an effort to salvage the relationship? How could she expect Anna to find a solution or persuade Giorgio? Given Katherine's volatile nature, she was likely to carry out her threats, which would damage Anna's reputation. What steps could Anna take in this situation?

All day, Anna was restless and distracted.

“Anna, this is fantastic. We'll practice today and begin filming the first video tomorrow," Lucia exclaimed, gazing at the tranquil and charming old house with optimism. She had meticulously planned various operational strategies and was eager for them to come to fruition. After a brief discussion, she realized that Anna had not replied.

"What's wrong? Is something bothering you? Did Giorgio make things difficult for you when he gave you this house?"

"No, he asked me to help Katherine massage Viviana to help her sleep." Anna snapped back to reality.  She then turned to Lucia, hesitated for a moment, and finally revealed, "Lucia, I need to talk to you about something. Giorgio is considering divorcing Katherine because she answered his phone without permission. Do you think there's a way to resolve this?"

"What? Divorce?" Lucia was taken aback by Giorgio's decision, especially given Viviana's deteriorating health. "In my view, Giorgio's frustration with Katherine has finally boiled over. He never truly cared for her, and her disrespectful actions were just the last straw. But why does their divorce concern you so much?" Lucia inquired.

Anna said, "The call Katherine answered had something to do with me. I feel sorry."

That explained it. No wonder Giorgio made such a decisive decision. Lucia remarked. "We need to finalize the house rental agreement today. Perhaps you can discuss it with Giorgio when you see him?"

"Alright, that seems like the best option," Anna agreed, setting aside her thoughts to focus on rehearsing with Lucia and reviewing the filming details. In the afternoon, they brought the necessary documents to the Vittorio Group.

"Are you here to see Mr. Vittorio?" Tony appeared surprised to see them, as Giorgio's schedule did not mention this meeting. However, out of respect for Lucia's relationship with Enrico and Anna's significance to Giorgio, he didn't dare overlook them. "Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Stefanelli, Mr. Vittorio is currently in a meeting. It should wrap up in about half an hour.”

"Okay." Anna and Lucia sat in the office, waiting. After about five minutes, Anna excused herself to use the restroom. She set down her documents and phone, saying, "Lucia, I'm going to the restroom. If Giorgio arrives, feel free to start signing the contract.”

"Okay," Lucia nodded gently, as kind as ever.

Anna smiled at Katherine and exited the office. On her way past Giuseppe's office, she paused briefly and decided to greet him. Despite being only his supposed girlfriend, she wanted to avoid any misunderstandings about her intentions toward Giorgio.

Chapter 378 Does Giorgio Have Feelings for Her?

In the office, to her surprise, as she approached, she witnessed a shocking scene: Giuseppe's secretary, Olivia Johnson, was perched on the desk while Giuseppe stood in front of her, engaged in a passionate kiss. Their actions indicated that they were intimately involved. What was even more startling was that Olivia used to be Giorgio's secretary! The thought of an uncle and nephew being romantically involved with the same woman left her dumbfounded.

Anna was taken aback, her hand trembling and accidentally causing the door to make a noise. Giuseppe glanced up and noticed Anna standing in the doorway, looking stunned. His expression shifted as he uttered, "Anna?" Why was she there? Under Giuseppe's unwavering gaze, Anna wished she could disappear.

"I didn't mean to interrupt. Please go ahead."

She closed the door and prepared to leave.

"Stop." Giuseppe pulled away and gently said to Olivia, "You can go now."

“Fine," Olivia grudgingly straightened her skirt and shot Anna a hostile glare before walking away. Did Olivia now resent her and hold a grudge? Anna hadn't intended to interfere. If she had known what she would witness, she wouldn't have shown up.

"Why are you at the company?" Giuseppe asked.

Anna snapped back to reality and glanced at him. He had swiftly returned to his usual gentlemanly facade. Men are certainly skilled at hiding their true selves.

Catching the emotion in her gaze, Giuseppe clarified, "I was only teasing her. I have no real interest in her, so please don't misunderstand.”

