Chapter 244 Water Park Fun
After getting out of the car, a staff member ran over to help Quentin park the car, and a man who seemed to be the manager greeted them with a big smile.
The manager said, "Mr. Robinson, you're here. Is there anything you need help with? I'll do my best to arrange it for you."
As usual, Quentin wore a cold expression. "No, go about your business."
"Would you like us to clear the area? So you can have a more enjoyable time?" The manager asked ingratiatingly, his eyes lingering on Lauren and Matthew.
Quentin looked at Matthew's eager eyes and then at Lauren's indifferent face. He had a plan in mind; he knew Lauren hated special treatment.
He slowly said, "There's no need. It's more fun with more people."
Hearing this, Matthew nodded happily. The manager, being wise, personally brought over three raincoats and then left on his own.
On such a hot summer day, going to the Water Park was the perfect choice. The Water Park was bustling with visitors, most of whom were families with children, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
As soon as they got to the water, Matthew, like a horse let loose, plunged right in.
"Mommy, come in! It's so cool in here!" Matthew called out to Lauren happily.
Lauren smiled at Matthew. "Be careful. Don't drink the water."
Matthew laughed brightly and started playing in the water with the protection of his swim ring.
Lauren felt a cold gaze on her. She didn't need to think to know it was Quentin, scrutinizing her with his sharp eyes.
She directly ignored Quentin and walked to the side, intending to sit there and watch Matthew.
But Quentin wouldn't let her have a moment's peace. He strode over and said directly, "Aren't you going to get in the water and play with Matthew?"
Lauren glanced at Quentin disdainfully and didn't speak.
She didn't need him to interfere!
Seeing her silence, Quentin seemed to take pleasure in it. He asked, "Are you afraid of the water? Coming to the Water Park even though you can't swim. That's hilarious."
Lauren didn't give him a good look. She said, "Who said that people who can't swim can't come to the Water Park? I don't believe that every single visitor here can swim!"
As Quetin saw Lauren's fierce rebuttal, his smile grew wider. He knew he had hit a sore spot.
Quentin shrugged and said, "It's a rare visit; you don't want to disappoint Matthew, do you? Fine, if you can't do it, I'll do it. I'll show Matthew who really deserves to be his role model."
Quentin's words completely ignited Lauren's competitive spirit. Actually, she didn't mind getting in the water; she didn't want to appear in a swimsuit in front of Quentin. Just thinking about it made her feel awkward.
Quentin generously walked to the changing room, took off his suit, and changed into swimming trunks.
Lauren had to admit that Quentin had a great body! He had the perfect golden ratio, a strong chest, and faintly visible abs. As soon as he appeared, he attracted a lot of attention.
Quentin was the kind of person who made others envious. It was the first time Lauren had seen Quentin's bare body so clearly in daylight. Although it was just the upper half, she couldn't help but feel her heart race.
Lauren blushed and moved her gaze away from Quentin. He had already noticed Lauren's unusual behavior. He was very confident in his physique, which was one of the reasons he had agreed to come here with Matthew. He wanted Lauren to regret losing such an excellent man.
Matthew climbed out of the water and bounced over to Lauren. He asked, "Mommy, why haven't you changed? Look. Daddy is ready."
Lauren lightly tapped Matthew's hand, and he completely forgot what she had said.
Quentin walked over with a meaningful smile. He said, "Matthew, I'll teach you how to swim. Your mommy can sunbathe here."
"Okay, Daddy, but I also want Mommy to play with us," Matthew said innocently.
Quentin squatted down and looked at Matthew, saying, "Matthew, don't force your mommy. She's scared, so she doesn't dare to play in the water. We should be considerate of the weak, right?"
Quentin's words made Lauren very unhappy.
Quentin was pointing out her shortcomings right in front of her. She couldn't stand it. Ever since Matthew learned to talk, she had always been his role model. She wouldn't allow Quentin to take advantage of this moment.
While Lauren was hesitating, she didn't notice the intense eye contact between Matthew and Quentin.
Lauren was standing close to the pool, and Matthew and Quentin simultaneously pushed her into the water.
Lauren hadn't even reacted before her whole body was submerged. She looked at Matthew and Quentin angrily and frustratedly. She wanted to get mad but felt uncomfortable under the surprised gazes of the people around her.
"Matthew, you're too much!" Lauren couldn't vent her anger on Quentin, so she scolded Matthew.
Matthew hid behind Quentin, looking pitifully at Lauren. Matthew said, "Daddy asked me to help him push you into the water to cool you off."
Lauren clenched her fists and glared at Quentin. She knew Quentin had no good intentions!
"Mommy, don't be mad! We rarely get to come out and play. Please change and play with us, okay?" Matthew pleaded.
Lauren was helpless. Given the current situation, she had no choice but to change her clothes.
She glared at the innocent-looking Quentin, then grabbed her swimsuit from her bag and headed to the changing room.
After changing into her swimsuit, Lauren tried to pull the top up to cover her chest. She felt a bit shy. Having a baby was a second chance for a woman's chest to develop, and her previously almost flat chest had become very full.
Lauren's swimsuit was from three years ago, so it couldn't cover her cleavage. However, she couldn't go to the mall in wet clothes to buy a new one, so she had to wear it as it was.
Lauren walked towards Matthew and Quentin, covering her chest and cursing Quentin under her breath.
Quentin looked at Lauren with a burning gaze as if he wanted to melt her. Although Quentin knew Lauren always had a good figure, in just three years, she had become even more alluring, a real stunner in his eyes.