He could have been physically intimate with her without any emotional attachment. If he genuinely cared for her, how would he act in that scenario? Anna couldn't comprehend his perspective and responded calmly, "I'm here for business. Rest assured, our relationship is just for show. I won't meddle in your personal affairs. You're free to see other women. You don't have to concern yourself with me.”

She sounded surprisingly calm.

Giuseppe, looking displeased, approached Anna and pressed her against the wall. "Anna, as my girlfriend, you should be concerned," he stated. Anna, taken aback by his closeness, turned her face away in defiance. "Mr. Vittorio, you had intimate encounters with Katherine last night and your secretary this morning. If I truly cared, I would be furious," she retorted.”

"Then let’s fuck," Giuseppe said unexpectedly.

Anna was stunned.

What did he say?

Upon seeing her distressed expression, Giuseppe decided not to reveal to her that his illness had been resurfacing. To cope, he found solace in envisioning those other women as her during their intimate moments.

"Anna, as long as you're willing to have sex with me, I won't have any connection with them."

He leaned in to kiss her.

"Mr. Vittorio! Don't do this!" Anna protested as she gently pushed against his chest. "You shouldn't sacrifice a whole forest for a single blade of grass. If I'm disturbing you, feel free to carry on with your task. I'll excuse myself.”

"No, I only want you."

Giuseppe planted a kiss on her forehead.

Fresh from his encounter with Olivia, he hadn't even bothered to freshen up. Anna felt repulsed and pushed him away forcefully. Just then, there was a sudden knock on the door.

Anna turned to see Giorgio standing there, his hand casually in his pocket, his demeanor elegant yet filled with anger. "The office isn't meant to be your personal rendezvous spot. Should I start running a hotel here for you?”

His sarcastic tone was sharp and cutting.

Anna felt he must have misunderstood and now she was very nervous. Giuseppe, however, skillfully wrapped his arm around her waist and looked at Giorgio

"Giorgio, you're exaggerating. It's normal to get a bit carried away with my girlfriend. Do you need something?"

Giorgio smirked, his eyes full of mockery. At this moment, Anna quickly said, "Giorgio, during the meeting, we discussed the documents you're responsible for. Here are the materials and you can organize them."
His eyes shifted to Anna. "You're here to have me sign the contract?"

Anna affirmed with a nod. "Mrs. Hill is in the office, waiting for us to finalize the contract. Giorgio, you can proceed to sign it with her. I'll quickly use the restroom and join you shortly.”

With that, she quickly took the opportunity to run away.

Adjusting his tie, Giuseppe glanced at Giorgio and remarked, "Giorgio, it appears that you have feelings for Anna?" He was probing and challenging him.

Giorgio met his gaze without any change in expression and replied, "Are you truly interested in finding out?"

Normally, Giorgio should have felt guilty in this situation, but his composed and mysterious demeanor made Giuseppe feel a tinge of insecurity instead. He wasn't prepared to hear the response.

“I was only kidding. Why would Giorgio be interested in your niece-in-law? Just remember, Anna is my girlfriend. As a grown man, you should know to respect boundaries."

Giorgio responded with a nonchalant smile, showing no change in expression.

"Are you feeling threatened? That's unlike you," he remarked before patting Giuseppe on the shoulder and making his exit.

Giuseppe stood there seething, the glint of anger reflected in his gold-rimmed glasses. In the presence of Giorgio, no man felt truly safe.

In the restroom.

Anna sat on the toilet, feeling conflicted. Although she had agreed to date Giuseppe, she had no desire to form a serious relationship with him. Learning that he had slept with Katherine the previous night left her feeling repulsed. If she were to marry someone, it shouldn't be a man like Giuseppe who casually becomes involved with other women.

She felt uneasy about Giorgio seeing her in that predicament. Why was she so concerned about avoiding any misunderstandings with him? Feeling exasperated, Anna stood up, ready to depart. However, to her surprise, the door wouldn't budge. What could be causing this?

"Is anyone there? Help me open the door."

Instead, she was met with a sudden cascade of cold water drenching her from above! Anna stood there soaked and utterly miserable. Looking up, she saw nothing but heard the sound of footsteps racing away. It dawned on her that someone was playing a prank on her.

Whether she screamed or not, no one would likely find her. She didn't have her phone with her either. She could only wait for Lucia to notice her absence and come looking for her.

In the office.

Giorgio looked at the contract on the table.

[Anna agrees to provide massage services to Viviana until Viviana's passing. In return, Giorgio offers Anna the use of the West River house for three years as compensation. This agreement becomes legally binding once signed.]

The agreement was straightforward and to the point, formalizing the house rental as a business transaction.

Giorgio, true to his word, wouldn't backtrack on his promise to give it to her.

Putting down the document, he turned to Lucia and stated, "Since it's Anna's agreement to sign, I'll sign it. Mrs. Hill, you may head back now."

Lucia caught his drift and recalled that Anna had something to discuss with Giorgio. She left without much ado. As Giorgio sat at his desk, sorting through documents, two hours flew by, but Anna had not returned. Could she have gone to seek out Giuseppe once again?

"Take these documents to the planning department," Giorgio said, his eyes darkening. After handing the documents to Tony, he got up and walked out.

To his surprise, he noticed Giuseppe working on documents, but Anna was nowhere to be found.

Had she been in the restroom all along, or had she already departed? Giorgio made his way towards the restroom, only to find a blue warning sign in the hallway indicating that the restroom was temporarily closed for maintenance. He decided to turn around and leave.

"Don't come in," a faint whisper sounded. It was Anna's voice. Giorgio squinted and walked straight in.

Seeing a mop propped against a door, he walked over, pulled it down, and pushed the door open.

The pitiful sight of a drenched Anna instantly came into view.

Chapter 379 You Have Feelings for Me Too

Anna crouched in the corner, drenched and shivering.

"Anna?" Giorgio called softly, frowning.

She didn't respond, as if she were having a nightmare.

He bent down and scooped her up, carrying her back to the office.

"Giorgio? What's wrong with Anna?" Tony, who had just returned to the office after delivering some documents, asked in surprise.

Seeing Anna's pale face, he said worriedly, "Should I notify Mr. Vittorio? Or call a doctor?"

"No need," Giorgio's handsome face showed a very unpleasant expression. "Go check the hallway surveillance outside the restroom. Also, don't let anyone into my office for now."

Tony was taken aback, but Giorgio had a meeting to attend soon! Before Tony could say anything, Giorgio was already making his way to the inner lounge. When it came to Anna, Giorgio never discussed work.

In the lounge.

Anna was dreaming.

She dreamed of her childhood, remembering the dark room where Wendy had confined her, feeling the cold and darkness closing in.

She was scared, trembling, and crying.

Suddenly, a warm sensation enveloped her, accompanied by a delightful scent reminiscent of the rejuvenating April sunlight, creating a sense of comfort and ease.

She gradually calmed down, immersed in Giorgio's scent, and fell into a deep sleep.

Giorgio sat by the bed, looking at her face.

He suddenly realized that the usually highly vigilant and argumentative Anna was just good at pretending.

Many of the childhood traumas and hardships she had experienced were still hidden in her heart.

Once these distant memories were recalled, she would collapse.

“Mr. Giorgio Vittorio," Tony's voice was barely a whisper outside the door. "I discovered that Olivia was behind it. She was caught by Mrs. Stefanelli during an intimate moment with Mr. Giuseppe Vittorio. Feeling upset, she wanted to cause trouble for Mrs. Stefanelli. How would you like to address this situation?”

She was making love with Giuseppe and was discovered by Anna?

A deep meaning flashed in Giorgio's eyes. He stood up, opened the door, and walked out "Since she is so devoted to Giuseppe, assign her to Giuseppe's office."

“But Mr. Giorgio Vittorio, Olivia has always been loyal to you..." Tony wanted to mention Olivia's loyalty and her qualifications as an Evergreen University graduate. However, he realized that Giorgio's decisions were final, especially considering Olivia's actions that had provoked Anna. Tony chose to stay silent, show respect, and left the room.

Giorgio turned back into the room, closed the lounge door, and unexpectedly found that Anna on the bed was already awake.

He walked over "You should sleep a bit more. Let me take your temperature to see if you have a fever."

He was gentle and elegant.

Anna was slightly surprised.

She had actually been woken up by Tony's knocking and heard their conversation.

It wasn't surprising that Olivia was the one causing trouble, but according to Tony, Olivia also had feelings for Giorgio? The thought made her feel sorry for him.

His wife had an affair with Giuseppe, and his lover was also connected to Giuseppe.

He was really unlucky.

"What’s that look? Gratitude? Or do you want to offer yourself to me?" Giorgio's clear and magnetic voice sounded.

Anna quickly snapped back to reality. She didn't want to offer herself to him.

But was it him who saved her earlier? The pleasant and warm scent in her dream was also him.

Feeling a bit unsettled, she stood up to leave and was startled to realize she was wearing a men's shirt without anything underneath!

"Ah! My clothes!"

Giorgio said calmly, "Your clothes were wet. Do you want to wear them?"

Naturally, Anna was aware that her clothes were damp. What she really wanted to inquire about was, "You didn't happen to change my clothes, did you?”

She was anxious, probing, hoping the answer wasn't what she thought.

Giorgio react instantly and said, "I was the one who changed your clothes."

Instantly, Anna's face turned crimson.

He had seen every part of her body while helping her change clothes, and he mentioned it so effortlessly and nonchalantly, as if it were insignificant.

"Pervert," she gritted her teeth, grumbling.

Giorgio chuckled softly, approached the bed, and stood before her, gazing down. "So, was it wrong of me to change your clothes? To help you? Was I interfering?”

"That's not what I meant."

Anna realized that she had misunderstood his kindness in a somewhat negative way. She got up and said, "I believe it's best if we maintain some distance. Thank you, though. I'll treat you to a meal when you're available.”

Anna, naive, willful, and straightforward.

When she woke up, he couldn't see any weakness or sadness in her eyes.

But as Giorgio's mind drifted back to the memory of her vulnerable and delicate figure leaning against him like a kitten, he uttered, "I don't need you to buy me a meal. There's something else I desire.”

"What?" Anna looked at him curiously.

As she looked up, she met his very beautiful and deep eyes.

In his pupils, reflections of her figure seemed to be the answer.

Her heart skipped a beat as she whispered, "Giorgio...!" But before she could say more, her lips were silenced. Giorgio's intoxicating scent enveloped her, penetrating her heart, lungs, and bones.

Why did he like kissing her so much?

Anna pushed him away forcefully "Giorgio, I don't like this."

"Then what do you like?" His magnetic, husky voice twisted her words.

Anna expressed her frustration. "I don't understand why you continually mistreat me, but I have my dignity, integrity, and principles. I refuse to be involved in sabotaging my sister's marriage or becoming your mistress. Giorgio, I urge you to reconsider your decision to divorce her. If she decides to end the marriage because of the call I made, I will feel guilt.”

She clearly expressed her thoughts.

Giorgio's eyes narrowed.

He looked at her lips, red and tender after kissing.

He firmly gripped her waist, pulling her down onto the bed and positioning himself dominantly above her. Locking eyes with her, he could see the panic in her gaze. "You have feelings for me as well, don't you? Why do you constantly try to push me towards other women?”

His voice was gentle yet commanding.

Anna's complexion paled as she averted her eyes. "I'm not sure what you're implying. It's impossible for me to have feelings for you. Or are you referring to physical reactions? If any man were to kiss me, it would elicit a biological response.”

She hid her true feelings with bold words.

Giorgio's eyes darkened "Anna, you're lying."

"I'm not lying!"

Anna retorted, her slightly raising voice betraying her guilt.

Giorgio smiled.

His smile beamed warmly as he realized he had uncovered the truth. Anna's long eyelashes fluttered lazily, unwilling to engage in an argument with him.

"Giorgio, we can't be together. Let me go."

At this moment, she was very rational and calm.

Giorgio frowned, saying, "Are you admitting you have feelings for me and want to be with me?"

Anna was speechless.

She felt she had no common ground with Giorgio!

"Giorgio." Suddenly, Giuseppe's voice came from outside.

Anna's face turned pale, panicking saying "Giuseppe is looking for you. Let go of me and go out."

Giorgio's displeasure grew at the sight of Katherine's guilty expression and concern for Giuseppe. "You claim we can't be together, yet you think it's acceptable to be with him? What were your intentions with him in the office today?" Anna realized he had misunderstood, but she felt frantic as he continued to interrogate her.

"Can you go out first?"

"Answer me first." Giorgio didn't change his posture, with intense gaze .

He wanted to see what she really felt about Giuseppe.

She didn't like him but could make love with Giuseppe?

Chapter 380 Feelings Can Be Transferred

Anna noticed the seriousness in his gaze and realized she needed to respond to his inquiry. "There was nothing between us. He tried to initiate something, but I was about to decline when you walked in. It's the truth."

Anxious that he might not believe her, she swore earnestly. "That's my answer. Can you please go now?" Giorgio seemed content with her explanation, but instead of leaving, he smoothly shifted position, reclining on the bed and pulling the blanket over them.

Anna couldn't help but wonder, 'What was he up to?’

Anna, plunged into darkness, felt both embarrassed and annoyed. She wanted to crawl out.

The sound of the door opening echoed.

She was so scared that she lay still, not daring to move.

At the door, Giuseppe glanced at the composed Giorgio on the bed and inquired with suspicion, "Giorgio? Napping at this time of day?"

Giorgio, who hadn't even eaten lunch yet, sat up, rested against the bed, and casually extended one leg, effectively hiding Anna beneath the blanket.

He casually remarked, "I can lie on the bed even without napping. Is there something you need?"

In his presence, Giuseppe's demeanor always seemed to pale in comparison. Giuseppe gave a faint smile and asked, "I heard Anna was here earlier to sign the house contract. I thought you two were still together. Has she completed it and left?"

Giorgio replied, his left hand hidden under the blanket, firmly grasping Anna's hand, and stated solemnly, "She most likely departed about an hour ago.

Anna felt speechless under the blanket.

Did he not blush when he lied?

His warm hand sent a shiver down her spine, causing unease to creep into her heart. The blanket was stiflingly hot, making it difficult for her to catch her breath.

“Giuseppe," Giorgio suddenly remarked with seriousness, "Things you strive to take by force will never truly be yours." Giuseppe, sharp and perceptive, immediately grasped the implied message behind his words.

He smiled, "Giorgio is absolutely right, but since it's something I worked hard to get, I will definitely feel happy."

Giorgio's eyes darkened, "But you will pay the price for it."

Giorgio was strategic, and dangerous.

Without allowing Giuseppe to get a word in, he pressed on, "Olivia will now be your dedicated personal assistant. If there are any other assistants from my team that you prefer, I can arrange for them to assist you too.”

Giuseppe's mouth twitched.

Was Giorgio monitoring his personal life to manipulate him?

Realizing that Olivia had worked with him late into the night and had intentionally seduced him that morning, some things started to make sense.

"Giorgio's manipulations are truly inscrutable. One day, I'll also assign you a couple of assistants that you favor," Anna remarked.

"There's no need, I already have someone in mind," Giorgio replied as he subtly tightened his grasp on Anna's hand. In that moment, he longed to be one with her.

Anna felt a mix of anger and amusement. Did they truly see women as mere objects of pleasure? With their wealth and influence, they likely indulged in relationships with multiple women without hesitation. Suddenly, she remembered Giorgio's earlier question, "You have feelings for me as well, don't you?”

She couldn't deny that his maturity and handsomeness attracted her.

But it was just a crush.

He was surrounded by different women, and she couldn't be as indifferent as they were because what she desired wasn't money or physical pleasure. She longed for the dedication and commitment of love.

And he wasn't her ideal partner.

So, some feelings should be kept in check.

"Are you asleep?" Giorgio's pleasant voice sounded.

Anna snapped back to reality and realized Giuseppe had already left. She quickly sat up

"Giorgio, have you signed the contract? If you have, I'll head back. Lucia and I have other work to do."

She suddenly became distant and aloof.

Giorgio noticed her mood, "Are you angry? Giuseppe was already at the door,so I had no other choice."

His explanation was cultured, gentlemanly, and carried a special tenderness.

This kind of tenderness could make any woman fall for him.

But his tenderness wasn't exclusive to her.

Maybe last night or the night before, he was just as tender to another woman.

And today, he could give Olivia to another man. Perhaps one day, when he got tired of her, he would abandon her too.

Anna collected herself and gazed at Giorgio with composure. "I'm not upset," she said calmly. "I've come to realize the answer to your earlier question. We're all grown-ups here. Whether or not I have feelings for you doesn't hold much significance. It's not a unique or irreplaceable emotion, as I am capable of having feelings for others as well.”

Giorgio understood her meaning, his deep eyes narrowing, "What do you mean? Are you saying you have feelings for me, but you can transfer them tomorrow?"

Anna nodded.

It seemed he was smarter than she thought.

She said, "Isn't that true? I had feelings for Mr. Dalio in the past. And when Mr. Vittorio rescued me, I developed similar feelings for him. These recent days, being in your presence, I've also developed feelings. It seems that women's feelings can easily be stirred by any man who shows affection." She spoke sincerely and even provided examples.

Giorgio was thoroughly annoyed by her words.

If the feelings she spoke of could be given to anyone, he didn't want them any more.

"Anna, you should know, not every woman is qualified to receive my affection. Are you sure this is your answer?"

Anna knew very well that the women around him were all beautiful and capable.

But she didn't like being one of those women, nor would she feel honored because of that.

She firmly said, "Yes, thank you for considering me, but that's my answer."

With that, she got up and left directly.

Giorgio sat there, his expression dark.

The atmosphere in the room became oppressive again.

As Anna approached the office door, a gust of wind blew, and she suddenly noticed that she was wearing Giorgio's white shirt! The thought of being ridiculed if she went out like that made her cringe.

However, the idea of turning back in embarrassment was equally daunting. Just as she hesitated, the elevator doors in front of her opened, revealing a graceful figure - Katherine!

Panicking at the thought of Katherine seeing her in Giorgio's shirt, Anna had no other option but to swiftly retreat back to the lounge.

In that moment, Giorgio tossed her wet clothes into the trash can, his demeanor aloof as if tossing out trash. Men could be more ruthless than women, disposing of things without a second thought. Anna was well aware of this, but witnessing it firsthand made her inexplicably melancholic.

Clearly caught off guard by her return, Giorgio fixed her with a cold, noble gaze and asked, "Why did you come back?" in a chilly tone.

Compared to his husky tone when he was emotional earlier, now it was only filled with detachment.

But Anna had no time to think about this.

"Katherine is here. I need to hide."

She looked around. The room was clean and tidy, with only two places to hide:wardrobe or the bathroom.

Anticipating that Katherine might need to use the bathroom, Anna swiftly ducked into the wardrobe and whispered to Giorgio, "Please, make sure she doesn't open the wardrobe.”

Giorgio's lips curved into a smile filled with implications that Anna couldn't grasp. All she heard him say was, "Why should I assist you? Is it because of your inconsistency with men? Or because you once grouped me together with Simon and Giuseppe?”

Chapter 381 Is Anna Pregnant?

Anna's face turned pale as she stood frozen awkwardly in the wardrobe. She had simply asked him for a small favor! If Katherine were to catch her, it would be difficult to explain. Helping her cover it up would save them both a lot of trouble. Why wouldn't he assist her over such trivial concerns?

"Giorgio."

Outside, Katherine's voice sounded.

She had no time left!

"Please, do me this favor," Anna said, not waiting for his response, and closed the wardrobe door.

Her movements were as quick as a fox.

Giorgio smirked, staring at the corner of her white shirt peeking out, his eyes deep and contemplative.

"Giorgio? Are you here?" Katherine walked in.

She was adorned in a rare light purple suit, exuding elegance and nobility, radiating beauty and authority. It was evident that she had put a lot of thought into her outfit. Giorgio remained impassive, his tall stature subtly obstructing Anna's view.

"Have you thought about your wording?"

He was referring to the divorce wording.

Katherine's beautiful face stiffened, forcing a smile

“Giorgio, I don't want to end our marriage. I'm here to tell you that. From the time I got pregnant until we got married, you never once considered leaving me, right? It's because of Anna. Her presence has made you unsure. Do you have feelings for her,
